Fantastic experience: I have recently taken tests with Trev and passed my test first time. Trev was incredibly helpful and rapidly improved my driving. I’d had previous bad experiences with driving instructors and so was quite panicked about some aspects of driving and Trev quickly improved my confidence and made driving so much easier.

Fantastic experience: I am 25 hours into lessons and find lessons with Trevor to be good, he constantly pushes me to make sure that I am improving every lesson and if I make a mistake he makes me aware of it (even if repeated) rather than just letting it pass by so I would not do the same mistake in the driving test.

Fantastic experience: I've only just started with Trevor, and hes been very nice and patient in all of the lessons. He makes you feel really comfortable behind the wheel and is super friendly. All and all he is a very good instructor and is extremely helpful through the entire process, being completely honest with everything. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: My son has had around 22 hours of lessons so far and has enjoyed his experience to date, I'm planning on taking my son out to gain more driving experience in his own car around his lessons with Trevor and Trevor offered me the opportunity to join them on a lesson as I'm a little anxious about taking my son out. I feel much more prepared having sat in the back of the car during a lesson. Trevor has given me lots of helpful tips and hints so I feel more confident about how to support my son in preparation for his test. Negative experience: In my experience, I had two lessons with Trevor Duncan. His older reviews express what I felt. Unprofessional and disrespectful. Yelled the moment I made my first mistake. Worried about his car not my wellbeing. Compared me to drivers on the road that were fully licenced. There wasn’t a moment he wouldn’t stop berating me about my mistake, going as far as bringing my dad into it. ‘Did that car stop there’, ‘Would your dad stop there’. We were on a countryside road- I could not leave, and he was aware of this. I believe he used this vulnerability to violate his manner as an instructor. He called me a liar; said I was making things up when I explained why I made the mistake. Would tell me to calm down to stop me from retrieving my phone as I'm sat in the passenger seat on the way back. Had to leave at a red light because he was looking to argue. In the first lesson there were signs I ignored- he kept prodding his finger at my arm to describe how an engine worked. Would say things that had me having to be the bigger person and ignore him. Asked intrusive questions about my personal life. In the end he texted a apology, ‘Sorry if you thought I was having a go at you’. So why not apologise to your customers face in the moment and treat them with the respect they deserve. An instructor’s credibility is reliant on customer satisfaction.

Fantastic experience: Trevor has helped me so much with my driving. I have just passed today with 3 faults. Before I started driving with Trevor I was nervous and unsure on the road. He has helped me so much with my confidence driving. He has been patient and very helpful. I would highly recommend Trevor for driving lessons!

My first lesson was a 2 hour lesson which gave me a real in-depth induction and a proper experience. Fantastic experience: Trevor is a fantastic driving instructor! I’ve only had 9 hours of lessons with him so far and my driving ability has progressed considerably in that time. He is very patient, explains things in a lot of detail and talks you through everything one step at a time. Monitors progress well and always tells you at the end of the lesson which areas you need to work on. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Before finding Trevor I had three previous driving instructors. My confidence was at an all time low and I felt sick to my stomach at the thought of getting in another different car and starting all over again for the fourth time. However Trevor helped me regain my confidence in the space of two lessons and I was immediately excited for my following lessons covering more than I ever had before. Trevor pushes you to improve as he encourages you to drive your best and get your moneys worth out of every lesson. I'm now doing an intense course with him before attempting my first practical test, its tough and the pressure is on but he's really supportive and every lesson I feel more confident and closer to my goal.

Fantastic experience: I have just started out driving and I feel confident and safe whilst driving. The lessons are made to test you and make the most out of the lesson but also not pushing you too far if you don’t want to be.

Another good thing about Trevor's driving school is the way progress is measured using a booklet, and goals set for the next lesson. Trevor makes sure get the most out of every lesson, gives you opportunities to try things independantly and grow confidence, and no time is wasted.

I learned better ways to do parking manoeuvres and became proficient very quickly with his clear, concise explanations. I passed first time here, which can be difficult for expats. Fantastic experience: Trevor is a very calm, intuitive and friendly instructor who is willing to go the extra mile to help his pupils. As a parent I knew I had to help my daughter gain confidence by taking her out but I was nervous about doing that. Trevor let me accompany them on a lesson and made sure I had the confidence and knowledge to be able to take her out myself. He made sure I was able to replicate his instructions and showed me what to look out for. It has helped a lot. Would thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Am still under his instruction but am learning at a solid rate. The instruction is very personalised and I appreciate his instruction style, which is simply honest. If you're doing well you will move on but if you need more practice he will tell you and constantly offer more and more advice, even down to the minute details.

Fantastic experience: I started with Trevor after learning to drive on a small island. He pushes me hard to learn new skills and break existing bad habits, in order to prepare for UK roads. Trevor varies his routes and encourages you to drive as independently as possible, keeping you out of you comfort zone and promoting skill retention. You never feel as though time is wasted during a lesson.

Negative experience: Wouldn't recommend. I find a review further down says everything. He made me nervous, hate my driving and scared of making a mistake. Always kept threatening that "This dashcam records everything that's said!" I passed my test first time with a different *cough* better *cough* instructor.
