Fantastic experience: THE BEST driving instructor ever ! I started off driving with a different instructor but it didn’t work out. I hated and dreaded driving lessons and felt like I wasn’t getting any better…. Until I booked with Ron. From the get go he made me feel comfortable and calm and told me there was no pressure at all and to take my time. He is so patient when it comes to nerves and mistakes and will never make you feel like a bad driver. He is a natural teacher and is always more than happy to go back through something or explain differently to help you understand. I also cannot forget the jokes he comes up with, honestly not a lesson went by where I wasn’t crying of laughter. He has the biggest heart and is also a really great therapist… always listening to the gossip I have too Would give him more stars if I could !! Fantastic experience: I'd like to thank Ron for not giving up on me even though I've been a difficult student, he's always got the best jokes in town and really makes you feel at ease whilst driving. Fantastic experience: I started learning to drive again after a 8 year break. I really lucked out finding Ron. He's an absolutely excellent instructor and just a really warm, kind human being. I could technically drive when I started with him but I was very anxious about driving and struggled with getting in the right state of mind. Ron's calm approach and sense of humour really helped me to relax when I'm behind the wheel and to trust my instincts. I'm really glad I passed my test but I am genuinely going to miss the hour a week driving around with him!

Fantastic experience: Passed first time! Ron is easy to communicate with and very calming, I enjoyed every lesson even though I was very nervous to start with! He pushes you at the right pace, makes each lesson different and will go back over anything you need, even provided diagrams and visuals when necessary to help. I needed some Refresher Lessons because I had not driven for some time; his style of teaching is brilliant and after 10 minutes behind the wheel I felt completely at my ease. I felt that he quickly assessed the issues that needed addressing-basically self-confidence and a bit of practice at busy roundabouts and spent time driving around having practice. Negative experience: Worst driving instructor ever. He was my driving instructor told him I had my test in a month, he told me to cancel cause I was going to fail. I actually passed. Few years on and he’s still causeing problems on the road, not signalling, parks where ever he wants. Simply can’t drive himself.

Fantastic experience: You will be hard fetched finding a more honest and geniuine driving instructor than Ron, he was first class from the start to the end, confident and inspiring and moved at a pace which suited me. I passed my test first time and exactly when Ron recommended I put in for it. Many thanks, highly recommended ,

Negative experience: "You can't do your test on Wednesday so go on line , phone up , get another car or your going to lose your money. You are NOT taking your test on Wednesday in my car" Thanks Ron, you left it almost a month before sending that treasure of a text message (that's literally a quote, even down to the grammar and capitalisation) to my brother. This after you've repeatedly turned up late, cancelled or simply never turned up at Edward's expense in what I assume is to accommodate another student. Ed got to pay over £800 for the privilege of this level of unprofessionalism whilst you told him his driving was fine during the lesson, you then had the audacity to tell my father that his son isn't "the fastest learner". Is it because Ed is the last member of the family to take his lessons so your stream of money from this household was about to dry up? Is that why you dragged it out for so long because the gold goose was about to die? By the way a 60% pass rate isn't something to brag about. LEARNER DRIVERS BEWARE, DON'T SPEND YOUR LIMITED FUNDS HERE.

Fantastic experience: Ron Godolphin is the most patient and encouraging instructor ever. I had no confidence after 11 months of lessons with another instructor and so decided to change to see if it made a difference. Ron gave me the confidence I needed in myself and I also had a brilliant time. He's funny, friendly, his explanations are clear and I always felt safe. Now I have PASSED (1st Time!!!! today), I am looking forward to doing my Pass Plus with him. If you are nervous Ron is the guy you're looking for. Can't praise him enough!
