Fantastic experience: For me, Leroy is the best driving instructor in England not just London. I’ve had multiple instructors and they don’t even come close to his standard of teaching. Passed first time with 10 hours of driving. If you’re not doing lessons with Leroy you might spend a fortune elsewhere trying to pay cheap! 5 stars all day long.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with Leroy, he is by far the best instructor. He builds your confidence and gives you the skills exactly what you need for passing your test. He takes special care to ensure you are on the right path and does not waste time for months but instead when one is ready, he will put them forward for test. For anyone who is starting a journey of learning how to drive, i would suggest to get Leroy on board to give you the right direction and skills to become a qualified and safe driver. Negative experience: Wasted a year driving with this money hungry instructor who did not care about me passing at all. All he cares about is his BMW. We would waste lessons going to petrol station, dropping by his house for him to collect things or for him to have a cigarette break - and I would not get the time back!!! HE IS A SCAMMER + UNRELIABLE. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I had refresher driving lessons with Leroy after 10 years of not driving. Leroy was an excellent instructor and immediately put me at ease. With just a few lessons my confidence with driving came back and I’m back to driving again. Leroy went above and beyond - even taking a couple of lessons in the car I would be driving going forward. My boyfriend is now taking lessons with Leroy and has made really quick progress. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: The best! I trained with trojan for a few months before my set test date and he improved my skills drastically. I previously had just under 20 hours before meeting Leroy and my skills wasn’t near intermediate level. After my first 6 hours with Trojan I had already massively improved - with his use of care and attention to your skill, he finds ways that you can receive the information nicely enough to digest and put the help into action. He gives you the ability to think about your moves and for yourself whilst, being patient. Whatever you wish to focus on in your lesson, he gives you the space and free will to do so and will keep you well aware of your driving development. It’s nice having someone on your side who actually wants you to pass rather than remain a pupil. Not forgetting he’s down for a laugh, keeps your spirit up and allows you to remain engaged.

Fantastic experience: Before I came to Leroy, I had a bad experience with my previous instructor and so I was fearing the worst when I was looking for a new one. However, my friend recommended me to him, and I trusted his judgement. I’d like to say, the trust was more than rewarded because Leroy is simply exceptional. From the very first moment I stepped into the car, I felt welcomed. He is very friendly, and he makes you feel very relaxed in the car, giving you a nice environment to drive in and helps you ease your mind. One of the many unique features about Leroy is his ability to encourage you once you feel like you’ve lost confidence and guides you through tough situations to aid your needs and gets you driving in a state of free flow. Another thing I’d like to mention is the way Leroy prepares you. He makes sure you are inch perfect in every aspect of your driving, and he does this by making simple methods for things like manoeuvres in order to aid the learner, making complex tasks look very simple. The benefit of this is that he makes sure you are 100% test standard before you go to your test, aiding your confidence even further. With his guidance, I received 0 faults due to his methods. Overall, I think that Leroy is a very special and unique instructor. In footballing terms, I’d call him world class. Genuinely, I don’t think theres a better instructor out there and I was very lucky to have him. You should choose Leroy and Trojan Driving School if you want an elite learning experience which perfects your driving.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant instructor and a top bloke. Passed my test on one of the hardest routes with only one fault! Can’t thank Leroy enough, now have my full license thanks to the help of this driving school and his meticulous attention to detail even on some of the harder routes for the test. A must have instructor if you’re doing your test in Mitcham!

I had 2 instructors before and I wasn’t confident in my driving skills. Their teaching methods meant that I didn’t make much progress in the 50+ hours that I had done. When it came closer to my test date my past instructor refused to take me. However, Leroy kindly accepted to take me on with minimal time to my test. He drastically improved my driving skills and confidence on the road. Leroy’s teachings made me above test standard within a few weeks. I passed my test with his guidance and wisdom. Negative experience: Terrible service he had done lessons with me failed to turn up to some and had to rearrange then he failed to communicate with me for the lessons and then made me miss my practical. Do not recommend if you want someone reliable.

