Fantastic experience: I’d highly recommend sirens for your HGV license training and test. I spoke to Steve on the phone back and forth for about a week wrecking his head with a million questions which he answered with great detail. I only passed my driving license 1 year prior to going for HGV and since then hadn’t really driven a car so was very hesitant on going for it. I booked the option of 16 hours course with mod 4 including the 2 re-test for piece of mind for myself. The price was very good as it was cheaper than 3 of the other big name places I called for the training in which they didn’t include any re-tests. Steve was very accommodating as I wanted to complete the course within a couple of weeks of first talking to him and after moving some things around he was able to make this happen. Another thing I really liked about sirens is they have their reverse test and CPC done in house which is a huge benefit. In the end I didn’t need the retests as I passed first time. I had the instructor named Garry for my driving training with who I found to be very knowledgeable. Another instructor named Colin took me through my CPC and Steve took me out on my warm up before test. Nothing but good things to say about them all. I’d take the only negative review they have on here with a pinch of salt as in my opinion I couldn't fault them on any front.

Fantastic experience: 3/5/24 - had my practical driving test today and i cant express the gratitude to sirens driving academy for the help and support on completing and passing my cat c class 2 license. a massive thank you to Big Steve who was amazing in the delivery of instruction and guidance on the day an absolute credit to the company, please request him if you can for his teaching if you manage to take your lessons with sirens. again a huge thakn you for everything.

Fantastic experience: BEST DRIVING SCHOOL OUT THERE! My instructor was Colin and without his help I wouldn’t have passed! He helped me through everything and explained everything time and time again! I met a few others on my way! Stephen bell who was also very nice and Steve who is another instructor who actually was my examiner for my reversing and was just amazing! Helped me with my nervous and helped me completely smash it! I wouldn’t have choose a different driving school Wouldn’t fault them one bit! Fantastic experience: I was extremely impressed from start to finish with the professionalism of sirens driving Academy. I was explained the full process and offered help along the way the platform to obtain my medical was really easy and the learning material for my theory test was fantastic. I feel confident when I attended a theory test centre and was able to pass first time. On the day of my practical test, I was met by a great instructor called Gary. I was somewhat nervous about taking the test as it had been many years since my original driving test. Gary took the time to fully explain the process. The various tests that I would have to demonstrate and help me understand the manner of which I was required to drive. I was fortunate to pass within a relatively fast period of time, and I put this down to the professionalism and expertise of those employed by sirens, driving Academy. I felt confident before my test, and with the effort and reassurance by Gary I was able to pass first time. Fantastic experience: These guys are fantastic , I was New to Lorry Driving and was a bit nervous to start with, but these guys truly helped me overcome my fear of driving a bigger vehicle. Wayne My instructor gave me all the help I needed and believed in me all the way to the very end on test day and encourage me all the time. I truly recommend this company. As I suffer with reading and writing as I’m dyslexic and Wayne really helped me with my mod4 and all the challenges that I come up against with the exams. when it came to test day’s , I passed first time. if you’re thinking about doing your Hgv driving exam, I would highly Recommend Sirens Driving Academy ltd to do your exams as these guys go above and beyond to help you pass. Negative experience: !!!PLEASE READ!!! I highly doubt that many of these reviews are legitimate. (On other websites moderators are investigating their reviews) If you're paying for it yourself, go to one of the local rivals like Bains or Wallace. Alternatively the National Driving Academy in Croydon is an excellent option if you're prepared to travel. If your company paid for you to use this school, watch YouTube videos on how to drive a lorry. Their instructors don't teach you properly and the team are very disrespectful. (Especially Stephen and Julia) I was doing my HGV Cat C training here. Honestly the most horrendous and unprofessional experience I've ever had with any company or team of people. I'm just going to bullet point my experience. • Their instructor did not teach me how to drive a lorry properly for my test. His lack of knowledge of how to pass the test was shocking. He didn't teach me the basics like looking over your shoulder and was much more focused on his phone. • The owner Stephen Bell called me a liar, shouted abuse at me the threatened to punch my face in when I told him my instructor didn't teach me properly. Which is never a pleasure • They gave me a broken down lorry for my test so the assessor wouldn't let me take the test. • On the retake three days later they didn't let me have a warm up and told me "we're not obligated to give you a warm up" • One entire lesson was spent driving in a straight line to Oxford to do the reverse practice. It's not an efficient use of a lesson as driving forwards is very simple and most of the training should be spent on challenging manoeuvres. A lot of annual leave was wasted on this driving school and I hope people see this review and think twice before booking you lessons with these people. A couple of months later I did my HGV Cat C training with a much better driving school and I passed my test first time. (Funnily enough there was another person there who had a similar experience at Sirens) Since then I have been successfully driving for six months and it is no thanks to Stephen Bell and the team at Sirens.

