He is absolutely professional and extremely patient and dedicated. He use to pick me up every Tuesday at 6:30am to accommodate me for two hours which is dedication in itself. He knows how to simplify complex skills into clear and simple instructions which is very important. He has amazing communication skills, excellent knowledge on all aspects of driving and making sure all knowledge is as up to date as possible. We did a few mock tests which he really insured to fine tune my areas of weaknesses in preparation for my exam. Without him, I wouldn’t have passed first time! Top block. Fantastic experience: I was struggling to find the instructor in Maidstone. This school connected me to instructor Andrew. He is one of the best instructors I have ever known. He is polite, calm, patient and teaches well. He explains clearly and makes learners more confident. Thanks to his teaching and efforts, I passed the driving exam. Now I am confident driver.

Fantastic experience: Mukie is the greatest driving instructor I've met. He is a clam and nice person to identify what my driving problems were and then helped me to overcome them. He also went through my problems in detail. Throughout my refresher courses, I've improved a lot of my driving skills. If you need an automatic driving instructor, he's the right person I would suggest.

Fantastic experience: Ellie is a kind and welcoming person, I had no prior experience with driving but Ellie was up to the challenge! quickly after a few lessons I had made many mistakes but Ellie doesn't make you feel bad about it because everyone starts somewhere, and now I have progressed onto a very competent driver and it's all thanks to Ellie highly recommended especially if you have no prior knowledge about driving!!!!

Fantastic experience: My driving instructor was Rostam Rizai and I am truly grateful towards him for helping me to learn to drive safely and smoothly and to also pass the test with only one minor. I also want to say thankyou to the lovely examiner Nicky for helping to remove any nervousness I had before and during the test.

Negative experience: Had daniel teixeria as my instructor he was awful. He would constantly sit on his phone, take call, watch videos whilst i was driving. He would also constantly need to go to the toilet during lessons and we would stop at least twice a lesson where he would leave me sat in his car alone with the engine on in a car park whilst he would leave. One of his mates dneal is also another instructor of kinetic and they would constanly call and meet during lessons. It was a waste of money and i was practically teaching myself as he seemed to have little knowledge and advice to give.

Fantastic experience: Ellie is an amazing instructor she helped me pass first time with only one driving fault. Had loads of fun learning to drive with her! Would recommend ☺️

Negative experience: I had Desi as an instructor. During my lesson Desi did not remain calm and shouted his frustration at me that I should not be on the roads. He took away my confidence and was very horrible when I asked him to calm down. I moved my test date because of this. No support from kinetic either. And they never answer the phone line. I had a new instructor with another company and passed within 6 lessons. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, ESPECIALLY NOT WITH DESI.

Negative experience: Instructor continuously chatted on phone and vaped during my daughter's lessons. Complained to head office who have just ignored my emails, and offered no response at all. Would definitely NOT recommend this company.

Fantastic experience: I had Chelsea as my instructor and she was amazing. We clicked immediately and that comes down to her supportive, positive and enthusiastic attitude. From there, my driving lessons felt like driving with a friend, while also receiving professional and diligent teaching. I passed first time and honestly I’m a bit gutted I don’t have our lessons to look forward to anymore. If you want someone completely down to earth but delivers patient, competent teaching, and takes huge care in making sure you’re supported all the way, choose Chelsea. I couldn’t fault my learning experience. Thank you Chelsea!

Negative experience: Please be aware some instructors are wasting valuable lessons time by going toilet for most of the lesson for new drivers, this happened to my family member, whom sent over £800 and didn't have a proper lesson.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been with 2 instructors with this company and I’ve had both really great and extremely bad experiences. The 5 stars I’ve given is for the second instructor that I was with (Liam). I have passed my driving test with 1 minor through having Liam as my instructor and he is a really great teacher, he always made sure to target my weaker areas with driving and I have seen MASSIVE progress with him and couldn’t be more thankful to him. However, I have also had some really bad experiences with this company, especially the instructor whose name is Tony Bains. He overcharged me too much money for lessons (£35/hour) and he only took cash, furthermore he would always waste time during the lessons by going to get food half way through the lessons, speaking to his friends on the phone and not concentrating on supervising me while driving, sometimes he would even go to the supermarket or to his friends garage in Gillingham instead of teaching me. As far as I’m aware driving instructors are also legally required to display their badge which he never had displayed let alone even showed me. When I asked him about taking his car to test he just kept on avoiding the question so I ended up switching instructor. My overall thought is that this company is alright it just depends on the instructor you get. I have this review at 5 starts for Liam who I’m thankful for but as for Tony i would say the ratings don’t go low enough. Please avoid this scammer if you ever do get him.