Fantastic experience: Massive thanks to Leroy! I decided to learn to drive at 33 having done some lessons previously when I was 17 but no driving since. I’m a very nervous person and struggle with self confidence, but I passed my test today first time thanks to Leroy! I can’t recommend him enough, he’s a very knowledgable teacher with a calm nature and a great sense of humour, which really helped to calm my nerves when driving and in the lead up to my test. I plan on doing some more lessons with him to gain more confidence driving on motorways etc and will miss our lessons when they’re done!

His teachings are what helped me pass in an area I have barely driven in as he teaches you to drive anywhere as well as intensively drilling the common test routes into your muscle memory. He was very professional and understanding. He helped me understand the common mistakes, taught me solid techniques for some of those scary scenarios we all make in our head. Fantastic experience: Leroy taught my daughter to drive and he was absolutely amazing always on time if not early always available and worked around my daughters working hours. He was patient, understanding kind and caring I can’t recommend him highly enough. I managed to get my daughter a driving test on a bank holiday and although Leroy was not working that day he got up early to pick her up at 7.30am to take her to her test without his expertise and experience I think she would of struggled. Book with him you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Leroy is the most superb driving instructor be all round great human being. He is patient, kind and immensely knowledgable. He made learning to drive from scratch an absolute pleasure. I decided to start learning a little later in my life than some and was rather nervous but Leroy’s, constant reassurance, clear and calm guidance and not to mention excellent chat had me relaxed and progressing at speed. Fantastic experience: Just passed my Driving Test on (29/12/21)!! Thanks to the excellent help of my Instructor - Leroy. I had 5 months worth of lessons with Leroy and passed first time!! He was calm, patient, considerate & explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. He was very professional, yet friendly & had sense of humour -- which is much needed when working with me lol. - Leroy is the most professional and patient instructor I’ve ever met, who is really encouraging and supportive and pushes you to your fullest potential. The quality of his teaching was significantly better than my previous experiences with other instructors. Fantastic experience: Tashan is honestly the best driving instructor that I have had. I don’t even know where to start there’s just so many positive things to say about him. Tashan has perfect time keeping and his professionalism is just to a different level. He gives off great positive energy which helps you feel comfortable. Fantastic experience: I want to say a huge THANK YOU to LEROY who helped me pass my driving test (1st time) today. Leroy is extremelly friendly and has the pacience of a saint ! I give 100% for intergrity as well, as i offered to pay for more classes, and he politely stated that it was not necessary as i was ready. Other instructors might have jumped to the chance to make some extra money as they knew i was so nervous. The classes were intense, and because of that i was more than prepared on the day ! Fantastic experience: Leroy was recommended by another instructor, at first I was afraid, but after the first lesson I already felt comfortable, Leroy always pushing me to be the best driver, he showed me my mistakes through my own analysis of the my mistakes, it made me feel confident and made me understand that I really knew what I was doing. For the money you pay, Tash goes above and beyond when teaching, ensuring you get the best out of each lesson. Fantastic experience: I want to just start with saying thank you so much to Trojan Driving School. Professional Private company well established and allowed me the opportunity to learn driving locally, flexibly and at a affordable price. More personally I want to say a special thank you to my instructor Leroy who has allowed me to actually enjoy learning how to drive lesson by lesson What makes Leroy a great and trust worthy instructor (who I have recommended to 1 person already who has also passed) is that he is attentive, thorough and honest. If you are not ready or well prepared to do a test Leroy will tell you. If you need improving he will tell you where. If he thinks you require more understanding he will go above and beyond and give you the extra support you need ie send you videos, links and resources to help you. His attention to detail is appreciated especially in the role of having to meet many clients. Each of my lessons were bespoke and personal to me and what I needed to cover before doing my test. Due to my job being shift work I was worried about not being able to attend lessons however, although Leroy is on HIGH DEMAND he finds time to put you in his schedule. Thank you. After each lesson we always picked up from where we left and he would remember / know what ‘test route’/s I needed to cover ect what roundabouts I hadn’t attempted and so forth to prepare me for my test. Again very attentive A uplifting instructor throughout. Whether you stall or he touches your wheel he will reassure you and make you feel comfortable to continue driving whilst providing you with solutions on how to avoid the mistake in future. His voice is clear/instructive and calming and it is needed when learning how to drive (especially if you panic like I did at times). Leroy is patient and has a positive ora I genuinely don’t think I cannot compliment his way of teaching enough and I can confidently say I don’t think I would of passed as soon as I did in such a short period of time with anyone else! I thought after passing my driving test I would be scared to drive but instead since passing (Monday 12th October 2020) I am keen to get on the road and that’s because I feel confident and ready thanks to Leroy Leroy I cannot thank you enough. Fantastic experience: I am soooooo happy to write my review for the most talented , fun and amazing teacher ever ... Leroy !!! I passed my driving test today with only 3 minors!!! I still cant believe it !! Me Being an extremely stressed and anxious person,I thought I would never be able to drive and have my licence but Leroy helped me built so much confidence in me by being extremely positive and understanding . Leroy taught me how to deal with my nerves while driving and was sooooo patient with all my mistakes, correcting them with so much professionalism. I have had an incredible journey and a fantastic result through Leroy at Trojan driving school. He was always punctual with his times for lessons and provided excellent advice that helped me pass. Fantastic experience: Thank you for being such an amazing teacher!! If you really want to pass and are serious about getting a licence then Trojan is the best place!! I was with a well-known driving school before and even with many hours of driving I still didn't know how to use the clutch. The instructor from that school then advised me to do automatic. After having to take a break I started looking for new school around Mitcham as I had moved closer to Mitcham and found Trojan and within my first lesson, he thought me how to drive manual and took me on the main road when my previous instructor only kept me at the side roads and used 40 mins of each lesson " explaining " how to drive. If your worried about driving a manual or someone made you feel like you can't drive a manual that's most likely because of them being a bad teacher. Leroy has a LOT of patience is very reliable and kind. Never made me feel stupid and always took his time to explain things even if I asked him the same questions many times. I passed my test today and all thanks to him !! He is definitely an amazing teacher!! I don't usually do reviews but nowadays it's hard to find a good an instructor so hopefully, this helps anyone else who is looking for a good teacher. :)

