The Driving Instructor

Fantastic experience: Had a small amount of driving experience prior to my course, so I opted for 30 hours with Mark. He’s a brilliant instructor, very considerate, patient, professional and informative. I felt safe and at ease during my lessons. He is quick to spot areas you need to improve on, and will ensure you do it again and again, as many times until you nail it every time. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the result I wanted in my driving test, but that was due to silly faults of my own made in the moment, and this was absolutely not a reflection on his teaching. He helped me go from what felt like a hopeless case on Monday, to a confident and test ready driver on Friday. It was a brilliant week, he’s a great guy, and thanks to his instruction, I feel fully confident to redo my test at the next available opportunity. Will definitely recommend!

Mark is really patient and professional which really helped build my confidence quickly, asking me questions about any mistakes that came up which got me to reflect and think about what I should do next time to prevent that mistake from happening again. Fantastic experience: After struggling to find driving instructors due to backlog and all, I luckily stumbled upon Mr Houston. He is extremely punctual, clear while giving instruction, clam and very helpful. Best thing about Mr Houston was he never shouted or criticised when I made mistake, but would ask me to stop the vehicle at safe place, take his handy whiteboard and draw a diagram and explain what I did wrong and what I should have done. I would strongly recommend Mr Houston to anyone who needs a driving lessons especially those who are new and have never had their hands on steering before. Needless to say, I passed my test from barrow test center at first attempt. :) Best wishes. Bidur M

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Duddon Learners to anyone thinking about learning to drive. Taking driving lesson for the first time at the age of 41 felt very intimidating, but I'm pleased to say that with Mark's excellent tuition, I was able to enjoy the process and to pass the practical test on my first attempt. I found the semi intensive course (weekly six-hour lessons) a particularly effective way to quickly become familar with the basics and work towards the test within a short timeframe. There were also plenty of opportunities to get to grips with different types of roads beyond the test area, which means that I'm already feeling confident about venturing further afield. Thanks again to Mark for making the whole thing such a positive experience!

Fantastic experience: Learning to drive with Mark was very good. He is very patient which helped in situations that it was needed. I last after only 12 lessons and this is because of Marks amazing teaching.