Negative experience: Our instructor is constantly cancelling or not turning up. Started lessons at the start of oct for lessons once a week, it is now the middle of March and we have only had 10 lessons. We paid upfront so will be changing driving school as soon as we get what we paid for. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

Fantastic experience: I had Bradlee as my instructor and he was very professional and always early. He is a patient teacher and will keep explaining things until you understand. He also boosts your confidence and is very supportive. Highly recommend Bradlee!

Fantastic experience: Simon is a fantastic instructor who is friendly, caring, enthusiastic, supportive and patient during the entire journey. From the very beginning he helped me build my confidence on the road not just after passing my test. He always took the time to explain/show certain things I was struggling on, which I appreciate. I highly recommend Simon as an instructor, I was very lucky to have him.

Negative experience: I had a driving instructor called Karl, he used to compare me to other drivers and how much further they had gotten than me. He was very short tempered, and he would say things like; “you’re going to mess the gear box up, have you got 3 grand laying around to pay for it?” All because I wasn’t getting the idea of the clutch, as well as, not taking my anxiety In to consideration. Some people are quick at learning, some people are slower than others. I found it rude myself. He then said he’d switch me to automatic, after I rang them up. They said he hasn’t done it, so basically he lied. Anyhow, I’m with a much better driving school. Who take my anxiety seriously, he also gave up on me on lesson 3. Have a lovely day Karl, I hope karma gets you.

Fantastic experience: I used Raj from Kinetic. All I have to say is how amazing she is, she was fantastic with myself and was very patient. Sadly during the time leading up to my test my dad had passed away, and she was amazing at rescheduling my lessons to ensure I got them in before my test. She was such a laugh and had loads of banter and was always very patient, and helped me so much in my lessons. Through her amazing coaching and mentoring I was able to pass my test FIRST TIME. I would highly recommend asking to use Raj as your instructor.

Fantastic experience: My instructor, Jeff was excellent. He was very professional, friendly and never wasted my time. My previous instructor didn’t think I could pass in two months but Jeff believed in me, and really helped me to pass first time. I completely recommend.

Negative experience: I had Mohammad as a driving instructor. He would regularly take phone calls, text and even eat in my lessons. It was really difficult to concentrate with all these distractions and when you’re being charged £64 pounds because he doesn’t do singles it’s just not good enough. Don’t go here if you want to pass because it’s daylight robbery.

Negative experience: Basically could have literally taken my sister for a complete joke. Brought 10 lessons, so that she could have them, and the instructor that was given to her literally cancelled every time the lesson was booked, and the cheek of it that the instructor actually cancelled on the day on the lesson no 24hour notice like we would have to give! Then to ask for a new instructor or refund. They promised a full refund and NEVER went though with it! So a year later and we still in the same position of trying to find another instructor in a different school to teach her as one worker from this company has completely failed us and massively lost a lot of money that we saved to get her driving started!!!

I had about 3-4 months lessons with him and just recently passed at Gillingham. Jason is an exceptional instructor whom I wholeheartedly recommend. His patience, attention to detail, and structured approach make him outstanding. Under his guidance, I acquired the skill of planning ahead, which significantly enhanced my driving abilities. If you're seeking a focused, kind, softly spoken, and respectful instructor, Jason is the perfect choice!

Negative experience: DONT BOOK!, THEY ARE THIEVES. I PAID ALMOST £300 for 4 sessions and DIDNT LEARN ANYTHING. They silently let u drive around waste time and keep letting u book more lessons to take more money. NOTHING THAT WAS IN THE TEST I WAS TAUGHT DURING MY LESSONS. DO NOT BOOK. Money making scam. Negative experience: I absolutely would not advise using this company! I had my first driving lesson with a male instructor in December, and he stopped teaching me after one lesson because he didn't know the area. He then said that Kinetic will contact me, and I spoke with the manager who said I'll be on a waiting list for a new instructor for two weeks. To this day, I haven't heard back from Kinetic, and I'm glad I haven't because I've moved on and am satisfied with a new instructor from a different company. Overall this company is not trustworthy!

Negative experience: If i could give no stars, i would. Avoid this scam of a company at all cost. I booked and paid for block lessons in August 22. I took my first lesson with a male instructor who had only been teaching for two months at the time. I struggle with PTSD and I found being in a confined space with a man of this build to trigger me. After the first lesson, I requested to change to female instructors to which they could not accommodate due to none being available within the area at a sooner date. I was suggested to go on the waiting list for female automatic drive to which i was then told I could be on the list for anytime, even up to a year. I was not willing to wait this long especially as I was moving into London soon there would be no point. I emailed the customer service in September and was told in early October I can get a refund if I tear up the vouchers I have left and send an image of this. I complied as it seemed reasonable. I then got another following email stating my refund will be processed in 5 working days. It is now January of 2023 and I am still yet to see my money reach my account. I have called with no answer and emailed with little to no response. I was also told I would be charged 49.99 admin fee in order for refund, which I first though fair given if it was actually 5 days. It has been 3 months and now I refuse to pay admin charge. In a nutshell, don’t book your lessons with Kinetic and especially if you don’t wish to be scammed.

