Fantastic experience: Just completed a 3 day C1 training course and test with Metcalfe’s driver training and passed 1st time. None of this would have been achievable without the knowledge and understanding that Andy gives to you throughout the whole course. Cannot credit Metcalfe’s highly enough and would recommend to anybody looking to improve their driving skills. See you in the near future for my class 1

Fantastic experience: Brilliant driving instructor. Andy’s teaching style is great; he is calm and patient and has a great sense of humour. The training is 2 x 4 hour sessions over two days and a hour or 2 before the test, so it was much better than a lot of courses that cram everything in in one day. Passed my C1 first time, thanks Andy!

Fantastic experience: I recently took my class 2 test with Andy Metcalfe’s where I passed first time! Can’t fault Andy at all, He was clear, Helpful and very welcoming. He fitted me in to suit my schedule which was really beneficial. I had travelled down from Penrith in Cumbria, and it was definitely worth the drive considering the first time I drove a lorry was the Friday and I passed on the Tuesday. Can’t recommend enough. Excellent advice throughout with multiple breaks to perfect your driving to a very high standard (through feedback and examples). Would not hesitate booking this company again if I had to do things all over again.

I completed a 10 hour C1 license driving course with Andy over a weekend. 5 hours Saturday, 5 hours Sunday and my test on the Monday which I passed with 0 minors! Fantastic experience: Fantastic bloke, I did my C1 with this fella, the vehicle itself is fantastic to drive, Andy (the instructor) is very patient though at the same time is stern when you make mistakes (so that you know not to repeat the mistakes) I would recommend Metcalfe driver training to anyone and everyone wanting to do either their car test or C1 test. I failed my test 3 separate times with another company but with Andy I passed first time training with him so it shows!!

Fantastic experience: Brilliant driving instructor. I passed my C1 driving test and had Andy teaching me for 18 hours. Andy is a driving instructor with many years of experience under his belt which clearly shows in his lessons. Being an independent driving instructor meant that Andy was able to fit me in during some times where other driving instructors would not be working. I was taken on a variety of roads ensuring I had maximum exposure to all areas I would come across as a driver. All questions I had he was able to answer.
