Fantastic experience: After a bad CBT experience with another company, I had a couple 1-to-1 sessions with Chris and then completed the CBT with Jorge & Chris. Both of them were fantastic, patient with clear guidance throughout the sessions. Would 100% recommend.

Negative experience: *update* I was already contacted twice - once by a sympathetic instructor telling me to leave the situation with him. Secondly by a girl from office, who doubled down, instead of apologising, and said that I'd consented to paying again when it was rescheduled the first time! I said that I hadn't because why would I pay for a session I never received, so she clearly did an abysmal job of communicating that the first time round. You say you've reached out to reschedule but I wouldn't say your 'customer service' has left me with any faith this issue will be resolved. *original post* Awful experience. Turned up and they didn't have a smaller bike to accommodate me (5ft) and told it was my fault for not booking a small bike. Did not refund my money, told would rebook me in for a different session (1 month later) and had the cheek to ask me to pay again! Not an inclusive place clearly with terrible misleading customer service.

Positive experience: Training was very good, facility's are non existent though couldn't even get water properly, I had to drink from this old broken tap like a dog.

Fantastic experience: Easy to book, phone up they send via email proposed dates and a payment portal so you can sort it all online. The training is very detailed so you know exactly what you need not only to pass but to ride safely once you have passed. I would recommend them to anyone looking to learn.

Fantastic experience: Did my C.B.T in October 23, my Mod 1 and Mod 2 in January 24. My instructor, Chris, was occasionally funny () but above all patient with all the students I have been on the course (s) with, (especially me!) I had not been on a bike for many years but Chris managed to instill a confidence and a calmness to the proceedings that comes from having 20years training experience, he has nearly seen it all! If you want your CBT or full bike license then I 100% recommend Phoenix. Thank you guys.

As a result of their support and guidance I was able to pass both modules first time and obtain my full licence. Fantastic experience: I had an yet another excellent experience with Phoenix Motorcycle Training in Bath. My instructor this time was Simon who was incredibly helpful, patient, and had a wealth of knowledge to share. Since my last two CBT's, they've upgraded all their bikes to modern, new models. This gave me the fantastic opportunity to test out various bikes that I could actually buy and I absolutely fell in love with the little Honda Grom. Thanks to the quality training and the chance to explore different manual bikes, I'm now looking forward to the possibility of taking my direct access for a full bike license within the next 2 years!! Highly recommended!!

Fantastic experience: Class day, bit odd to be in rugby changing rooms. How ever Chris was brilliant and very concise, he made the learning experience fun and inclusive. Fantastic experience: Excellent instructor with excelled skills for basic training provided on ground with acurate supervision provided under instructor Chris, hats off and he had explained the thoroughly under dvla road safety guidelines and, we enjoyed two set of practicals with live road.

Positive experience: Chris was my son's instructor and he made a very big impression on my son. He failed his first CBT on a very minor u turn event so he just needed a bit more practise. A 1-2-1 and off he goes! Did his CBT and passed with flying colours! Seems to be a bit of an endeavour with the admin side of things. Being told what he needs by an instructor didn't translate to the booking team and i was getting emails to do more 1-2-1 lessons and full cbt's when he didn't need it and that can be costly. I know people need to make money but it felt a bit like i was being pushed to do more when it wasn't necessary. The instructors and teams were amazing and have given the confidence my son needed to be an excellent and safe rider.

Negative experience: This is a not so pleasant learning process. Since I paid the money, you should provide corresponding services. Due to the misjudgment of my level by the coach, after the failure of mod2, I have to spend £250 a day of training fees and £200 a day of mod 2 fees. Quite expensive, I took cbt and mod 1 here, and mod 2 at the same time 3 times. Here I really want to ask about "C". If I had a lot of riding problems during the training day, why didn't I tell me in more details and cancel my test？ Instead of being like a cowboy making me pay again and again and wasting my time. And if you don't want to teach me, you can ask another coach to teach. Here to inform the readers that I am a complete novice and have no driving experience in the UK before learning cbt. A instructor “C” in this driving school asked me to train for a day, and I took it to test mod 2 in about 5 hours. How ridiculous! If you don't have time to arrange my courses, then you have to refuse my payment, and make me wait for almost a month every time to practice for the exam Regarding prices, prices are available on their website. But here is a reminder to everyone who wants to sign up for study, if you fail mod 2, you need to spend 250 pounds a day for training and 200 pounds for a test fee. At the same time, you still need to wait for nearly a month to arrange your training and test. I already have my driver's license now. And spend less money. I still use the latest mt07 2022 in another driving school, not the broken cb500 and dilapidated z650 of this Phoenix driving school. At last，I spent about 1500 pounds in this driving school, and I didn't get the service and guidance I deserved. If you have no road experience at all, I don't recommend you to come here to learn. High fees and long waits.

