Fantastic experience: A fantastic complimentary half day out at the Porsche Experience Centre. The staff were friendly and attentive both within the restaurant area and on reception and the day was meticulously planned out. We had our own table, the refreshments, drinks, 3 course meal, was fantastic and extremely timely. As soon as we sat down each time after a good stretch out in the car and requiring refreshments, they were there! The driving consultant that was with me, Ryan Parouty, was also fantastic. A great guy to generally talk too and really helped out in the car. He added to the experience to really appreciate the limits of what the Taycan can do in a number of conditions. Thank you to all who made the experience so great!

Fantastic experience: What an incredible experience! I spent the morning with instructor Michael Vitelli at the Silverstone Circuit learning how to navigate various driving conditions on the specially designed track. Michael was very professional, calm and knowledgeable. He gently challenged my abilities as he guided me though driving in simulated wet, ice and snow conditions. Developing my understanding of how the car responds and deepening my confidence in driving in such conditions. It was an absolute pleasure to spend time with Michael and I recommend highly.

Fantastic experience: Had a great morning session. Conditions were a bit slippery but had a very informative session with my instructor Nick. He was full of knowledge and patience; excellent. Breakfast and lunch was delicious. Will be back!!

Fantastic experience: Great morning at Porsche experience. In turbo s and was disappointed to see that weather forecast was for rain all morning. However, the rain improved the experience. Had a great Porsche consultant in Michael Vittuli who has a great coaching style (surely has a career in diplomacy when he stops racing/coaching). Really took into account what I wanted to focus on. Have done the experience in the dry but the wet really demonstrated how good these cars are. Whilst it would have been nice to see how the turbo launched in the dry, the sheer drama of it fishtailing off the start was probably more memorable. The hospitality was excellent with tasty breakfast, coffee and cake and then a three course lunch. Given the quality of the experience, the catering, the coaching and vehicle preparation this must be a bargain

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic day at the Porsche Experience Centre in Silverstone, driving the Porsche 911 Turbo S with my instructor, Colin. Colin was outstanding, helping both me and my husband gain confidence behind the wheel of this high-performance car. His clear and confident instructions guided us through thrilling activities like the ice hill, driving in Sport Plus mode around the tracks, and mastering the handling and launch control of the car. He also shared valuable insights about various Porsche models. The experience was complemented by a delicious lunch and afternoon tea, served by the hospitable and welcoming staff in the restaurant. Additionally, the centre features a collection of Porsche models, including a classic car, which added to the overall enjoyment of the day. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience. A big thank you to Colin and the entire team for looking after us and ensuring we had a memorable day!

