Fantastic experience: I booked several lessons with Tahir to get my skills back up to standard after failing my first driving test the first time nearly ten years ago. Within 10 lessons, I was ready to go and passed! Tahir’s calm and personable approach was really helpful for building my confidence as an independent driver on busy London roads, and he was always happy to tailor each lesson to any specific requests. I was incredibly nervous about learning to drive in my late thirties, but Russ proved to be the perfect instructor for me, not only helping me build my confidence but also to passing my test first time. Fantastic experience: My experience with Tahir was great. I came to him with lots of insecurities and bad habits (from being a driver in Brazil for many years). He was so patient and repeatedly instructed me the important things, class after class, as many times as necessary until I was feeling more confident about driving and not making the same mistakes as I was in the first classes. We practiced and focused on the things that I was not so confident about, and every time I got a wrong right he would celebrate with me and encourage me to keep going. After a month of weekly lessons, I managed to get my PASS with 0 minor faults! I can assure you he’s 100% committed in helping you get there and I’m sure you’ll have some fun while learning how to drive. Five stars, no doubt!

Fantastic experience: I have been an experienced driver but from a completely different kind of traffic (Istanbul). Tahir (Russ) helped me to adapt to the rules of driving in the UK, road etiquette and the reversed side of the traffic as well. That arguably involves a more challenging process of unlearning bad habits while forming new ones. I was able to pass on my first attempt, which is golden these days, for one can book a test six months ahead at earliest.

Russ was very patient with me, and taught me how to drive with control. Fantastic experience: I've had very good experience with Russ. He's a patient instructor and very easy to get along with, always a pleasure to have a lesson. I went from zero experience (literally) to passing my test first time. He's honest and tries to make sure you're not overpaying him. On more than one occasion he would tell me that I didn't take as many weekend lessons as he expected to so he asked me to pay him less for the next set of lessons. Definitely an honest guy. Can easily recommend.

Negative experience: WARNING IF YOU WANT TO BOOK A LESSON WITH HIM. My daughter started taking lessons from him but he then he use to start the hour lesson late and finish it early. He has done is for a while before I mentioned it to him but already paid for 10 lessons when my daughter decided she doesn’t want to continue with him so we had to book her lessons with another driving school. He already owed her 4 hours but didn’t even bother refunding it. Although i texted him so many times he ignored it. Not an honest person and his not given you a complete hour. Be careful when you book a lesson with him and never pay in advance if anything goes wrong he doesn’t refund your money.

Fantastic experience: I have used a couple of the big brand instructor schools in the past and came to Russ having two historic practical test fails. I’ve now finally passed my test following Russ’ coaching and would recommend him for being straight talking, offering clear instruction and being a decent bloke. In addition, Russ was flexible in that my work schedule changed and he was able to accommodate my adjusted timetable. I am glad I was his very first test and pass of the new decade!

I had so much fun learning from him and passed my test the first time with zero faults after only three lessons with Russ (though I was converting my Canadian licence to a UK one so I wasn't a brand new driver). He is 100% up-to-date on all the apps available, he uses digital tools to help describe his points, he's very knowledgable about the area and took me all over the various test routes. His style of teaching was diligent yet encouraging - he never made me feel bad about myself, he always pointed out the things I did well, he was clear and easy to understand, patient, and best of all, he really believed in my abilities. Fantastic experience: I had never driven on UK roads before and, after learning with Russ for just about 27 hours, passed the test on my 1st trial! Russ is a very experienced, patient and kind instructor. He always arrives on time and never makes me feel awkward during lessons.
