Essential Driver Training (FAST-TRAK)

Fantastic experience: I had my cbt in November excellently trained by Jeff, then went straight for my direct access. Which i was trained by Andy, another top bloke and instructor. Passed first time on mod 1 and mod 2. Excellent atmosphere everyone is really nice. Food is top aswell so will be visiting for some food soon

Fantastic experience: I have just recently passed my CBT with FAST TRACK, and I can honestly say they were fantastic, from Steve booking me in to Jeff the instructor, who was excellent. I am looking forward to returning once I have taken my theory test to complete my direct access course. Oh and the diner is superb. Thanks all.

Fantastic experience: Passed the CBT in a day without any issues. This was in November, so a tad chilly! Experienced instructors with lots of extra tips and advice on how to stay safe on the roads. Slightly rushed towards the end of the course (4pm) but mostly due to the short daylight hours in November. Extra points to Marie for a cracking cup of tea & cake! Will be booking the remaining tests later in the year / 2025. Recommended!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend using fast trak, fantastic company all staff are extremely professional and friendly the instructors are brilliant, patient, hard working and will definitely get you upto the standard. The facilities are fantastic the food is top notch and the place has an amazing atmosphere. Negative experience: Fast track or just fast cash? please read and deside for your selves but this is what happened to me. Scott dey. Cbt course 14/03/2024. Arived early ready for cbt after paying in advance, second person who was booked on same course was over half an hour late so I had to wait before starting my training. By lunch time I had been told several times by instructor Geof how well I was doing and that he would have no problem taking me on the road after lunch, the second person on the course was struggling and the instructor told me he will need more practice, during lunch the decision was made by Geoff to allow the other guy to continue and have a bit more practice, I thought fair enough, then after doing several more maneuvers and practice we were then both told we didn't have time to do the road part, and we would have to re book and pay a further £110 on top of the £170 we already both paid, in fairness to Geoff he offered to help me out by doing the road part with me the next afternoon, after hearing it could be a possible 4 week wait due to availability and my shift pattern, which I appreciated  and booked in for it, the next day I was taken strait on the road and after the ride was given my certificate with no issues at all. They say they differ from other schools by only having 2 students at a time not 4 but I feal they may be making there money back by making people pay twice unnecessarily, like I said the instucter said several times I was ready for the road ride before lunch brake on day one, then to be told at around 15:00 that there is no time to take you on the road, I think is unacceptable not to mention the extra money. Be careful, guys. I'm not the only person that this happened to, and I don't think I will be the last.

In particular Mick who got me familiar with and confident on a bike and passing my CBT in a day having never previously ridden, and Andy who was amazing at preparing me for my Mod1 and Mod2 both of which I passed first time despite a few nerves and confidence issues! (And to Kev who also helped me pass Mod1!) All instructors and crew are welcoming, approachable and professional with a great sense of humour all of which really help put you at ease. Everything was explained to me very clearly and I never felt unsafe or unsure. I could go on but in short I cannot recommend them enough. Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic team. Safely helped me through my CBT, Mod1 & Mod2 in the space of a week. The instructors have some incredible experience between them and are eager to share that knowledge with their students regardless of ability. They help develop your confidence and competence in a fun and easy to follow manner. If you are looking to get yourself on two wheels, be it on a twist and go scooter or something bigger, these guys and girls will help you achieve that dream. The bikes and equipment are great and superbly maintained helping you to feel comfortable and safe whilst you’re training. And if for any reason you’re not interested in bikes, Fast-Trak have a fantastic little cafe on site that is worth a visit on its own.

Fantastic experience: I did my CBT yesterday. And I've got to say the staff and service was fantastic. The instructor's were patient with the three riders and myself (even when I lost my instructor for a while during our road ride, sorry again guys ) they made a joke had a few giggles and got the job done. I would highly recommend using 'Fast Trak' as they are a family feel company, and I'll certainly be going back for my big bike licence shortly

Fantastic experience: I completed my CBT yesterday with these guys, it was a good experience. The day was fun, I learnt loads and the centre has a very supportive, relaxed atmosphere and great food! Communication before the day, regarding terms and conditions, was also a lot clearer than the other centres that I contacted. As a beginner, I felt like I was in safe hands, and will definitely return to get my full license.