Positive experience: I did this around ten years ago when the 991 was in full swing. I worked in a bike shop and we did a deal for a Porsche guy and he sorted me a track day. Working minimum wage in a bike shop and being a HUGE Porsche fan I was super excited. I’d done a few of the track days where you get three laps in a supercar and always enjoyed them, I was hoping this would be even better. I picked the 4s in manual as my weapon of choice. When I turned up on the day I immediately felt out of place, my £1500 Golf really didn’t look right next to the bling in the car park. We were greeted and taken to the restaurant waiting for the day to begin, this is where it went a bit off course for me. At the time I had no money and was working minimum wage job, I saw the restaurant and food, I was told to pick what I wanted and went in to panic. I had no money and couldn’t afford a £50 three course meal on whim, it took quite a while before I was told I didn’t have to pay for it as it was included. I got seated on my table with my instructor and another chap, although the other chap was nice enough it was made obvious that I wasn’t “on their level”. I was told that 80% there own a Porsche and want to learn how to drive it fast, 19% are press and occasionally there’s 1% like me who can’t really afford a Porsche. After chatting for a while, the other chaps going over their backgrounds I really couldn’t add much, I don’t think they’d appreciate my stories if teen years sleeping under a dual carriage way or in half built houses. When I said I worked in a bike shop the other chap on the table told me I could get a Boxster as they some really good finance packages. At the time I had £50-ish free each month. Once we got in the car the instructor asked me a few questions, asked what I wanted out of the day which was “just drive a 911” to which he rolled his eyes. He then asked if I’d ever lost control of a car to which I replied I’d had understeer a few times going in to corners, this also seemed to annoy him, the fact I knew what understeer was. The instructor was nice enough but for most of the day I was given an elitist vibe and that I was out of my place. It wasn’t deliberate but I kept hearing about “the usual folks” and how “the normal attendees often have more than one Porsche”. I’m not sure if there are many folks who go who are on a tight budget, if there are I really hope they’re made to feel more welcome and included than I was. Driving the 911 was fantastic, the skid pan, the track, the brakes. I genuinely felt I got to experience a dream car. I’m not sure how I should rate my day. It’s a premium product that most will never own, leaving the day I felt quite down, like I had a peak behind the curtain and I was told I didn’t belong. The car, the facilities, the building were incredible, most of the staff were pleasant. It didn’t really change my love of the brand or the incredible cars, if anything it put me off doing any experiences like this again. Since that day I’m doing better in life financially and in the not distant future I’ll be spending around £50,000 on a 911, tops of the list being being the car I drive that day, a 991 4s. Recently I attended an event put on by the East Midlands Porsche club and Porsche Nottingham at Cromford in Derbyshire. I can say the experience was completely different to my day at Silverstone, I was made to feel welcome, everyone there was extremely friendly and I felt no elitism at all. It didn’t matter how old your car or what it was worth, if you were a Porsche fan then you were welcome, Porsche Nottingham were first class. I wish these events would be pushed more for folks who perhaps don’t currently own a Porsche, the friendliness and inclusiveness would definitely create fans of the brand going forward. Unfortunately I can only give my experience 3 stars. It was okay but it could have been so much better.

Negative experience: Apparently there is a new rule / Policy as of July 2024, no visitors whatsoever ........Confirmed in a phone call. Having been a visitor in the past and bought items from their shop, what a shame.

Driving the Porsche to its potential on a track needs to be experienced. The experience center is one of the very few in the entire world and we are lucky to have one in England. Would revisit again.

Fantastic experience: Truly amazing time with the team at Porsche Silverstone. 100% great customer service from check in, to the hospitality staff, and Scott who was my instructor. A boyhood dream of driving a porsche has been ticked off the bucket list. Opted for the boxster S and it lived up to and surpassed all expectations, the time on track was amazing and under Scott's direction my confidence grew and the experience got better by the minute. Problem now is picking six lucky numbers to be able to afford one. Thanks to all at Porsche Silverstone for an amazing time.

Fantastic experience: I had my experience day yesterday, and it was amazing. It was complementary, and I got to drive a similar spec to my Taycan Cross Turismo 4S on my visit, and it was eye-opening what a 2 tonne car can do around the multiple circuits and courses. I'm happy that I got to experience near limit driving in a safe environment, which I'll never do in my own car, and the instructor was amazing with the guide throughs to push the car. The hospitality for the event was also great with both breakfast and a 3 course lunch provided, and the organisers reached out well before the event to get our dietary requirements. Overall, it was an excellent day of driving and hospitality, highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: This is a must try experience if you own a Porsche, thinking of getting one or just to experience a vehicle. You get a flavour of the Porsche customer service and your own dedicated instructor. The tracks are long enough to enjoy the car of your choosing over different scenarios. Breakfast and lunch are served as well. Definitely worth the trip

Fantastic experience: Superb venue. Staff were extremely pleasant and friendly. Waitresses and the waiter were very attentive. Food was definitely spectacular. I was a guest of a participant but the experience was still very worthwhile. Only downside is the lack of directions to the site! Dont follow Google maps because it takes you to a hotel car park! With this sorted it is defo a 10/10 venue.

Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful time with my Porsche experience day organised as a surprise for my 50th birthday. On arrival we were all made to feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble and accommodating. I Was made to feel very special with unlimited drinks whilst waiting to meet my instructor! Whilst I went off to enjoy my dream car, my family were allowed to go to the roof top terrace to see and watch with a view and experience this too. With an hour and half of driving an incredible car, alongside Steve’s guidance on how to drive and handle this exceptional car I, was blown away with how genuine, professional and helpful Steve was. I cannot speak highly enough of Steve. He really made my 50th birthday experience extra special and one I will never forget. A true gentleman! This also applies to the whole staff who welcomed us. The afternoon tea was perfect which we had altogether after the track experience to come back down to earth and share with my family the excitement I encountered. Definitely recommend for any Porsche lovers to book on and have an Incredible experience day. Thank you to all the staff

Fantastic experience: We arrived in our own Porsche eager to learn even more about its true potential The first hiccup on check in was not being told about a lift, I struggled up the stairs which stressed me out but was welcomed by a young lady with a fabulous smile at the top of the stairs who apologised and then showed me where the lift was which was a relief for later. We were sat down and the great day started with a delicious lunch. Our driver Paul was very professional and kind ensuring someone was taking great care of me as I was going to watch my husband and I had Parkinson’s Unfortunately the roof was flooded from previous rain but I watched from comfy seats by the window Afternoon tea was fantastic and plentiful Great work chef(s) and waitresses you all work hard and maintain your smiles and great attention to guests. Fantastic experience: Brilliant from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, thanks to everyone at PEC, esp two patient instructors and also thanks to Steven at Porsche Glasgow for the opportunity. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and great to put a Boxter and 911 GTS through their paces, braking from 80 to zero without holding the steering wheel is something else, as is the random kick plate ice simulator. Only one disappointment and that was having to come home. We will be back. Thanks again.

Fantastic experience: Despite arriving at the Porsche Experience Center in Silverstone to a downpour, the weather turned out to be the perfect backdrop for testing the 911's capabilities on the center's super tracks. The wet conditions allowed me to truly experience the car's handling and grip. My half-day experience began with a delightful breakfast fit for champions. To be honest, I wasn't expecting such a high level of hospitality at a driving experience! The food, drinks, and service were all on par with an excellent restaurant. Michael Vitulli, my Porsche instructor, expertly guided me through unlocking the potential of the 911. During our time together, I gained valuable insights and honed my driving skills. Michael's approach was excellent; he provided constructive feedback and tailored the instruction to address both my strengths and areas for improvement. Choosing the base 911 Carrera proved to be an inspired decision. This experience wasn't about chasing lap times; it was about mastering the art of safe, yet exhilarating, fast road driving in a truly exceptional car.

