His instructions and directions whilst training were spot on, very easy to understand and put into practice, even though at times I had lapses of concentration Paul pointed out my mistakes and pushed onwards. Negative experience: Contacted Paul to arrange class 2 training. I was told it would consist of 16Hrs of training followed by a test, spread over 4 or 5 days. When I arrived, Paul said I would only be driving Monday & Tuesday & my test was booked for Thursday morning. I was also told id be doing my training with another guy, whom I assumed was an instructor working for Paul. Spent Monday & Tuesday with this chap who was a nice guy but turns out his main job is nothing to do with trucks & he was just helping Paul out as Paul was busy instructing 2 other guys on their class 1. The only time I had any proper instruction from Paul was when he got in the cab an hour before my test & ripped my driving apart. That totally shattered my confidence, low & behold I failed my driving test just 5 minutes in. In fairness Paul acknowledged I hadn't received all the driving time id paid for & offered to pay for my re-test £350. Unfortunately its not easy for me to get time off work mid week and I also felt a bit uncomfortable with the way Paul was with me in the cab before my test. For me its £1100 down the drain and I've now got to find another company who will instruct me properly, before I take my test again.

No time wasting, I just rang Paul a week ago and asked when I can start and he said next week. Not like other schools..” ohh we are busy but I promise I will call you back…” (and never ring me back..) he is busy..working from 6am till 6-7pm.. ! Not like other instructors.. so if you want to learn how to drive large vehicles just ring him and he will help you with everything from the beginning to the end to pass on your test.