Fantastic experience: I contacted around 20 instructors/driving schools in September to start as soon as possible. All said they are fully booked until December except Kinetic and I started the week after. My Instructor Emma Yearsley was the best! She is so patient and does not waste any time by chatting and I would drive from the moment I sat in the car until the end of the session. She is a great instructor and a very cool person as well. I passed first time!

Negative experience: The driving instructor they gave me would bring his friends/ random strangers to my private driving lesson. I was advised to send my complaint in via email, I attached photos to show what was happening during my lessons. This was sent months ago. I have called/left voicemails for an update regarding my complaint, no one has bothered to get back to me or even acknowledge the email.

Negative experience: i was recommended kinetic driving by friends in maidstone but unfortunately my experience was awful. mark horton was my instructor and i felt as if he didn’t understand my anxiety surrounding driving; rather than being calm he would shout and make loud noises when i did something wrong. as well as this, he would stop all of my lessons early and wouldn’t explain my wrong doings but rather made me feel like an idiot for not doing things correctly, despite the fact he was supposed to teach me how to drive and knowing i’d never driven before! it made me feel even more nervous to the point where i didn’t even want to continue driving and haven’t gone back since. i wouldn’t recommend this instructor in particular for those with anxiety or any nerves surrounding driving but maybe kinetic has people able to deal with these issues. i did make the company aware of my anxiety before they picked my instructor so i would’ve hope they would’ve been able to accommodate this.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic, my wife did automatic lessons with Jason and took her test in Gillingham. Jason was great at practicing the test routes and very calm and polite as English is not my wife's first language. She had another instructor previously and didn't enjoy the experience as they were not patient with her and made her feel uncomfortable. Jason was great always asking what she wanted to practice and making her feel at ease in the car. She passed the test after the first attempt with Jason having failed 3 times before with another instructor. Can't recommend Jason highly enough, thank you for your help as my wife flew through the test with only 4 minors and was very confident going into it thanks to Jason's thorough and relaxed teaching style.

Negative experience: Have been meaning to post this for a while but forgotten. I'm not even sure if the two instructors I had still work for kinetic but this was my experience with them. Avoid at all costs. I made the mistake of having my lessons with this lot. First instructor shouldn't have even been an instructor, swore and shouted at a driver behind for beeping him during the first 10 minutes and was overall very weird, kept giggling throughout the whole lesson. Tried to get me to buy a block of lessons with him and was visibly upset when I didnt. At this point I should have found a new driving school Called up to ask for a new instructor as pretty much everyone else was fully booked up for months, the lady on the phone offered no apology, it was like this was a regular occurrence. Onto the new instructor (still with kinetic) first few lessons were okay. However over the next dozen lessons I strongly felt she was dragging it out. Her mood/attitude was like a light switch at times, it got to a point where I was second guessing myself and dreading having lessons but I was dependent on work colleagues to travel into work at the time so I really needed to pass ASAP. Months later, I still apparently wasn't ready. I'm fairly certain I had close 60 hours worth of lessons (2 hour double lessons) with this instructor and got to a point where I was no longer improving. Lesson after lesson, still not ready. Ended up finding a new instructor at A-Class driving school who told me I was way more than ready for a driving test, even admitted she had put through students who weren't as ready as I was and was highly surprised with the amount of hours I had that the kinetic instructor had not done so already. Passed first time with 2 minors in a completely different area to where I had done all my lessons.

Negative experience: I have had the most awful experience ever with an automatic driving instructor called Jason hoather who is a driving instructor who teaches students automatic if you have got bad underline health problems like I have and you get worried and and concerned about things and need to ask your instructor I would never ever recommend this driving instructor his attitude and manners towards students is absolutely apoling I have had the worst experience ever with this driving instructor has absolutely no manners no patience with students who have underline health problems like learning difficulties like myself and has absolutely no understanding what so ever and is just a rude instructor to go with if you have underline health like I do then do not learn with this instructor he is a horrible man and judges you for what you have wrong with you like he has me dont go with him! Horrible man!

Ellie was dedicated and so great at teaching throughout lockdown! Both fabulous ladies! Could not have passed my first time without them!

