Fantastic experience: Amir was an extremely helpful instructor who always properly spotted and reminded me of mistakes I was making. With only four lessons, he got me through my test on short notice, with only 3 minors, and in Belvedere test centre which is the centre with the lowest pass rate in the UK. I couldn’t more highly recommend Amir, Moynul and any other instructors at the school.

Fantastic experience: I had a refresher driving lesson with Raja after 8 years without driving and he was absolutely brilliant. I was nervous and felt like I’d forgotten everything, but he focused on restoring my confidence at the wheel which was the key to reminding me how to drive. I probably made more progress in one lesson than I would have done in several with another instructor. Would strongly recommend.

He accommodated classes as per my schedule and even did early mornings to make room for lessons as my test was approaching. Always on time, very clear instructions. Negative experience: Highly would NOT recommend this instructor or driving school. They have a strict 48-hour no cancellations policy with no exceptions for illness, that is never mentioned upfront. (Which is ridiculous in these COVID-times!) I had a very high fever and body aches the day of my first driving lesson and asked to reschedule in a timely manner (in the morning when I first woke up feeling ill for an afternoon lesson) and he agreed, but NEVER mentioned he would charge me to reschedule. I was trying to do the right thing by not getting him sick as well, but was only told he was charging me after my first actual lesson was done when I was trying to schedule my second one and he said I’d have to pay more money if I wanted that second lesson. So that meant I paid £180 for a two hour lesson (that ended early). Also, I highly recommend those with foreign licenses who need to get their UK license not use this school as the instructor acted constantly annoyed that I had previous experience and knowledge! Take your money elsewhere!

He is an amazing instructor and gave me the time and the patience that I needed, also made sure that I followed and understood the rules. His car is also very well maintained and he showed me some very useful tips on utilising the car features to get better results.

I have to admit that I’m not the best driver but Raja helped me feel comfortable on London roads and taught me all the skills I need to drive confidently. Unlike some instructors, Raja was okay with me using my family’s car for the practices, which was good because I could also practice in own time with my family. I would highly recommend having Raja as your driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: Raja at St John's Wood Driving School is someone who instils confidence in his students. He wants you to succeed! I have been driving with Raja since this February. Although our lessons got interrupted due to lockdown, it was easy to get back into driving in July with a good foundation. Raja's methodological approach worked well for me. He is not afraid to let you make mistakes in order to learn. Thanks to Raja, I not only felt well equipped ahead of my test but also prepared to take on my independent driving. Fantastic experience: I found Raja after reading the reviews his previous students had left online. I hadn’t driven in over 10 years, since the day I passed my test. I was expecting to start from scratch again and take months of lessons. The first lesson Raja had to go through the pedals and features of the car but by the 5th lesson we were doing roundabouts and motorways. Raja is an excellent teacher - very patient and encouraging. I am a much more confident driver now than 10 years ago - after 5 lessons I joined a car club and drove by myself around London a few times and it felt like the biggest achievement. Thank you Raja!

Fantastic experience: Raja is a very good instructor. He teaches in a way that is hard to forget. It is not the typical book way. He uses stories and metaphors that is easy to remember and drills them into you. Raja is on time and uses the full two hours too make you practice and learn driving at the same time. When I went to give my test Raja instructed me to go for the test alone with the examinar. At first I was nervous and didn't think I could drive without him sitting next to me and guiding me each way. Soon after I started my test I realised that I could hear Raja's voice in my head instructing me to check my mirrors, indicate on time, look at the speed limits, etc. Very very good instructor!!! I passed my test on the first try at Mill Hill Test Center!
