Fantastic experience: I took a few lessons with Mr Gordon Richards in Farnborough and I have to say it was an amazing experience. He was very patient with me and understanding that English is not my first language and I am very grateful that today I passed my exam from the 1st time.

Fantastic experience: Gary is a great driving instructor, he knows the area very well and will share tips and tricks where learners tend to fail so he makes sure you’re comfortable with tackling these. Had good communication and no problems throughout our lessons. Passed my driving test with only 1 minor with him!

Fantastic experience: I have been learning to drive with Russ since the summer and from day 1 I felt a genuine connection with my instructor. Never patronising and always professional, Russ made me feel at ease behind the wheel. As an older driver I had built up a stigma with learning so late in life. Russ was brilliant and never pushed for more lessons than I needed. I passed first time with only 1 minor and I attribute this to Russ’s teaching. He’s also a bloody funny guy! Thanks so much buddy.

Fantastic experience: I had Russ as my instructor he is amazing, calm and supportive. He helps you to understand the problem that you may face while driving. Not only he is a good instructor but also good entertainer he entertains you with his fabolous jokes. On the day of my test Gordon took me to test centre before my test started he helped to stay calm and encouraged me. I am very thankful to Russ and Gordon , they both were very very patient with me. Fantastic experience: Russ and Gordon both are amazing instructors and very professional. I meet Russ just 15 days before my exam and I knew I have a lot of driving issues, especially the way I steer the car, Russ sorted it in just 2 lessons, and he worked hard to make sure I get passed. He makes sure anyone going for the test from Webb's driving lesson he/she should be driving as per the exam standards. On my Exam, Russ couldn't able to make it bcoz his medical conditions he sent Gordon to take to exams who is a nice person and gave me lots of positivity which help me to Pass my Test. I highly recommend to take driving lesson from Webbs.

Fantastic experience: Gary Holmes was a great instructor, he is relaxed, patient and made every lesson enjoyable. Would definitely recommend!

Negative experience: Gary wasn't a very good instructor he would turn up a few mins late a lot of the time and take me back a few mins early, he would never make up these minutes either. He never recorded my progress, therefore, he never really knew where I was at, he would ask me what we did last week when I'd get in the car for my lesson, feel like he should have been suggesting to me what we will be practicing, no direction. He told me I'm getting better each time, then when I had two months off to practice in my own car, I booked my test as was so confident and then went on a lesson with him. He told me after that lesson I never seem to progress and he doesn't know what else to do to teach me. I was just getting used to his car again as id been driving my own car for 2 months solidly every night. I stalled a couple of times as I was used to driving my car, felt like he was just picking on me and it made me nervous I went home and cried all evening. Knocked my confidence big time. Don't know if he was annoyed I booked to do my test in my own car, I have an early test, and Gary didn't want to get up early so had no choice my new instructor has no issue getting up early to come with me, bless him. Lovely Guy David Star Driving School. I drive fine in my car and all my friends and family say I'm test-ready. He put me off driving, felt horrible. He made me feel stupid and incapable. Just think it was due to his teachings I wasn't progressing, I now have a new instructor and he is recording what I'm doing each lesson and suggesting to me what I need a little practice on next time so I'm improving a lot with each lesson and he is really happy with my driving and says ill be ready for my test at the end of the month. Gary speaks to you like your an idiot if you do something wrong. Didn't like how he made me feel in my last lesson so I haven't arranged a lesson with him since. Not a good instructor.

Fantastic experience: I had Gary as my instructor with Webbs. I’m really glad I had Gary after a previous instructor knocked my confidence a lot. Gary is always so friendly and patient, would recommend so highly to anyone :)

Fantastic experience: Thank you very much Webbs! I just passed my driving test (manual, with just 2 marks). My instructors were: Matt (unfortunately no longer teaching as far as I know) and Gordon. Knowledgeable, patient, calm, reassuring… making you feel confident behind the wheel. Gordon checked my knowledge of the car and the questions that examiners may ask during the test. I usually had my lessons in the mornings. But we also had one lesson in the evening with Gordon so I got some experience of driving when it was dark. I definitely recommend Webbs School of Motoring!

Fantastic experience: My Son had to find a new instructor at short notice as test was looming. Russ was fantastic even with 2x short notice test cancellations & my Sons car breaking down the week before the test. Russ arranged 1x 2hr lesson the day before test to get used to a new car & Son passed today with just 3 minor faults. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: I can't thank Webbs school of motoring anymore! I had to find an instructor very quick due to my last one letting me down and not having the availability with a test booked in September! I got in contact with Webbs and I was sooo pleased to get a lesson in fairly quick! My instructor was Russ (he is the best) funny, teaches you the right way, makes you feel relaxed, teaches you how to make it the right way and has the best tips to help support you through your lesson and out of all the teachers I've had i finally felt confident and comfortable. I then had a cancellation test for July and decided to go for it.10 hours of lessons and I actually PASSED my test FIRST TIME and 4 minors! I have wanted to drive for sooo long and had so many gaps and new instructors but this time I was ready and with the help of Russ I felt ready and confident to do this! Thankyou for all your support this driving license really means the world to me. I also want to say a huge thankyou to Gordon as he helped take me to my test he made me feel calm and confident thanks again. If there was a driving school I would recommend its 100% Webbs. IM SO EXCITED TO BE ON THE ROAD :) Ps .... Russ stay away from the cones

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Webbs enough, after having a bad experience with my first instructor I joined Webbs and had Russ as my instructor, he was patient and makes you feel calm and comfortable through telling jokes and through words of encouragement throughout your lessons and he goes through any problems you may face whilst driving whilst making sure you understand how you can improve. On the day of the test, I had Chris take me and had an hour lesson before the test, he was patient going through the last few bits I may need to know before the test, I ended up passing with only one minor. A big thank you to both Russ and Chris for all your help in preparing me for the test, I could not have passed without you.

Fantastic experience: Matt is one of the best instructors out there! Probably the most calm spoken person, and has amazing energy to be around when you are driving. Can’t thank him enough!

Fantastic experience: I could not recommend Gordon and Webbs enough. Webbs were amazing, helped me from the start with any issues I had during lockdown and Gordon is the most calm, nice and super patient instructor. Enjoyed every lesson and passed the test on my first attempt as well!

Fantastic experience: I had lessons a few years ago with a couple of different instructors but struggled a lot as I couldn’t find someone I was happy with. I felt as though I was going at a very slow pace and not getting anywhere. Recently, I started having lessons again- my friend recommend Mat as she had just passed her test with him. I’ve now been having lessons with Mat for over a month and I feel a lot more comfortable with the idea of driving, he makes me feel more relaxed and at ease during my lessons. I would definitely recommend Mat to anyone that struggles with nerves/anxiety, and he has taught me so much in a little space of time- I feel as though I am really progressing at a very good pace!
