Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend Stephen enough. So calm and patient, gives you the time to figure out how to handle on the road experiences without pressure. Made lessons fun and exciting (as someone who previously dreaded lessons with a different instructor) and gave me so much confidence for my test. Couldn’t ask for a better instructor! 7 months of lessons and a first time pass with 1 minor!

Fantastic experience: Well what can I say about my instructor, Stephen, unreal is one word that comes to mind. He turned my learning experience around! Extremely personable, a great laugh, easy going, makes each lesson about you and what you want out of it, makes learning to drive simple and relaxed. Fantastic experience: I couldn’t recommend jon enough, he was accommodating to my dates and timings and understanding when I couldn’t afford blocks of lessons. He was so kind and understanding whilst I was learning and would help teach me in ways that specially helped me such as drawing the roads and drawing out what I did incorrect. I have both dyslexia and dyspraxia Jon was very understanding of these disabilities understanding I would struggle with anticipation within space more then the usual driver and helped me over come this but also over come my nerves overall whilst driving!

Fantastic experience: One of my friends recommended Jon and I approached him in May 2023. I am a very anxious person and nervous person but he showed trust in me and gave me control of the car on the first day which made my experience very easy and made me more confident about driving. He used questioning techniques to understand my thinking process. He was so innovative and can tailor and adjust teaching strategies to meet the changing needs of students is impressive. His teaching methods are commendable. He made me so comfortable. Jon puts in a lot of effort and makes sure that we are very calm while driving, even if we make mistakes while learning which we are bound to as a learner but he will be always up for a laugh and will give us feedback in a way that we don't feel bad about it and we are focused on the road. He is a really confidence giver. I will strongly recommend Yello to everyone. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed taking driving lessons with Jon, he's been absolutely brilliant. He worked around my shift pattern really well and picked up on areas I needed to improve on straight away. Jon helped put me at ease on the road and you can have a laugh with him as well. I also loved all of the educational material he's sent as well to help strengthen my driving. I couldn't recommend an instructor more if you're looking to go down the automatic route!

Negative experience: Stephen taught my granddaughter and I am posting this review to let people know after teaching her in his own car when it came to her driving test he told her she couldn't use the car for the test. Luckily she had her own car but had no experience driving it. It was the Sunday before her test on the Monday when he told her she would need to buy a mirror for the examiner. He should inform his students at the start about this as she could have been driving her own car with him.

Fantastic experience: I had the most amazing time learning to drive, I was accepted within a week, Glyn is such an amazing person and teacher and if you get him as a driving instructor your lucky within the first 15 minutes of my first lesson I was driving and now I’ve passed my test and driving my own car best driving school.

Throughout the course of my lessons, Stephen was patient, professional and informal regarding my driving ability, perception, and general rules of the roads. I felt like Stephen tried to understand me as a person, which only bolstered his teaching ability. Stephen would actively watch my mood and reactions to driving, and alter lesson plans around it. Fantastic experience: My experience with Yello was great. My instructor Stephen was extremely helpful, professional and most of all, patient. He made our lessons enjoyable and made me feel comfortable even when mistakes were made whilst driving. I started with Stephen as a nervous learner, but he helped me to feel confident on the roads and gave great tips with anything that made me feel uncomfortable about driving. Fantastic experience: Absolute amazing experience from start to finish with yello driving school. Jon is a wonderful instructor, very patient, exceptional communication skills & shows a thorough understanding from start to finish with each lesson I had with him. He was able to calm my nerves and help me build on issues I was struggling while learning that I overcome to pass and now I'm  able to drive with the knowledge he has taught me. Fantastic experience: I have been with Glyn from Yelo Driving School since September 2019 although I haven’t been able to take a test yet due COVID I give full credit to Glyn and the School. Firstly, Glyn will come out of his way to provide you with lessons even if it means living a fair distance away as well as being fully flexible in trying find a time that best suits you. As well as doing half day lessons where he will provide you with food. The prices are fair with Yelo Driving School. £270 for 10 hours - 2 hour lessons. Secondly, when you are in the car with Glyn you feel relaxed and at ease. Glyn doesn’t make you feel nervous what so ever as well and he is one of the easiest instructors to talk to. With his experience and professionalism you’ll be ready in no time. Finally, with Glyn as your driving instructor you will definitely have a laugh! He will make your driving that enjoyable you’ll be eager to take your next lesson!

Positive experience: Wanted to say a massive thank you to John for his help passing my recent driving test,I was test ready but had failed my driving test a couple of times,I couldn’t understand what I was doing wrong,I managed a few lessons with John who pointed me in the right direction,he gave me a few pointers where I was going wrong,even after the few lessons we had he made me feel a much more confident driver and a safer driver,John was very professional and a calming influence l,thanks again John for all your help and support

Fantastic experience: I started taking manual driving lessons with John a few weeks ago after convincing myself I would be better in an automatic after a previous driving school suggested it as I had zero confidence driving, after telling him this he arranged an assessment lesson with me to see if I should go straight to automatic or not, John put me so at ease on that assessment that we continued with him teaching me manual. I am so glad that we continued manual lessons because John is the kindest, most patient driving instructor you’ll ever come across and not only have the lessons increased my confidence and made me a better driver but they’ve also been a lot of fun.
