Fantastic experience: I joined Jonathan’s driving school and I didn’t regret it one bit , he was very welcoming and extremely helpful . I had joined from previously failing my test and decided to book with him for 5 lessons before my test that was the same month . He re taught me everything and I got it in one go , passed my test first time with one minor ! . I definitely recommend everyone to come to him.

Fantastic experience: Jonathan is one of the best driving instructors I could of found to learn to drive. He is so incredibly patient and also makes everything feel easy. He teaches you without being overbearing so you are confident in your abilities once you pass and are driving independently. I was initially nervous to learn to drive but not once when I started my learning did I feel worried about anything. He corrects you in a way that you don’t panic but learn to adjust and correct yourself in future. I got all of my manoeuvres first time. I have some learning difficulties and thought I would struggle but I think I made the best decision for an instructor!! I passed first time on my test and Jonathan was able to find me a test that was dated the time I wanted to pass by, so I didn’t need to wait 8 months to schedule my test. I have been and will continue recommending storm driving to anyone who wants to learn to drive. All round a enjoyable experience to lean with him and I cannot recommend and thank Jonathan at storm driving enough!!

Fantastic experience: Working with JJ has been interesting and educative, before meeting JJ I have worked with other instructors which didn’t go well with me. From the very first day of our driving lesson I was convinced that am in the right place his style of teaching is so direct he breaks down everything to your understanding JJ was patience all through my learning period. He will make sure u understand what he’s teaching you before going to the next stage. He’s a confident builder always encouraging. With his teachings and guidance i was successful with my practical test. I would recommend JJ over and over again to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I just passed first time with 4 minors using JJ with only 23 hours worth of lesson, I can’t thank him enough for being patient with me, the only advise I can give is to trust him, his technique might be different to you but he definitely knows what he’s doing.

Fantastic experience: I took an intensive course with JayJay and I'm glad to say I passed my test first time round with zero minors. JayJay is an amazing instructor. He is very patient and makes sure to explain things clearly. His tips for parking maneuvers came in very handy too (my favourite was the parallel parking). He also made sure to explain any mistakes I made (what the mistake was, how to rectify it etc) and he was very reassuring even when I was feeling a bit nervous. I cannot thank him enough for helping me pass my test. I 100% recommend him ☺️

Fantastic experience: JJ is a very thorough and firm Instructor! He will make sure you’re fully prepared for your test. Note not to take his corrections personally as you will come to understand and appreciate it all. Will recommend him 100%, I am a much better driver because of him.

Fantastic experience: I have a very severe Autistic daughter who Jonathan taught how to drive , he is very patient, organised and very professional. He taught me, my wife and I have also recommended two of my friends. We all passed first time including my daughter who is autistic and we will be forever grateful to him . He makes you feel so relaxed and like one other review mentioned, he always I mean always ready to listen to you with care and tailor your lessons around you and your capabilities. Negative experience: My experience with this driver was somewhat bitter. I am happy he has several other good reviews though. I see he responded to a few reviews and wasn't pleasant, but this is my honest feedback. Jonathan, take it however you like (either grow from it or justify your actions) Where do I start? PROs - He came off as a good driver; one who is very diligent and wants you to be excellent. If you are already a good driver, then he might be ok for you. CONs -Amidst his diligence, he expects you to be excellent on your first lesson and is not in any way patient; he came off to me as an elderly man who was scolding his child (me). He was always scolding me, querying every single thing and shouting - I am a mother with kids, this was so upsetting to me. If you struggle with confidence then booking him will be a bad idea. He'd always want to 'put you in your place', 'have the last say' or 'win an arguement'. On 2 occasions he screamed at, or insulted other drivers while teaching me. - He was very passive aggressive and he made silly remarks; I found him condescending with his remarks, acting like my inability to drive effectively was a crime. Rather than correct your mistakes, he will ask you sarcastic questions to query your mistake...for instance he'd say "do you think what you just did makes sense/is sensible?" ...then when you don't answer his obviously rhetoric question, he'd pressure you for an answer. I was always anxious and shaking around him and I'm not a child for someone to be scolding. - He insists on bulk booking (or rather, nudges you towards this (i am sure this is consistent with other drivers as well). However, I couldn't quit his class because I had paid in bulk, but I found myself going for a lesson that was obviously not helping me. - His method of booking the lessons seems shady, its only about his availability and rarely about yours (this is after you have paid him upfront). - He doesn't particularly keep up to date with new changes with the DVSA requirements and updates; the next driver I used after him, seemed to be attending some meetings and provided me information about changes made. For instance, I had read on the govt website (and other youtube channels) about an update, but Jonathan was still teaching me otherwise, when I calmly tried to ask him, he scolded me....as he was the "teacher and I am the student" -It's true that he never ever finishes his hours; it's always between 10 - 30mins short of the hour and the only time I tried to point this out, Jonathan argued so I kept my mouth shut (I was seriously afraid of him as he always scolded me like his child). -He had a holiday booked and did not consider to let me know before I paid, so everything seemed a bit rushed as well (although this didn't bother me so much).