Positive experience: I really enjoyed the CBT training that i took part in on 04/06/22. The instructor was very knowledgeable and gave very practical and concise instruction on the day. My only issue is that the practice pad we trained on at the Walcott Rugby club is too small. It means that whilst practice riding you are constantly going around in circles which means that trying to concentrate on the area of concern at a particular moment is hard. I do also think that it would make sense if the CBT for brand new riders who have had no experience on tow wheels should be 2 days not one as there is a lot of practical and theory that needs to be taken on board in a one very long day course. However i do now have the bug after completing the course and do want to get out and purchase my first 125 bike so i can practice for passing my test.

Fantastic experience: Just Successfully passed Mod 1 & 2 with Phoenix Bath. Our instructor Chris ( From Bath) was amazing. His instructions were clear and extremely practical. I felt fully prepared for both of my tests. I would totally recommend them to anyone thinking of getting their full bike licenses. Im 53 by the way, so apparently you can teach old dogs new tricks. Fantastic experience: My Wife and I took our CBT's at Walcot RFC last Saturday with Phoenix having not ridden any form of motorbike or scooter before. Mark was genuinely friendly and put any worries and reservations we had at rest. He took his time to go through all the procedures and manoeuvres in a helpful and informative manor. Fantastic experience: Did 4 days of intensive full bike licence with Chris, Passed mod 1 first time and mod 2 after third time. Messed up a couple times due to nerves so cant blame motoXP for that (now phoenix) Chris was able to quickly identify my strengths and weaknesses and correctly tailor the training towards those problematic areas that could be an issue on the test.

Fantastic experience: Thanks to the excellent instruction from the team of instructors at Moto XP I passed my bike test. After the nerves getting the better of me during my mod 1, with more lessons and focusing on where it went wrong on the correct I finally got there on the second attempt. Having gone from never riding a geared bike to passing my test I cannot recommend a training school better equipped and as knowledgeable as Chris, Adrian and Mark.

Fantastic experience: I did my DAS with Adrian and Chris this month and they were both brilliant. Calm, professional and informative trainers who won't only help you pass your test, but also make you a safe and capable rider. Negative experience: The instructor poor communication, unprofessional behaviour, got really nervous and aggressive I payed 150£pound for training..at 10 o’clock ..the trainer stop me kick me out ..I lost my money and my time

Fantastic experience: Honestly, what a year everyone has had to handle but, these guys have kept communications clear and honest when so much control has been taken out of all our hands. When we finally got round to completing my A licence Chris was fantastic, really professional tuition, always talking and communicating what he was doing and helping us learn not just to stay safe on the road but how to position ourselves to ride smoothly and efficiently so we enjoyed it. Thank you so much to both Chris and Adrian for being top no nonsense instructors.

Fantastic experience: At the beginning of April I only had a few months experience on a 125, by the end of the month I had my A licence! Thanks to Adrian and Chris for calm, expert tuition, and getting me through it. I can now get a bigger bike and continue my mid life crisis with better acceleration!

I started my CBT last Sunday and DAS training the weekend just gone having never ridden a geared bike before. Due to their down to earth and professional approach I passed my full licence today! Fantastic experience: I can't praise these guys enough. I've been through my CBT and DAS with hiccups on the way (my own fault) and they have been optimistic, encouraging and patient. The bikes are well maintained and fit for purpose, most with heated grips (which are fantastic). The communication is always good and despite the pandemic they remained responsive and always keen to get me in my test as soon as possible. Well done Moto XP.

Negative experience: This went really badly for me. I asked information about getting a full A license since I have a 200cc scooter and was directed toward a DAS course. I was skeptical about it because I have no experience with motorbikes with gears so I asked by email and at the phone if I needed to book further training before the course but was reassured that most people are able to learn it in four days of course. I had the CBT course on a moped which was a mistake obviusly but nobody told me about it and I expected to be taught how to use geared motorbikes during the course anyway. The first day of the course I was sent away and I lost the money because they refused to train me since I had no experience with geared bikes. Fair enough but I asked so many times about it and nobody told me anything. Really poor communication, unprofessional behaviour, the instructor got really nervous and aggressive as I mentioned him I don't have experience with geared motorbikes the first days of the course (just the day before we spoke at the phone and I mentioned it again). Also the time of the course was moved twice, it was at 7 am first, then moved to 6:30 am, then at 6:00 just the day before the course. This for me is as unprofessional as you can get and not worth the money.

Fantastic experience: I received training for my A2 licence from Adrian and Chris. They were both very professional instructors with a good sense of humour and a calm approach to teaching. Adrian has handled the coronavirus situation really well, and got me booked in for my tests as soon as he physically could, which I really appreciated. Fantastic experience: I did my CBT and direct access(module 1&2) through MotoXP. I had Marc for CBT and Adrian, the owner, for mod 1 & 2. I also met Chris during both modules. All three were absolutely fantastic throughout. Very friendly people that I felt were genuinely interested in me being able to pass. I have my US motorcycle and car license so I wasn't new to riding bigger bikes, but as you might know driving in the UK has its specific uniqueness. All of them gave invaluable feedback on what I need to be doing for the scenarios that don't have a counterpart across the pond. In addition, they would offer anything that would help me be a better rider overall. Their ability to translate attention to the individual was excellent. As such, I passed all the way through. I cannot thank them enough. If they can teach a dumb American to safely ride on UK roads then they can help anyone do the same. I highly, highly recommend you give them a call if you think motorcycling is for you or if like me you just need to get back to two wheeled life. Stay safe out there and keep the rubber side down.