Fantastic experience: What an amazing day. Having ordered a new Cayman I was invited by the dealership to go to Silverstone and have a run around the Porsche Experience centre track in one of their cars which was pretty close to my chosen spec. I was paired with Keith an ex-Police force instructor who was just amazing throughout the day. A very talented driver in his own right but patient and encouraging as I got up to speed with what the Cayman can do. Highly, highly encourage anyone to take part, particularly when the dealership foot the bill for you! I think my favourite part was the “kick plate” where you drive over a wet track with a hydraulic plate underneath that kicks the back of the car out into a slide and you have to recover. The Cayman is great for this instilling confidence that with the minimum of inputs you can recover very easily and with a smile on your face! Lunch was provided along with unlimited refreshments. Having bombed round the circuit a few times I can tell you a ginger ale was needed! Thank you to Keith and the team. I will definitely be back to do this with my own car and the Mrs at some point in the near future.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant time! We arrived early (before they officially opened) but were met with a friendly greeting and shown to our table for breakfast. Later my instructor introduced himself and showed genuine interest in what I hoped to get from my experience. The car and it’s handling were explained well before heading out on track. Gradually building up the speed on a wet track, feeling the limits of grip while also having a detailed explanation of what the car was doing and why. The ‘ice hill’ next which was huge fun. Experiencing what the car does when the rear brakes traction on a very slippery surface. After a quick coffee break and back out. Using the 2nd handling circuit for some faster driving again followed by some straight track to use the launch control and test the abs. I had such a fun time and learnt a lot about the Porsche 911. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: This was my 2nd visit to the Driving Experience Centre at Silverstone. My first visit was in spring (dry track) and whilst I had a blast, I felt I left with unfinished business in my chosen car (Boxster GTS 4.0) - my driving and cornering at speed just wasn't clicking and completely screwed up the kicker and the skid pan hill ! This time (December, wet/damp track) my instructor, Olly, suggested that as I had been there before, I could skip the briefing and intro and get straight out. By the state of some of the verges, some people had clearly overcooked it at the weekend, so with a wet track, I started slowly. I had the circuit to myself for 30 minutes, which was brilliant. I'd explained to Olly that I wanted to test myself this time and slowly coached me to faster and faster laps, and gave me a huge amount of confidence to really push the car and try to master the art of track driving. I also did 100% better on the kicker and the ice hill ! Lovely food, great staff and Olly was brilliant as my instructor - I can't recommend the experience enough and I will go back one day to try a GT3 !

Fantastic experience: Myself and my son attended a half day at the Porsche Experience Centre at Silverstone and were not disappointed. We received a friendly welcome and were enable to look at a couple of special Porsche cars before being treated to breakfast. A briefing and time on the track followed. My son is an elite athlete and participated in an on site performance assessment whilst I drove, naturally they confirmed he is as fit as a fiddle but nice to have him tested while I was testing the Taycan. A break followed, ending with a very nice lunch, all very professionally prepared and served. Overall the experience did not disappoint, the on hand instructor was excellent and I left with a great level of confidence in both my own vehicle and myself so I can whole heartedly recommend the team, the venue, the experience and above all, Porsche for recognising that people are looking for more than just a car to get them from A to B!

Fantastic experience: What a great day we have had at Porsche today. We, myself and two sons, were invited to join them for a Range Day. Basically a taster menu of most models available. We were hosted by Penny, who went above and beyond to help. We had arrived only expecting 2 of the 3 of us to be able to drive, but she managed to squeeze in one more so none of us missed out. Thank you Penny, really kind of you. Thank you too for keeping us to time, and in the right place at the right time. Not an easy task. It was also lovely to see Sally again, who we had met before at a previous event, driving cars and making Christmas Wreaths!. Both ladies travelled a good distance to get to the experience centre but its clear why Porsche want them there. Great brand ambassadors. We also met Jenny. She was telling us about her sound therapy treatments. Seems a fantastic idea. Porsche could perhaps include it at their events? I'm in if they do! We were accompanied and instructed during the day by Ben, Geoff, Alan and Steve. Thank you for your patience and diplomacy when instructing. I have no illusions about my abilities at the wheel. Thank you for not agreeing, and thank you for your generous, and undeserved, praise. I learnt a great deal, just hope I can retain some of it. Thank you too to Harry in the human performance department. I have very limited performance but did enjoy our time in the lab. To the food and beverage team a big thank you for keeping us so well fed and watered. Really excellent service from everyone we met and great work from the kitchen team. Very tasty food, delivered hitch free throughout the day. We have arrived home feeling thoroughly spoilt. Thank you all. Hope to meet you all again. Oh, cars were pretty impressive too! Fantastic experience: My husband & I had the privilege of going as a guest to Porsche experience centre in silver stone and from the moment you get inside they spoil you by their hospitality. Lovely Roberto looked after us first and from then on it’s been a treat. Highly recommend the experience. Food and services are so tastefully done you feel like you are at the Michelin star resturant. Staff are very caring and experienced. I had a lot of laughter with amazing Ryan,Steve and many more. Thank Porsche for very pleasant full on day.