Fantastic experience: Really professional school and awesome instructor Ellie Baker. I had been out of learning to drive for almost 10 years, so when I restarted with Ellie, my experience was lacking and I was extremely rusty. That didn't matter to Ellie. She spent many hours helping me relearn what I had forgotten as well as teaching me new techniques that I hadn't learned before. She has an incredible amount of patience and a wicked sense of humor. I felt at ease with her within the first few minutes of our first lesson. Unfortunately, due to personal commitments it was not Ellie who took me for my test, to which I was gutted. Ellie is a fantastic instructor with bags of charisma, making it easy for first time learners as well as those looking to pick up where they left off. She is a credit to herself and a real asset to Kinetic.

Negative experience: Just seen one of the driving instructors pull straight out on a car when coming on to the motorway at J3 M2- he didn’t need to as the lane he was in was a lane straight onto the motorway and there was nothing in front of him. Luckily the other car had their wits about them

Fantastic experience: I did my 2hour lessons with kinetic and done only 30hours to happily pass 1st time with 4minors, my instructor was Craig Guyver. he was a very reliable instructor and helped calm my nerves and always gave constructive feedback

Negative experience: This company is an introductory service. You take on a driving instructor at a huge risk with no contact details of the instructor other than a phone number. My daughter transferred £200 to her instructor, Abbie Jones from Cliffe Woods, but delivered only one lesson. The remainder of the lessons were booked but Abbie failed to show up. We have no contact details other than a phone number which she doesn't answer (unless we do a withheld number when she doesn't speak to us). Despite numerous phone calls and emails, Kinetic are equally silent.

Negative experience: the owner of this company, Nathan harmer is a disgusting unprofessional owner and lied and spoke to my family disgustingly. After asking to switch driving instructors due to the current one not being able to do certain days. This ended up in unnecessary actions taking place and when ringing the driving school to sort it out we was met with nathan harmer shouting a lying down the phone, it was honestly the most disgusting service i have ever encountered and I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND KINETIC DRIVING SCHOOL.

Negative experience: Terrible customer service, unreliable, unhelpful and when you try to speak to them they blame you and be very rude and won’t listen, all about the money don’t care about the students at all. They are not flexible either and students don’t progress very well, after over 10 lessons still haven’t been out of second gear or used roundabouts etc PLEASE AVOID!

Negative experience: Don’t use Asif Khan, not a good teacher at all, waste of time and money, he just talks and waste time and is eager for your money and ensures you waste it, don’t bother with him, he intentionally doesn’t progress you and read reviews first

Fantastic experience: Fantastic driving school. Helped me pass first time. Makes driving much easier to understand, and my instructor helped me by staying calm and talking through mistakes that were made so I actually understood why they were happening.

Positive experience: My first instructor that I had wasn’t really good at communication and when I’d message her she’d ignore my message, but being sent to Paul Hawkin has pushed my confidence above and beyond. ASK FOR PAUL HAWKIN!!!! His communication, professionalism and also making you feel comfortable. You won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: Andrew Osman was my second instructor and I would highly recommend him to anyone. All my lessons were fully practical and he encouraged me in getting over my nerves when driving and carrying out manoeuvres. I passed with 1 minor and I cannot thank him enough. Ask for Andrew.

Fantastic experience: Mark taught me to be a driving instructor. The whole experience was a pleasure from start to finish. His professionalism, ability to put students at ease and his sense of humour make learning easy & enjoyable. I would highly recommend Mark to anyone either learning to drive or those wishing to become a driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: Had first lesson today with Anthony Bains ..was truly nervous In fact hardly slept at all last night .. Anthony arrived great guy totally Professional but truly chilled ... made me feel so welcomed felt at home relaxed So someone please tell me why was I worried Truly Highly Recommend professional guy ... I’ll even go as far as saying if you don’t have a great amazing lesson experience with Anthony I’ll give your money back myself .. he's defo the boss man at teaching.. wow what an amazing first driving lesson.. bring on the next one !!

Fantastic experience: I had an absolutely amazing instructor, Craig had a huge amount of knowledge and was always great to keep you calm and have a good chat too! Made a driving lesson so fun and so comfortable that you managed to pick Everything up and learn so quickly and easily! Would always recommend him and kinetic if you want to pass! And be taught properly!

Fantastic experience: Craig guyver was my instructor, I had an instructor before him at a different school who would blame me for not doing aswell as he thought I should be doing and made me feel nervous. When I changed to Craig I felt so confident and he would let me make mistakes. I passed my test first time with him! Very greatful for such a relaxed and helpful instructor.

Fantastic experience: I got Craig as my driving instructor. They are professional and absolutely amazing. They teach you how to drive but the most valuable thing is they pass you their experience.
