Fantastic experience: Gabor is an excellent instructor. I’ve been driving for 25 years in US and wanted instruction to get a UK license. I learned many new skills and Gabor helped improve my driving. He’s got a great teaching approach (I am also a teacher so I can appreciate his approach). I particularly liked how he can explain things very clearly and break down the logic and reasoning behind the various rules of driving. On top of that, the lessons were fun, I enjoyed the experience. I recommend very highly.

Fantastic experience: As someone who has had multiple instructors in the past, Gabor is without a doubt the best instructor I have come across. He is professional, well informed and strategic with how he carries out the lessons. He taught me good driving habits through explanations, examples, diagrams and repetition. I was able to pass my test with just 1 minor fault in 5 total lessons. I would totally recommend Gabor to everyone and I already have to my family and friends, he knows all the routes you may take on exam days as well just overall a real helpful guy !!

Fantastic experience: I've been learning on & off for over 5 years, covid restrictions, unreliable instructors & general lack of confidence. I started learning with Gabor at the end of November. Pretty much back to square one. Last week I passed my test at the first time of trying with 4 minor faults. His lessons are A1. Very patient, calm & explains everything clearly. You will become a really good driver under his tuition. I feel ready to get behind the wheel of any car & drive on any road. He always pushed me to book lessons & contacted me every week to check my availability. Not many will do that. Not only that he is a top bloke, good laugh & very easy to talk too. Fantastic experience: 11/10 driving instructor! As someone that has struggled with severe anxiety, at 30 years old, I decided to take on the challenge of trying to learn how to drive again (!) after more than a decade. Gabor has made it easy; he is calm, professional, personable and will take the time to make sure you really understand the foundation of driving and go beyond to make sure you're driving in a safe and practical way. He's always on time and it was easy to communicate my schedule and book in my lessons with him - and it doesn't hurt to be driving around in a Mercedes to boost your confidence! I feel really at ease with him as my instructor and look forward to passing my test soon! EDIT: PASSED FIRST TIME! Gabor, you’re an icon. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Negative experience: Poor communication

Negative experience: I have never met such an arrogant person in my life. He never answers his phone and responds to messages after two or three days. Anyway, we arranged it somehow. Even though it was late, I hired him to give lessons to my son. after the first lesson they agreed for the second one, but my son's school moved his exams to the day of the driving lesson, while my son was at school. I called him myself and explained the situation, he rudely said why did you tell me at the last minute, I apologized and asked him when he could do the next lesson, he said he would get back to me and he never did, so my son texted him and he replied two days later in an arrogant manner and said unacceptable words to my son. Don't waste your money and time on this man!

Fantastic experience: I do not often do reviews but Gabor is someone who I would recommend anyone who wants to learn how to drive a manual car, he is very professional and has many many years of experience as a driving instructor so it doesn’t matter what kind of struggle you have with learning he will adjust his way of teaching to help you. Every lesson I’ve had with Gabor has always been my favourite, he doesn’t just teach you how to prepare for a test but helps you prepare for when you start to drive independently after the test which is very important. He also uses his Mercedes A class (20 reg) which is very luxurious to drive in compared to the other cars you’d typically drive during a driving lesson. Thanks to Gabor I was able to pass my practical driving test with first attempt.

He teaches in a way where you look forward to your lessons, if a mistake is made he talks you through what happened and how to improve moving forward and never in a condescending or patronising way. If you need extra help with a particular manoeuvre for example, he will tailor the lessons to help you work on that. Fantastic experience: My refresher driving lessons with Gabor were fantastic. It had been a while since I had been behind the wheel and so I was rather nervous but Gabor made sure to understand what exactly I was nervous about and how we could address that. We set targets for each lesson to make sure I was getting the most of each session and Gabor was more than happy to take me further afield so that I could get comfortable with my soon-to-be new commute.
