Fantastic experience: This has to be the best present I've ever had. What made it special was the whole team at The Phil Price Rally School. Lots of driving, tuition, tips, excellent venue & facilities. Worth every penny for the day in mid Wales. Thanks to John, James, Elwyn & Nicky for really looking after all of us there today!

Great lunch included. The timings of the day were really well done with hardly any time sat around and lots of driving time. Great video footage from the cameras too. Really enjoyed, thank you!

Fantastic experience: Guaranteed to put a smile on your face! It's a great experience to try out, the staff are knowledgeable and give you the confidence to really floor it! I got lucky enough to go on a wet day so spent the day sideways - a grin that went ear to ear! It does seem expensive, but all you need to do is lookup the costs associated with the sport to understand it's a fair price!

Fantastic experience: The best there is. My husband did the rally school 20 years ago and again in the summer with our 18 year old son. If anything it’s even better now than before. Just book it. Thank me later.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant day out quite expensive when you are taking turns with 9 other people but I'd imagine it's not a cheap place to run Organisers do everything possible to get you enough turns driving if a car breaks they're all straight onto fixing it.should probaly mention when booking its very difficult to access in a lowered/sports car but you probaly should expect it anyway Would defintly go again

Fantastic experience: Brilliant staff, setup and format for the day. There were 3 cars for the group with plenty of time driving and not having to wait around for too long. The forest stage is class! Highly recommended, 10/10

Fantastic experience: Having grown up watching WRC as a kid, and played Colin McRae rally for many years on the Xbox this was an absolute dream experience. The whole team ran such a smooth operation and made everyone feel so welcome. They’re all incredibly talented. The fact that you are let loose in the cars by yourselves to start with is fantastic, and then you learn as the day goes on. The full fat Impreza on the rally stage is one hell of an experience and the high speed passenger ride is mind blowing. Probably up there with the most fun you can have with your clothes on. 10/10.

Fantastic experience: Last month, I came from the Netherlands to attend my rally experience day I had booked several months in advance. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to arrive to Knigthon via train. Jon from the rally school was kind enough to allow me to hitch a ride in and out of the Rally school. The day itself was top notch as well, I also really appreciated the extra help. The people that work at phil price rally school are extremely kind and passionate about what they do, and as a result of that I had a fantastic day there. I hope to bring friends when I return in the future!

Fantastic experience: A properly amazing experience! The day ran like clockwork and was exceptionally professional. The staff were very friendly, and Julia coordinated the day very well and provided non-stop tea and coffee! James, John and Rob were very good instructors, with lots of knowledge and bags of patience. Above all else, the experience included a huge amount of driving in a selection of vehicles and tracks. This truly is a must for anyone with an interest in cars!

Fantastic experience: Wow! I've been on a lot of track days over the years doing a wide variety of motor sports, but none of them came close to this. It's a great setup, with really friendly staff and instructors. You get plenty of time behind the wheel to practice and be coached, so by the end of the day, you really feel like you've learnt a lot. The main track is where you spend most of your day in a rear-wheel drive Subaru, learning how to prefect your drifting techniques on a muddy and slippery surface. Then in between this sessions, you're also out on the main rally route, with the instructor - sometimes he's driving, then you get a turn behind the wheel. It's the only experience I've had where you're really encouraged to push the car as hard as you can. "Keep pushing" and "trust me" were the 2 main phrases from the instructor as you fly around the track at much faster speeds that you'd normally be able to manage. I really wish I'd gone for the video option for this part alone - it would have been well worth it. The passenger session towards the end of the day on this route was the icing on the cake. It's unbelievable how fast they go, yet still are in complete control of the car. If you feel you've been let down by other similar experiences, then I'd strongly suggest you give this one a go...you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Not really one to leave reviews for good days out but I’ve got to say that yesterday was one of the best days I’ve had for a long long time. John and his team are an absolutley stellar bunch, facilities are great and an all round brilliant trip out. Top tier banter and honestly could not recommend it enough to anybody. Thanks to everybody there for such a good time and as much as I hate to say it as don’t wanna boost your egos, I’ll be back. Love to you all xo

Fantastic experience: I was given a ladies day experience at Phil Price Rally School as a Christmas present and took part on June 1st. What an incredible day! From start to finish the experience was exceptional. The staff are so friendly and helpful, giving you a full brief at the start and whilst you wait for your time in the various cars and activities they are always checking if you need anything. The driving experiences were absolutely fantastic. You spend so much time driving, either by yourself or with an instructor if you want, and the drives round the track at rally speed with the professional is just unbelievable. Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic

Fantastic experience: I think this might be the most passionate, committed and talented team of instructors running any racing/rally/experience school, anywhere. The progress that everyone made through the course of the day was so impressive to see - starting out being sent out on our own at the beginning of the day, with the instructors watching every session and taking notes, so they could jump in the passenger seat with us now and again and provide the right level of feedback/tuition. Most of the group of 9 I was a part of demonstrated some small slides with corrections on the first run, and by the end of the day I think we were all able to correctly drive modulating the car's angle mostly via throttle control and a little steering, including transitions fluidly around the full course. Should mention this all happens in RWD converted mid 90s Imprezas, that are setup beautifully and are so forgiving to drive. And if you pop a tyre it's no bother, barely held up the day at all for any of us. And that was just the 'training area' - the longer genuine forest rally stage was a totally different prospect. A detailed and varying speed sighting run with pauses for discussion from the instructor James (who has 15 years experience, yet approaches his craft as if it's his first year still full of enthusiasm and bespoke detail relevant to each driver) shows us areas to look out for, techniques to employ, so our sadly only ONE run round the forest stage can be maximised for fun and conducted safely. Big thing to mention - the 4wd Impreza you drive on this stage has dual controls of steering and all pedals for the instructor, which is a masterstroke for safety and for trust. James only used the controls on his side twice on my run, allowing me to get into some situations during my run, and only saving me when it was absolutely necessary to prevent an accident, so I was definitely the driver of the car, and he was my unbreakable safety net. That forest stage is simply the biggest buzz I've ever had in a car. Having driven multiple karts, cars and competed nationally in circuit racing for several years prior to this, honestly nothing compared to the intensity that is thrown at you when you're read pace notes (simplified style, but still definitely enough info) and firing around that forest stage flat out well into 4th gear at high revs. It is INTENSE. That 4wd Impreza is fast everywhere, especially surprising in the corners when the fat tyres bite down to the bedrock, it's not far off a feeling of dry tarmac by that point, very surprising. Thank you so much to James, John, Sara and Julie for creating such an incredible experience day that's also totally comfortable and sociable. Surely impossible to spend £400 on anything more memorable that's driving related.

Positive experience: The day was great had lots of tea and coffee made for us thanks to the young lady and the instructors where all good and helped where they could and the drive in a pro car was great and then to top the day sat passenger in the pro car was a great ride all was a good experience will go again.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing day today at phil price rally school, We were really looked after so well and it’s well organised Endless tea & coffee , guys on the track gave great tuition , alway smiling and happy regardless of how many times having to attend to the tyres after we rearranged going off track, Then to be taken out by John over the full rally stage was icing on the cake ! Highly recommend to anyone wanting this experience

Fantastic experience: Unreal day! Me and 9 friends booked a full day experience 8 hours with food and drink included. Probably the best thing we’ve ever done as a group. Loads of driving in multiple rally cars, white knuckle passenger lap with a pro rally driver on a rally circuit on country roads & a time trial competition at the end. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Great day from start to finish, no time wasted and straight into it. Very minimal theory which meant more driving time. James, Bert, Marc & John were all very friendly and accommodating. No pressure, just lots of welcome advice and general all round fun. Best part was the 4WD experience with James driving and being a co passenger. Bert! (John) and Marc gave great advice in the Rear wheeled cars. John the owner was a great tea maker and gave us some good places to mountain bike and go for food in the beautiful surrounding area. A word of advice if you think I’ll get a 6 berth motorhome right to the top you may struggle! Fortunately the guys they’re kind enough to let us park at the bottom and give us a lift up. Would recommend this experience to anyone, what an awesome Birthday present.

Fantastic experience: I went with two friends last Friday, and what a fantastic experience. It's brilliant sliding the RWD cars around in the practice area, before going for it in the 4WD drive car after lunch. Then you'll get a passenger lap later in the day to show you how it's really done. I was grinning the whole time. It's a full day, and you get absolutely loads of seat time, I think it's great value for money vs other driving experiences and the instructors really encourage you to go for it when sitting along side you, which they will do all day if you like. Would recommend paying for the video recorder, it's very easy to use, and you'll definately want the video of your driving the full stage in the 4WD car. Brilliant, brilliant experience - throughly recommended! Thanks again to the team for making it such memorable day.

Fantastic experience: I've just come back from my 6th time at Phil Price, and it's been a fantastic day as always. My last time was 10 years ago when Phil was still with us so this was my fist time visiting since John took the mantle - I can wholeheartedly say he has upheld Phil's legacy brilliantly while also putting his own spin on things; an example being the use of in-car cameras, rentable for the day or per session. A fantastic idea which I took them up on, and downloads straight to your phone! Another 5 star day, and I cannot wait to come back for the next.

Fantastic experience: Great high speed fun day out. Well organised and full day of driving. Beginners and experienced drivers will enjoy the day as the instructors guage your level and provide tips to improve or go at your own pace (instructors can be with you throughout too). Very much enjoyed the day and would highly recommend it.

An opportunity to drive a rally stage with encouragement to really give it some. A fast lap with a rally driver on a stage which has left my face hurting from smiling so much and laughing at the capability of the driver and car. A once in a lifetime experience. I cannot recommend this day enough.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing time doing the full day rally experience. Loads of time behind the wheel, and the full stage run in the 4WD car was something I won't forget. The whole team were great and made sure you got as much as you could out of the day whilst having a lot of fun too. If you're thinking of booking - don't hesitate!