Fantastic experience: Had a great week learning to ride bigger bikes with Chris and Adrian, resulting in me getting my full license. The emphasis of the training was on learning to ride a bike rather than doing the minimum to pass a couple of tests and I am grateful for that. I would highly recommend using MotoXP if you're looking for bike tuition.

Thanks to Chris I passed my DAS and steadily improved my control of the bike (and the road) over the four days. Can't fault the service and feel much more confident on the road. Fantastic experience: Bike training with Moto XP will bring you joy. This is possibly the best license I have ever acquired. Once you have provided the purfect ride for your examination you are free.. winter time is the best time to learn ready fro the summer.. Book the theory test early guys this could slow you down if your a genius like me.

Fantastic experience: DIRECT ACCESS FOR A COMPLETE BEGINNER My direct access course finished yesterday. It lasted from Saturday morning until Tuesday morning with approximately 4-5 hours riding a day. My first 2 days were with Adrian and then my last 2 days were with Chris. Given that I had never touched a geared bike before I was unsure about how quickly I would be able to learn to control the 600cc bike and given that my test was booked for Tuesday morning I was nervous and felt under pressure to get the hang of it quickly. Adrian provided great training and a calming influence and I learned to ride the bike comfortably within an hour or so. A couple of days of practicing figure of 8s, u-turns and slow rides meant that I was preparing well for the module 1 test. As the days progressed I became more and more comfortable on the bike and started to have to think less about how to operate the gears and more about the riding. On Tuesday morning I sat my module 1 test and passed without any nerves or difficulty - my only fault being 1km per hour under the desired speed for the hazard avoidance...no doubt compensating for the 7km over the desired speed for the emergency stop exercise previously! after a 30 minute wait I undertook my module 2 exam. The ride was comfortable and I felt in control of everything. The examiner was great at putting my nerves to rest so that he could assess my riding. Unfortunately I did not pass this time but I can confidently say without hesitation that it had nothing to do with my training, it was a rider error and I knew the mistake the second I made it. My unfamiliarity with the area meant that I crossed a badly marked lane on a large roundabout and affected another road user (instant fail). Apart from that mistake which was 5 minutes before the end, I only had 4 minor faults which goes to show the level of training that Adrian and Chris provide - they took a person who had never ride a bike before to getting 4 minor faults - only let down by a major fault caused solely by myself. Whilst I would have loved to be able to say that I went from never having riden a geared bike until Saturday and passed my full bike test on Tuesday morning I am not able to do so. What I am able to do is say unreservedly that the training and guidance you get at Moto XP is exceptional and that had I not made that mistake on that last roundabout, I would have passed. I have my retake booked for 4 weeks time and in the meantime I will get to know the Bristol ring road roundabouts much better! Credit to Adrian and Chris for their patience, expertise and training. I highly recommend this bike school. ........as an update to the above review I wrote a few weeks ago, with no further training, I have just passed my test with 1 rider fault which was that the examiner would have preferred to see me brake earlier before bends.

Fantastic experience: To anyone looking to take their motorbike test, I would highly recommend Motoxp. As from my experience ( having not rode a bike for 45 years ) I was made to feel at ease and confident with riding once again. I did not pass my test the first time around, however the team at MotoXP were very patient with me and today I am proud to say that I have now passed my full Motorbike license. And I would like to say a special thank you to Adi and Chris for making my dream come true. Im a 67 year old rider and I owe it to those two men at MotoXP ! My dream is to one day ride Route 66 on a Harley Davidson, hopefully next year I will get the opportunity to do it. Im a proud owner of a Harley, so if anyone is looking to take their test, defiantly go with MotoXP !! Thank you Adi and Chris , I know you'll miss me. Alan Ayliffe

Fantastic experience: Passed CBT in May and DAS Mod 1 & 2 in Aug. Can't rate Chris and Adrian high enough from initial contact all the way through to the facilities, bikes and quality of teaching plus the pricing is fantastic for all that you get. Review wouldn't change even if I'd failed any part because they are genuinely a top notch operation and it would have been down to me so thanks Adrian & Chris!

Fantastic experience: Completed the DAS course with Moto XP today with a first time Mod 2 pass. All thanks to the training, guidance and advice from Adrian and Chris. Top blokes with plenty of patience, a sense of humour combined with a serious side when it comes to safe riding. Plenty of time was also made available for practicing the areas I struggled with at first. Looking forward to some advanced tuition with MotoXP soon!
