5DAY South London Intensive Driving Courses

Negative experience: This is a complete scam. I have had to report the service to Action Fraud and I would strongly advise all the other reviewers who have been scammed out of money to do the same. After attending my course my course instructor and driving instructor both ‘left the company.’ Following this my emails were ignored for months on end. When they did eventually reply I was told an instructor would contact me. I never received any call from this person who I only found out had mysteriously ‘left the country’ after 6 months and having to ask. Another instructor allegedly called me whilst at work though this person never gave their name or where they were calling from when I answered and asked that they call back later as I was at work. They did not. How can a person take a test after doing all of these prepaid lessons if the instructor and car you learnt in are no longer available? They even had the audacity to try to scam me out of more money by asking me to pay more money for lessons with a new instructor due to the length of time that has elapsed despite this delay of now over one year being entirely their fault and not my own. Why should I fit the bill? Beyond this I have been told over the phone they cannot transfer me to any complaints department because they ‘do not have one.’ They ask people to review after the 5 day course and lessons in a very forceful manner prior to getting a pass. This company are extremely shady and I would highly recommend that anyone avoid using this service and take their money to a reputable local instructor.

Negative experience: ABSOLUTELY DIABOLICAL EXPERIENCE WITH A LEACH OF AN INSTRUCTOR WHO INTIMIDATED A VULNERABLE GIRL WHILST MAKING HER SEVERELY UNCOMFORTABLE DURING ENTIRE COURSE. I am now having to take the company to court because I have had to have medical assistance and legal assistance in getting something done. DO NOT USE

Negative experience: Tried to SCAM me out of £1233. Lied on the phone about me confirming a date with the email form and then refused to give me a course date. Kept getting passed around their local and national customer service and sales lines (of which they all have conflicting stories of why the can't give me the course I paid for). Then after a week they just went cold on me and KEPT THE MONEY! Once they have your money good luck getting anything from them, and expect lots of lying to scam you! Managed to reverse the charges with the credit card company. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. My experience is with 5DAY South London (of which customer service is managed by 5DAY nationally so putting this review across all their major 5DAY courses so everyone can avoid these horrible, horrible people!).

Negative experience: Do not use this company to learn how to drive as you won’t get far. Myself and all of my classmates I did this course with have been left without tests or passing four months after the course. They do not organise a test for you, they do not ensure you are driving within 5 days like advertised, their customer service is absolutely horrendous. They are generally ripping people off and getting away with it due to small print. There are plenty of other places that offer a pass within 5 days just not this place. Please do not waste your money here there is no chance of getting it back. I really regret spending my money here I’ve had to book more lessons else where as the quality of the lessons were really poor. DO NOT BOOK HERE.

Positive experience: A tough but very well-structured and rewarding course where you will learn a lot in a short space of time. I wasn't quite ready for my practical by the end of the five days, so decided with my instructor that I would continue doing lessons with them until I was ready. Unfortunately, in the days and weeks that followed my instructor failed to follow up with me, so I have had to look for another driving school where I can continue my lessons.