Fantastic experience: I have a european driving licence and many years of driving experience. To get the UK driving licence it was enough to drive 3 hours with Leroy and he prepared me for the test very well so I passed it from first time with no faults at all. I highly recommend Leroy!

Fantastic experience: I am writing about leroy as a driving instructor. Firstly I would like to speak on the flexibility of hours and the generosity of options to pick what time of the day is suitable for you and just right for your needs. Leroy is willing to spend as much time needed for you so you are educated enough to be prepared for the day of your driving test. Of course when starting on the first day of driving lessons, you want a taste of what it's like to drive and be on the road and leroy makes this happen. Once he teaches you the basics of how to operate the car, he gets on the road. He is very clear and understand when teaching different topics involving the roads, the car and signs. In addition to this his pricing is very reasonable and definitely worth the money as you gain a lot of knowledge from how he teaches you and corrects you. Furthermore, when you are driving he is very friendly and avoids making you uncomfortable. One to make conversation and quite laughable. Leroy's aim is to make you as comfortable and make your session as natural to you as possible so it is not a bad experience but rather something to look forward to. An example of how spectacular his sessions are, is that I passed first time when the day of my driving lesson came and I was very confident as Leroy taught me that once your driving the car is yours and they are your passengers. I was able to remember all the I had learnt from him and able to have good conversation with my driving tester as myself and Leroy did. So nothing negative to say about him but positive responses.

I was a beginner, he helped me to improve my driving skills in a record time and today I passed my test with 0 faults!!! He doesn't waste time so every lesson was very productive and I felt myself more confident after each hour of driving. Leroy is very flexible with lesson timing, he can do lessons at 11pm as well as at 5am, he's ready to help 24/24.