I was quite a nervous learner in the beginning, but Jonathan helped build my confidence and is great at giving clear advice and instructions during lessons. In addition to that, you want a driving instructor who is nice to talk to during lessons, and Jonathan is very friendly. Negative experience: Pls try u to best to avoid this driving instructor if u can , very unreliable and u will never get 2 full hours lessons which u have paid . U lessons will alway 20mins or half hour shorter each time . If u ask him he just tell u that is review time which u may get for 2 mins sometimes or nothing. 10 hours lessons took him nearly 5 months to complete , and exam was booked in the near future leave me in a devastating situation.

Fantastic experience: Where do I start!.. Due to my anxiety I struggled to find someone I was comfortable to drive with until i come across Jonathon. He almost instantly made me feel at ease when beginning to learn how to drive. I initially started my lessons in 2019 with him but due to covid I chose to stop, I started again by booking 10 hours in June 2022 and come the end of July 2022 I now have my full license! I really couldn’t recommend him enough he had full faith and encouragement and continuously told me I had the ability to pass 1st time round and I did! He was one of the cheapest and most flexible instructors around my area and after every lesson gave me feedback about my pros and cons regarding the progress I was making throughout my lessons. I generally can’t thank him enough and I will be recommending future family/friends to learn him with no hesitation.

Fantastic experience: I done my lessons with Jonathon after being messed about by other local instructors both price and time wise. Upon starting my lessons I came to realise that he is a very understanding and also a very down to earth and honest person. He made me feel very confident and comfortable when I was learning and would always advise where I could focus on making improvements for my test. There was even a time where I couldn’t afford to pay upfront for my lessons etc and instead of not caring Jonathon asked me if I would like to pay half now and half at a later date (obviously pre-arranged between the two of us) he is a very good instructor and knows exactly what he is talking about! I honestly cannot recommend him and thank him enough! I passed my test and now my wife is doing her lessons with him. Thank you for everything JJ!

Negative experience: He is a crook!! PLEASE PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY AND DONT BOOK. I did a 2hr lesson with him (he requires you pay upfront) then found out mid lesson he was going on holiday for a whole month and wanted me to rush all my lesson in 2/3 weeks. He has a 48hr cancellation policy which will leave you liable to pay but he will cancel your lesson with less than 24hrs notice. After he cancelled my lesson leaving 2 weeks before his month long holiday i decided i didnt want to proceed and rush all my lessons. This is when he switched on me and told me to get the police involved torecover my money. Long story short. He refunded half of my money paid for 10 lessons after only doing 2 hours with him then he blocked me. He is a crook and i will be taking him to small claims court. Please please please stay away from him. He is rude, unreasonable and will steal your money.

Fantastic experience: I have never had prior driving experience before I started with JJ, so to pass it my first time with only 2 minors and only 30 hours of lessons is a massive achievement. The way JJ teaches is effective with high standards so that anyone will pass first time. Always on time or early when it comes to lessons. Everything was explained very clearly which allowed me to pick up all manoeuvres very quickly. When it was time to do my test I was very confident in myself and was not nervous at all. If you want to be confident that you will pass your driving test, I would highly recommend JJ to anyone! Thank you once again!

Fantastic experience: Hello everyone Let me first start saying that this is the best when I say the best instructor ever! For years I’ve always tried to get my license and could never do it because all the other instructors I had I don’t know but I always felt they weren’t as helpful or didn’t show me the proper way. Luckily I found JJ, I done a two week intense course with him and I passed it straight away. I can assure everyone, if you want your license go with him, he will get that for you he will teach you everything and also making sure you become one of the best and safest drivers. One big thing about JJ is that he won’t give up on you and will honestly help you in every way possible.