Fantastic experience: Did my CBT on a manual 125cc bike yesterday, I was full of nerves but these instructors really helped me feel more confident.. I feel 5 stars isn't enough! Highly recommend Also I recommend the pancakes with bacon from the cafe! Really lovely friendly place

Fantastic experience: Read just a handful of reviews and you'll get the message. These guys are great, they're friendly, super helpful and hugely experienced. I didn't think I was ready, but Serena told me to 'pull my finger out' and just do it. Mick & Andy were excellent at getting me where I needed to be, and I passed 1st time!!!! Fantastic experience: Couldn't name a single thing I would change about my experience at Fast-Trak yesterday. I went to do my CBT and the staff were incredibly patient and understanding. I often get flustered and frustrated when I can't do things right, but the instructors were so friendly and helpful that I didn't feel that at all! All the staff seem to get along really well and are at ease with each other, which makes for a lovely relaxed and at ease atmosphere. Thank you all for such a good time! Fantastic experience: I recently passed my A2 test, I could not of done it without the outstanding instructors who provided the BEST training. Serena went above and beyond to get me a test after it was cancelled last minute due to Covid. I would recommend to anyone to use FASTRACK. Unbeatable atmosphere and training together. 5/5!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Fast-trak EDT for motorcycle training. I am pleased to say that I have recently passed my category A motorcycle license. The instructors and staff were fantastic and went the extra mile to accommodate me during the COVID-19 pandemic. There were issues with DVLA concerning test booking that must have been a nightmare for them but Serena was wonderful and manage to sort them out so I could take my test. As I happened I ended up with having mod 1&2 test on the same day and I managed to pass both first time, this wouldn’t have been possible without Fast-Trak’s professionalism and their dedication to there customers. I would like to thank Serena, Dave, Debi, Andy and Geoff and the rest of the staff for all their help and support during this difficult time. I am over the moon and can’t wait to see you all on a ride out soon.

Fantastic experience: I used Fast trak to do my direct access, they were brilliant from start to finish, got my test cancelled just before lockdown started but Serena managed to get me in very quickly once tests reopened. The knowledge and training from the instructors is fantastic and all the team at Fast trak are very friendly and welcoming. Fantastic experience: After passing my theory I was looking forward to doing my practical from start to finish, being unsure of who to go with I asked a few friends and fast-trak at battlefield had been recommended to me each time, so I popped down to see what all the fuss was about. I walked in and was welcomed warmly by smiles, I got chatting to a lovely lady (Serena) who through conversation and good advice got me sorted and booked in for the training we agreed I would need, I left feeling very positive and looking forward to returning and doing my CBT with Jeff, Upon returning I was excited but nervous, as soon as I walked in I was welcomed with smiles and an offer of a hot drink before we got started which immediately put my mind at rest and made feel a lot more comfortable. With good support and tutoring from Jeff I passed my CBT and couldn't have been happier with the day and the training provided, Left feeling excited to tackle my mod1 training upon my return to fast-trak, very happy I had taken the advice and recommendations of others to go to fast-trak for my training. I returned a few days later and yet again warmly welcomed in and offered a hot drink, the days plan was explained by my next instructor (Mick) feeling very comfortable with the plan for the day but yet nervous to be going onto a big bike we got started. Cutting a long story short I didn't take to the big bike as well as I had hoped unfortunately, but Mick remained very positive and he assured me that there are only solutions not problems, I felt annoyed with myself that the bigger bike got the better of me but I had 100% confidence in Mick and that he would find a way to help me get through it. Mick and Serena had been amazingly accommodating with rearranging my training and funds I had already paid getting me back in for further training on a later date. When I returned I was amazed with the options and advice I got to getting me used to the bigger bikes, we went back to the 125 and worked up to a 500 and then back onto the 600, their solution to my problem worked wonders and built not only my confidence back up but got me feeling much more positive that I can do it, by the end of that days training I was on top of the world and knew with the help and support of my instructor Mick as well as the support of Serena and all of the other staff at fast-trak I would be completing and passing my mod1 and mod2 training in no time. Each time after that day that I returned for mod1 and mod2 training I knew I had made the best choice with going to fast-trak, the main people I worked with had been the brilliant Jeff for my CBT, amazing Mick for my mod1 and mod2 training and the lovely ladies Serena and Donna in the office along with with a few other friendly trainers that were always full of smiles and friendly conversations. I am over joyed to say I soon went on to pass my mod1 and mod2 training and now ride my own big bike and my pride and joy, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that I wouldn't have my license and own bike now if it hadn't have been for the support, help and encouragement of Mick, Serena and Debbie through my difficulties during my mod1 and mod2 training. I really cannot recommend fast-trak enough! Lovely helpful supportive people that have become more like family now. I will definitely be returning for advanced rider training with fast-trak!