Fantastic experience: So to sum up yesterday at Porsche Experience Centre Silverstone, in one word STUNNING EXPERIENCE after 90 mins driving the 911 (992 s) I was broken, concentration, muscles in my arms, my shoulders I was shaterred so the afternoon tea following was welcome, dont mind saying I was in tears talking to my wife following the experience about the drive the dynamics of the 911 was truly jaw dropping different handeling modes of the car, yes I more than expected the car to handle welll but the shear power, drive, stopping power was oustanding - launch control was brutal - 0=60 4 secs or just under and the stopping power of 911 hands off the wheel ! - my instructor was a lovely guy called Jurgen as you built up your confidence in the car pushed me a little harder, but speed is not the main focus but driving experience and boy did that come over - what a day!! when I test drove the 911 (992) from my dealer around the local lanes it was truly an expereince, yesterday was on another level, this experence is worth every penny and is exceptional in every respect

Fantastic experience: Wow what an amazing experience I had today in the Taycan 4SCT. Cat was an amazing instructor and gave me a lot of excellent tips on driving the Taycan. Food and drink was also amazing along with all the staff. What an amazing way to introduce you to the Porsche brand and it’s free if the buy a new Porsche, if you haven’t it not too expensive for what you get. Thank you Porsche and The Porsche experience team.

Fantastic experience: Great experience! Learnt the capabilities of one of the greatest cars ever made in the form of a 911 GTS, very knowledgeable staff especially PDC Simon. Topped off with great food, if you get the chance definitely go and do it!

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic morning! I booked onto a half day experience in a GT4 as it’s always been a car of interest and I have been very keen to get behind the wheel of one. This experience did not let me down, from start to finish the hospitality, food and driving day as a whole was brilliant. I had a great instructor in Ollie which topped off the experience. Fantastic experience: My Daughter bought both of us an experience "day" with the Porsche GT's. We drove x2 GT3's and a GT4 RS in the 90 minutes. What a fantastic hour and a half. Martin & Graham were superb in their knowledge of the cars, their guidance round the tracks and low friction surfaces and in their actual tuition of our driving techniques. From the moment we arrived at the centre in Silverstone nothing could be faulted. The cars on display, the cafe/restaurant and all the other facilities were the best you could ask for. The cars were new and in great condition and we had a wonderful time and will be back for a longer session (if there is one) to drive these wonderful GT RS cars again. Thanks to Martin and Graham and everyone else on the team at Silverstone.

Negative experience: A great day if you can manage to get passed the booking process. I have been trying to book some dates in October and was repeatedly told they aren’t booking so far in advance. Several emails and calls later, no progress with the bookings and now told they are fully booked. I’ve done quite a few of these before and it’s a great day out when you are there but the booking process and service has been dreadful.

Negative experience: Does anyone ever pick up the phones? i've been waiting for 45 minutes.

Fantastic experience: Had a 90 minute session in a 911 C4S. What an amazing time, very educational and extremely fun. I can highly recommend this and I'm already looking forward my next visit. Thank you Porsche Experiance Centre and special thanks to Tim my tutor who was just excellent. I'm still buzzing hours later.

Fantastic experience: Great experience learning about the cars and the systems they use to keep you safe and on the road. This isn’t a track day it’s about learning what these cars offer. Going out onto a skid pan to see how they react was a highlight for me - really interesting to see how the engine placement affects the balance and how the car reacts and what it does to help.

Fantastic experience: Incredible day. Driving the 911 4 GTS hard with great coaching. Learnt so much, refined my drifting and learned more breaking and turning techniques to rotate the car. Huge thanks to Rick - will be back.

