Fantastic experience: Simon is an amazing driving instructor and human being. I got my driving license at the second attempt and, being 41, it was not an easy task. Simon is very professional and, at the same time, makes you feel comfortable and relaxed since the first day you enter in his car. He has always been supportive and accommodating with my needs. English is not my mother tongue and Simon has shown a lot of patience in this regard. He does not only care about make you pass the test, which he will do, he also care about your future safety and the safety of the people who will drive around you, which is the most important thing. I could not imagine a better driving instructor than him. I highly suggest you to learn driving with him!

Fantastic experience: I don't mean to sound like a broken record here, but if I could rate Simon more than 5 stars, I would. I passed my test this morning (22nd July 2024), at 9:07am, with only 4 minor driving faults under his guidance. It feels like such a short time ago when I was stalling every maneuver, drifting all over the road. But every single fault was met with warmth, jokes and gentle redirection. He never once raised his voice, never once gave me any indication that he was disappointed or worried, and it was the confidence he gave me as a result that I believe to be a pivotal factor in how well and smooth my test went. A few weeks ago, thinking about passing my test and being out and about on my own felt really freeing and exhilarating. And don't get me wrong, it's still an incredible feeling. But I will miss my sessions with Simon. He is a wonderful, truly unmatched instructor, and I can't wait to see him out on the road! Thank you Simon, I'll miss you man

Fantastic experience: Simon has a very calm, supportive teaching style. Booking lessons was a simple process and lessons were always based on what was required for my daughter to progress. Unfortunately, my daughter sustained an ankle injury 7 weeks into lessons and had to stop driving for 7 weeks. Simon was very understanding of the need to postpone some lessons and quickly got her back up to speed. He also arranged for an earlier test date as soon as she was ready. Thanks for giving her the skills to be a safe driver.

Fantastic experience: Simon was a very good calm instructor who helped me from as soon as i turned 17 up until i passed. i can’t thank him enough for how much he helped me get ready for my test and ultimately guiding me to pass first time. he never got angry or annoyed always just understanding of the mistakes i made and helped me to improve to make sure i didn’t do them again, he was amazing.

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t have asked for a better driving instructor, as Simon is a very encouraging, patient and friendly. I was very nervous driving to begin with, but Simon really helped me, and gave me the confidence and skills that I needed to pass my test. Fantastic experience: The time taken for me to pass was hindered due to Covid-19 followed by university. However, Simon was consistent in making sure I had enough lessons in the gaps between university term times to ensure that I passed. Fantastic experience: I was pretty nervous about learning to drive so late in life (42). Simon immediately put me at ease and had me doing more in my first lesson than I ever expected. He is friendly, knowledgeable and above all super calm. He's very good at going over a situation on the tablet and breaking it down for you so you can improve on your weaknesses. I just passed my test at the first attempt. I would thoroughly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: I finally passed my driving test! All thanks to Simon he was with every step of the way whilst learning. I took a year to learn how to drive including failing my theory a couple of times and failing my first test but he remained patient and determined with me that I was going to get it. I would recommend him to anyone learning to drive he is encouraging and will get you to finish line of passing your test. Fantastic experience: As someone who had long gaps between each cluster of lessons due to going away for uni, I always managed to get easily refreshed once I was driving again. That’s thanks to Simon who is easy to get along with, encouraging, but most importantly - great at identifying your weaknesses and taming them before that inevitable test. I’ve become much more confident behind the wheel and just passed my test on the first attempt, so thanks again mate!

After just 10x 2 hours lessons I have just passed my driving test, first time. Fantastic experience: Simon is an outstanding driving instructor who is very knowledgeable, friendly and patient. He genuinely cares about his students and is highly committed to helping them succeed in driving. Simon provides excellent teaching in lessons, and is always eager to signpost students to additional resources to help them consolidate their understanding. He also gives great advice on all areas of driving, particularly relating to safety, techniques and driving tests. One area Simon particularly excels in is supporting nervous/anxious students, and those who find driving more difficult. Simon taught me from my first lesson through to passing my test, and I would very much recommend him to anyone learning to drive.

Fantastic experience: Started with Simon pre-pandemic and got cut off for a year, came back suffering from long covid symptoms, so low stamina and brain fog really slowed my learning. Despite this he was very patient and thorough, always on the ball, and helped me notice and work on my weaknesses. His extensive knowledge of the area and test routes had me fully prepared for my test. I ended up passing first try, and I know I wouldn't have managed it without him. Can not thank him enough for all the kindness and help!

Fantastic experience: Simon is an excellent driving instructor. I have had lessons on and off for years with various instructors in different locations and Simon is no question the best. He is very personable and really easy to talk to and put me at ease straight away. He gives very clear instruction and useful tips and gradually reduces his instruction as your experience and confidence grows so that you are ready to drive on your own. He also has a great library of videos and examples which he shares with you to support your practical learning. I am so happy to have now passed my driving test but will really miss our lessons which were always a highlight of my day. Very highly recommend Keys 2 Life!
