To be able to drive a forklift, forklift training is required and is mandatory for health & safety. Once you have completed your training course you will obtain a forklift licence that can be presented to your employer upon securing employment. We at Safety 1st forklift training provide counterbalance training courses for warehouses, reach truck training courses for warehouses, and training courses which are AiTT accredited throughout Northern Ireland Becoming a qualified forklift operator is a 3 - 5 day operation and requires the operator to have the knowledge to ensure that they can operate a forklift safely. A trained and certified operator provides forklift Refresher courses usually only one day