Fantastic experience: I visited Silverstone for the Porsche experience today. I can't praise it enough. The food was excellent & the staff were great; nothing was too much trouble. However, I have to give a lot of Kudos to Graham the Porsche Driving Consultant. Graham was superb and really made my experience great. A knowledge, real deal racing driver who taught me so much. Thank you Graham, you are awesome and I will be back for more!

Fantastic experience: I had the Porsche Experience yesterday with Keith and left feeling extremely happy with the experience and look forward to doing it again. Keith made me feel comfortable and calm while trying various driving scenarios that could really relay into driving in real life, I also had some great track time and tips to improve it also.

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience today with my brother! The place is amazing, all the staff has been professional and welcoming. There are different types of tracks and all of them are fun to do. A special thanks go to the most amazing instructors ever, Mr. Simon and Mr. Damian, very professional and friendly.They tailored the experience to what we wanted to do and gave us plenty of valuable information on how to drive the cars safely, whilst also allowing us to push them to see what they were capable of. Overall the experience has been great, funny, and especially useful. Thank you guys

Negative experience: I haven't even booked a date yet and I'm already regretting. I've tried to get someone over the phone so many times to get basic information prio my purchase that gave up. I wanted to book a specific date three months in advance and they told me via email that their calendar wasn't open yet wich I understood. Now a few weeks after, when I'm querying it, they're telling me that it's fully booked! Also, it would be good that they update their website -there's no pricing information for the restaurant neither how to simply book it; such a shame you don't even know if you can add the gift box and key ring to your booking. Not even mentioning how old fashioned the shop site look... I hope I'll have a great time still on the alternative date -when I can finally have someone on the phone

The coaching from Ollie was excellent and I learnt so much on how to control a car in difficult circumstances. I would certainly recommend the experience from the driving to the food. All 5* and certainly worth the money.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic experience! Never ever did i realise that i needed a 911 in my life, but i do now, although i cant quite afford one! My instructor Colin made an amazing day twice as enjoyable. 5 stars all day long.

Negative experience: Whilst the experience itself is great. The response rate for emails is sitting at over 2 weeks. To be clear, that's not an isolated incident, they consistently take forever to reply. Clearly don't have the right infrastructure in place to cope with demand. I've been trying to organise a second visit but have now given up. Embarrassingly poor.

Negative experience: I can see why most people have given 5 star reviews but the experience greatly depends on the instructor you are paired with for the session. The instructor I was given wasn't very friendly and condescending at times. He did mention that he was going through a hard time with his ex-wife and how she was taking the kids away from him so perhaps that explains why. With a different instructor the experience could have been a lot of more memorable.

Fantastic experience: I did the 911 C2S day - my second visit after having driven GTs the first time. With some familiarity of the cars and the various circuits, Colin allowed me to pick the elements I wanted and tailored the day to my desires. What an excellent day! I drove the car in it’s various set ups and learnt a great deal, including how much more difficult it is to hold a drift on the low friction ring than you’d think - thanks Colin for your unswerving patience . For the reviewer suggesting there’s too much instructor chatter, perhaps your driving wasn’t instilling much confidence? Everything I heard from Colin was just about improving my ability and confidence to get more out of the car - if you’re choosing to drive a Porsche, that’s really what it should be about. I went in thinking I might not enjoy the day as much second time around and having aged a bit since the first time but I came away beaming and looking through cars for sale when I got home. Really though, there’s nowhere outside a track that you’d enjoy a car the same, not safely anyway. I’ll be booking on again. I do wish there was a centre more accessible to the north of England though, I’d be tempted to go often.

Negative experience: I was given the 90 minute Porsche driving experience as a gift. Of the 90 minutes out on track 30 minutes were spent parked up listening to the instructor and 15 minutes were spent going very slowly again listening to the instructor. Was quite disappointed to only get around 45 minutes of driving of which only about 10 minutes were spent going at a good speed around the track. If you want to learn about how a Porsche works, this experience is great for you. If you want some fun in a fast car around a track, look elsewhere.
