Fantastic experience: Great driving instructor, helped me out so much when doing my lessons

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Ged to anyone and everyone learning to drive. He is extremely patient and can accommodate all levels of confidence and experience. When I started learning I lacked confidence and was a very anxious driver. Ged helped me to feel more comfortable behind the wheel and his fantastic teaching methods instilled confidence and allowed me to eventually enjoy driving. Ged is really lovely too, so I would 100% recommend choosing him for driving lessons, it was well worth every penny and I don’t think I would have continued learning if it wasn’t for Ged. I passed my test first time, which Ged was able to get me within 3 weeks at no extra cost. I now feel confident and excited to get on the roads, thanks so much Ged⭐️

After being scared of driving from my first instructor at 17, starting up driving lessons again with Ged instantly instilled me with a confidence to drive that I never knew I even had, and he helped to build it up every lesson by having confidence in me, keeping the lessons relaxing and friendly, and being firm but fair when necessary (no shouting!). Fantastic experience: ***LONG POST ALERT*** I myself have been driving for many years and decided to help give a younger family member a kick up the bum and encourage him into doing his lessons. He had done a few lessons in the past but never clicked with his instructors and only did single sessons with them. I did my research and contacted a few local instructors. We needed to find a decent sized car so that his 6ft 3" frame would be comfortable in the driving seat and big enough for his legs to be able to stretch out - when searching photos I found a lot of instructors have tiny cars. All I can say is as soon as I messaged Ged - I knew he would be the perfect guy to teach him. Ged replied to my email early the next day as it was late on when I enquired. He was quick to respond. He was very helpful when I explained the situation and listened to our needs and requirements. I knew that there would be a waiting list as he is very popular (plus the Covid backlog of learners) - I prebooked in for a slot a few months down the line that was suitable for Ged and also for us to get the funds together. As there was going to be a wait of a few months, I thought what better way than to count down to his lessons - than do his theory test. We booked it in advance (around 6 weeks). This gave him time to learn his theory books (I am old school and like a physical book) and he used the apps to do practice tests too. Eventally his practise tests were PASS, PASS, PASS. We knew he was ready and he was very happy when he went and passed his theory as it was another task ticked off. When he started his lessons he now had an advantage - he had already passed his theory before stepping into Ged's car. I explained from the start that this would be good, as it meant he was ready for his practical as soon as his instructor felt comfortable booking him in for his big day. So now with his theory done and dusted and the lessons under his belt he could be booked straight in for THE TEST when ready! I can honestly say we were all so happy for him when he passed his practical test first time! I knew he could do it especially with Ged's help, guidance and patience. Any bad habits were soon straightened out. He enjoyed his weekly lessons and clicked with his instructor Ged. He looked forward to his lessons as they also had a laugh. Ged is an amazing instructor and a really nice guy. I would definitely recommend booking with him. Without a doubt one of the best - get booking your spot now if anyone is thinking of having lessons in the New Year. Thanks for everything you have done Claire :0)

In 3 years I wasn’t able to regularly take lessons but in that time Ged helped build confidence so driving became a habit. He gave me so many good tips and taught me how to deal with the situations, he doesn't just teach you how to pass he teaches you how to be a good driver and deal with any type of situation. He also understood that I got really nervous and anxious with the whole driving process and helped me a lot on this to give me the confidence I needed to pass the test on the 1st attempt. Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend Ged enough. After having my confidence knocked by a previous instructor, Ged was quick to rebuild it and progress my driving faster and further. He is dedicated to producing the best quality of new drivers and has the patience of a saint - he understands the level you’re at and knows exactly what to build on. He is also very easy to get along with and to talk to, i have never been afraid to ask questions (even if they may be silly sometimes) to which Ged answers them thoroughly. I can confidently say I would not have passed my test without his guidance, and my learning experience with him has been enjoyable from start to finish !

Fantastic experience: I had initially started learning when I was 17, but stopped due to moving for university etc. at the time. Fast forward 11 years later and I was recommended Ged from my house mate. He taught me in the way that really worked for me, taught me out of bad practices i'd been taught wrongly from my previous instructor. Taught me the basics I didn't even know which laid the ground work for all later lessons. The format of when various parts of driving were introduced was always at the right time, never felt under any pressure and always made me feel confident that i could do it. Also worth mentioning that Ged was really great to chat too throughout lessons, which I also feel is important alongside the teaching. I ended up passing first time and I can't recommend enough. ☺️

Fantastic experience: I would recommend Ged to anyone just starting out driving or like myself, wanting to change instructors due to average teaching. Ged taught me out of any bad habits or poor techniques that I had been taught previously and coached me the right way in around 18 lessons. He also spent his own money to book test slots in advance for me so that I didn’t have to pay until my test day was set and because he had so many slots booked it meant he could interchange who took which slot which would have allowed me to take my test again sooner than normal had I not passed first time. He was very good at explaining things and getting his point across as well as understanding my thought process whilst driving and correcting or tweaking anything so that I could improve faster. A very polite down to earth guy as well. 5 stars ⭐️