Fantastic experience: Ive just done my cbt and direct access with fast-trak. From day 1 I found the staff down to earth and extremely good at their jobs. Both Serena and debbie in the office are fantastic people and they do actually care if you pass, I had the an amazing response from the both when I passed my Mod 2. It felt like we had been friends for years! Mick was my instructor who although comes across as short and abrupt is the best trainer you could ask for, he is very thorough in his teaching and he doesnt just teach you to pass, he gets the best out of you so you can be the best rider you can. I've had a great time learning from the fast-trak guys and could not recommend them enough! Happy, friendly, helpfull... literally cannot do enough for you. See you all soon as passing on my bike. Fantastic experience: CBT to Full Bike Licence (DAS) - Very professional service provided from friendly staff, I had Mick/Steve/Dave on different stages of my training out on the road and they all work very hard to give you high quality training. Must thank Serena and Debbie for helping setup everything, they will provide you with all the information you need to get things moving.

Negative experience: Unfriendly, unhelpful and down right daft. After fast traks response I thought I would add some additional detail to help anyone else looking to get motorcycle training: I had cancelled a few times however I had paid additional deposits and gave advance notice before this - I was totally fair and even apologetic. However my experience with dealing with Fastrak in the end was was actually rude and obnoxious. I cancelled a test and a lesson due to slipping a disk in my back, I asked if there was anything they could do about it IE charging me at cost to help me along (the bill would have been around the £250 mark and I would have seen absolutely nothing out of it) to which they refused and said I would have to pay the full amount if I wanted to go ahead with any additional training. Even after this stage they had the cheek to rudely tell me that I have to correspond with them on the phone and not email. Where I work I don't get phone signal and to add to the point; you are being paid hundreds of pounds for this service - you can correspond via email if that's what the client wants. I used the word daft as if they tried to play ball or even speak to me on my level I would have stayed with them and they would have made alot of money off me as well as had recommendations from friends of mine too whom are all looking to learn - however now I have gone with a different provider who has actually given a much improved service. Having 20 years experience in motorcycle training wasn't the problem whatsoever, the training itself was actually okay I was upset with the way I had been dealt with. They even had the cheek to say good luck going anywhere else as they are the cheapest around which is true, by perhaps a tenner. Take my advice go to any other training centre in Shrewsbury

Fantastic experience: Well what can I say. I went to fast trak after finally convincing myself that the time was right to go for my bike test. Having never been in there before I was amazed at just how friendly and welcoming the staff were. Everything was explained to about the lessons and test's, all the prices were clearly set out and explained as well so I knew exactly what I was getting for my money. Nothing was too much trouble for them and I left having booked my whole bike test and lessons from start to finish. When I arrived at the morning of the first part of my tuition I was greeted with a cup of tea and smiles, instantly this calmed my nerves. This was the case every step of the way with each part of the learning process. The instructors Ross, Kev and Steve not only know what they are talking about but have a really good approach to explaining it to your in a way that is understandable. At no point did I feel under pressure or worried that I might not be able to do it. The friendly and confident approach from them was very reassuring and I didn't feel like I was just another student to them. If you go there and get Ross as an instructor you will never forget the fact that he never stops smiling haha. I completed all my lessons and test's over the course of a month (which flew by) and on the 28th of July I passed my MOD 2 and become the proud owner of a bike license. I honestly can't thank the staff there enough, they are an amazing set of people who will go out of there way to make you feel at home, clam and get you ready to pass your test. The bikes they put you out on are very good and I actually fell in love with the one i was riding (the yellow one!!). Lastly I must give a mention to Serena and Debbie in the office there. They are two amazing people. Kindness, friendliness, humor and help is just second nature to them and I can't speak highly enough of them. Every step of the way they were there giving you a little supportive comment, the information you need or just making you laugh when the nerves started to set in. They two lovely women and you too will discover just how incredible they are. 4 weeks after passing my test I now go back to visit them at least once a week and say hello, maybe even grab a quick cup of tea if they aren't busy. All of the staff there have become more like friends to me that just the people that helped me pass my test. If you are thinking of doing your CBT or full bike license then I urge you to go and see these guys, you will not be disappointed at all!!!!!
