Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Adrian enough! He supported me in building up my driving skills and confidence, giving clear feedback that we worked on fortnightly. Adrian was incredibly patient and supportive, adapting his teaching to suit me best. I had a great time during my lessons and can only say thank you!! :)

Fantastic experience: Karl took my daughter on with only a couple of months until her practical test. She gained confidence after every lesson and went off on the day knowing exactly what was expected of her, passing first time after only eight lessons. We can’t thank him enough and highly recommend.

So cool, calm, clear and collected and super organised and accommodating around tricky school timetables. Particularly perfect instructor for the perhaps more timid learner. My daughter thrived under Steph's tuition and I feel very confident being driven by her.

Fantastic experience: I recommend Jess who was very helpful in finding lesson times. As a shift worker I couldn’t guarantee the same time every week and she made it work. Passed on my second go and helped calm my nerves. I feel although I was a slow learner to pass, I got lots of Road experience and am a better driver for it and for real life driving .

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend Jess enough! I’d had several bad experiences with driving instructors and had general anxiety to begin with so confidence was very low before I found her. Jess has helped me build my confidence over the last year or so and I passed my test today - which I never thought I’d be able to! Whether its coming up with new coping ideas for nerves behind the wheel or recommending Driving anxiety courses, her super calm & matter of fact approach does wonders for confidence! She is so incredibly calm! Very grateful I got to work with her :)

Fantastic experience: Rachel is simply amazing! I was a really nervous driver and had absolutely zero confidence that I could ever pass my test. Rachel is a natural teacher and adapts her teaching style to suit the learner. Rachel is very calm, friendly and knowledgeable. Lessons are booked in with ease and understanding and Rachel is very punctual. Rachel always made sure to ask me what I would like to do each lesson as well as discuss what she felt I needed to do / learn next. I passed my theory and practical test first time, I have Rachel to thank for that and will be always grateful! I cannot recommend Brookes School of Motoring and Rachel enough! Thank you so so so very much!

Fantastic experience: Karl has taught both my daughters, Charlotte passing her test this week. He has been excellent throughout, giving the girls calm and confident instruction. I highly recommend him to any young driver.

Fantastic experience: Having had little success with driving instructors in the past I was worried about how much I would improve with a new instructor. However, upon getting lessons from Karl I noticed a fast improvement in my driving ability. I think this fast improvement is due to Karl’s extensive experience and his ability to notice your weaknesses and improve them. Now I have passed my test and feel confident driving on the road. Fantastic experience: I had Karl as my driving instructor and he was very kind and patient with me throughout learning. He was a brilliant driving instructor which i would recommend. He taught me very well and i passed very quickly.

Negative experience: I had Karl, he was a terrible instructor, he shouted at me and started swearing at me for not releasing the handbrake fully, and then when i went to cancel my further lessons he has already cancelled them without letting me know. Do not use Karl! This review is true, Karl swore at me multiple times, and was blatantly rude, and offensive.The below response does not excuse this behaviour. My review is not fuelled by anger of him not letting me take my test, as he claims, it is fuelled by how rude he was.

Fantastic experience: Karl taught me to drive and he was excellent in all of his instructions and guidance which led me to pass 1st time. He was detailed with his instructions and was always at hand to answer any questions I had (even if I thought they were stupid he made me not worry about asking them) He was also very happy to help me practice anything I was nervous about, especially leading up to my test. I really enjoyed the lessons and I learnt something new every lesson. All the lessons build up to being able to pass your test and thanks to Karl’s help I felt very well prepared for the day of my test. Thanks again Karl!

He was easy to liaise with and offered very flexible arrangements which worked really well for us. He gave the girls practical advice and guidance which will stick with them for life and make them safe drivers going forward. I passed my driving test yesterday, this is all due to Alans great teaching style, relaxed, understanding and friendly, Alan taught me how to drive and got me test ready, and Jess was the icing on the cake, Jess stepped in and took me to do the test in her car, she got me to correctly check my mirrors just in time and I am grateful. She even last second found a way to get a neighbour to help her out so she could come 40 mins to pick me up the morning of my test when my ride fell through only 8 hours before. She communicated each new stage very clearly, was super positive and encouraging and if I made a mistake would quickly move on and show how to improve rather than be critical. Fantastic experience: Georgiana (George) was absolutely fantastic. So kind,caring and really really good with nervous drivers, she always made my lessons fun and enjoyable and was so encouraging. Negative experience: Took years to pluck up courage to get lessons. They never answered any of my emails, booking form or phone calls. Tried to make contact several times but nothing, not even to say fully booked or something. Very very poor business model and has left me angry. To rub insult into insult, they sit outside my house on a daily basis on their rounds. Unreliable. There are plenty of other friendlier companies out there. Go with them. This is not at all how you should treat people, Karl.