Fantastic experience: There's a reason this is booked up so far in advance (although there is a postponements shortlist).... it's absolutely fantastic! I went with my two sons having booked pre-covid. Travelled night before and there's some great localish places to stay over (B&B The Old Vicarage, eat at The Stag at Titley) ready for 9.00am start. That's a briefing first and then out to their "practice paddock", a kind of loop of eight, with marked with tyres. Unlike other places which run a "taste" of rallying, this is the real deal. In total we were in a group of 8, novices to improvers, with three cars on the go, so very little standing around. Just enough in actual fact. John and his friendly crew guide and demonstrate, but you'll have many laps on your own in the cars... rear-wheel drive Subarus. Meantime there is a full on, short rally stage... jumps, scary drops, hairpins and a straight where (I think) Tomi Makinen holds the record speed (130mph). You'll go on a recce lap in a hot 4WD Subaru, then drive yourself with an instructor and there in NO holding back! If that doesn't scare you enough then John took us on a demo run driven by himself and that is a whole new level! We had the time of our lives! I wanted to add criticism to balance the review, so here it is. On the safety briefing, John should have warned us that if we grinned all day, we might get stuck like that. The day after and we're still grinning! Thank you to your whole brilliant team.

Fantastic experience: This lovely oasis of a place is fantastic. Set in beautiful countryside with great driving instructors, super cars and plenty of driving!! They couldn't of been nicer or more welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend them and we will be going back as soon as we can.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely cracking day here for my husbands 40th b day present. All of the staff here were lovely, nothing was a problem, they went out of their way to make things extra great even taking my kids for a quick lap as they had been so good. So glad i plucked up the courage to do a passenger lap too while i was there, definitely an experience we would all recommend, my husband thoroughly enjoyed himself. Big smiles all round, thanks Phil Price team its been a blast.

Fantastic experience: We had a fantastic day at the Phil Price Rally School. We had so much fun learning how to slide the rear wheel drive cars around the muddy track. Taking the 4WD car around an actually rally stage (and then being driven around at high speed by John) was just amazing. The instructors were all very friendly and helpful and helped make the day as fun as possible.

Fantastic experience: Who could fault a day here? Was an amazing experience that puts a smile on your face from the first moment you get in a car....on your own! I'm no petrolhead but felt improvement in my drives throughput the day, as did everybody on the course. The guys all looked after us brilliantly, it was relaxed, fun and just a little element of competition at the end. But the highlight has to be doing the rally stage as passenger, at speeds that render you speechless. Thanks to John, Phil, James and everybody else involved in making this a day that I promise you will NEVER forget!

Fantastic experience: My partner booked it for my 30th birthday. It was delayed due to covid but the staff were more than happy to honour the voucher under the circumstances. The day it's self was fantastic, many hours in the cars. Great approachable instructors and staff were very friendly and made a perfect cup of Yorkshire tea. Would recommend to any car or rally fan or just someone looking to have a go at something different. Thanks again to the team!

Fantastic experience: I bought this as a birthday present and was a spectator for the day. It's a brilliant day out even if you're just watching. The people driving get plenty of time in the car and loads of tuition of the guys. I'd highly recommend this place and all the team are a great bunch

Fantastic experience: Amazing day was quite worried at the beginning but shouldn't have been ,they are there not to scare you. Learnt some good skills hopefully I won't need to use them. Brilliant qualified instructors . Yep I would go again well worth the price .

Fantastic experience: Great first taster of rally driving at Phil Price’s school. You’re straight out in a 2WD rear wheel drive Impreza to get the nerves out of your system before going out on a few laps with an instructor before then swapping over for some instruction. You’ll go out on the rally circuit in a 4WD version during the day too (loved hearing the turbo whistle!) with Phil as your co-pilot (don’t assume you know where you’re going!) The rest of the day is then tailored to your preferences when it comes to time in the car on your own or with an instructor. The passenger ride gives you a taste of the immense skill of the pros and capabilities of a group A car before you round off the day with some friendly competition. Good amount of car time throughout the day with excellent instruction. Dogs are allowed but not in the ‘club house’ so I’d recommend leaving them at home if the weather is poor.

Fantastic experience: Superb day. Fast paced day with no hanging around. Lots of driving individually and with instructors. All instructors were excellent with how they handled all levels of driving. Phil and his team including the lady who supplied us with food and drink all day, provided an outstanding day. The drive with the instructor who drove the blue Subaru was worth the cost of the day on its own. Truly an exilerating experience.

Fantastic experience: I have just come back from an exhausting weekend at the Phil Price rally School and the Yamaha off-road experience and what a weekend it was ! The Phil Price “Valley” Rally School is so well judged including the drives in the various Subaru Imprezas and the “hell” ride in Phil’s evil blue WRC lookalike car made the whole thing a petrol head Nirvana! A brilliant day out with really lovely people and a great lunch (and the nice weather helped)! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