Fantastic experience: Took the 2 day C1 course with Sirens after a recommendation from a colleague. I already had some experience driving bigger vehicles but nevertheless the teaching was through and I learnt a lot of new theories and techniques. Easy and kind instructors to get on with that give clear advice and instructions.

Fantastic experience: What can I say, really complain. Received advice from Julia bell on which type of licence i would need. I done the D1 two day driving course and was trained by Steve who was calm, professional and guided me well to passing my D1 driving test first time.

Fantastic experience: I researched loads of different training company's when i first started my hgv journey, Sirens ticked all the boxes including being one of the cheapest. Guys if your looking for a trustworthy, decent priced training company with excellent training staff then you won't regret booking with Sirens! I was lucky enough to have Wayne as my trainer, he is extremely knowledgeable and has a very good way of getting his point across, he flew me through my course and final test no problem. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Sirens Driving Academy, both instructors and admin staff. It's a lovely family run business. They are very professional and strait forward. What you see is what you get. I very much, would recommend them to anyone who wishes to pass they HGV licence. As for my instructor, Wayne, he is the best, his teaching methods are immaculate. He will make you feel at ease with his down to earth character but will also be on your case all the time without making you feel like a high school student when being told off for doing something wrong. Top mark for a top man!

Fantastic experience: Just passed both my C+E class 1 practical (Yeading) and reversing tests first time with the help of Wayne and Craig. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better instructor, Wayne is knowledgeable, funny, down to earth, patient and non judgmental. I don’t feel like I’ve been taught just to pass the test, but that I’ve been taught to set me up well for being out in the ‘real world’. I cannot recommend him highly enough and both Wayne and Craig are an asset to Sirens. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: 5 stars doesn't really justify how good they all were. Took my class 2 never drove a lorry before. My instructor was called craig. By the end of the first day he had made me feel confident enough to go out by myself! He was patient and extremely knowledgeable. Training all week was superb. You may think a week is not enough to take everything in but beleive me the way you are tought throughout the week you will know everything you need to know by the end of it. Im sorry i dont know everyones names but from the owner i met to the trainers everyone was so nice and helpful. And that is why i will be coming back to do my class 1 with them

Fantastic experience: Wayne was a great instructor. Has a lot of experience. Even went out of his way after hours to get paperwork filled out and signed. Plus trucks are in good condition. Steve owner was really cool. Criag helped me on my test day. With loads of handy tips. With all that said I sent on to passing my class 2 all together. Fantastic experience: A special mention to Craig and Neil. What makes Sirens the place I’d recommend more than anything are these two. Not only are they skilful in their jobs but they care, when you pass, they pass. All round good people to have met and they’ve helped me in my class 2 job hunt. Another special mention to Tony, who has a special ability to calm your nerves and build your confidence. I set myself the task of passing in 3 months and managed to do so. Fantastic experience: Took my car to Class 1 training this week at Hayloaders in Brill. The whole experience has been excellent throughout and can’t praise my trainer Alby enough. He made the entire process an enjoyable experience and put me at ease throughout, couldn’t ask for a better trainer for me. This led to passing my Class 1 first time with ease! Fantastic experience: I was fortunate enough to have two amazing instructors in Wayne and Craig. Both of which were very patient and helpful in aiding me to become certified. By my own admission I'm not the easiest person to train however my instructors were able to overcome this barrier. He was like a therapist who was easily able to help me navigate my problems and nerves and find ways to address and fix them in a way that i felt convinced, I really could do this. It really helped that even when youre driving good hes still talking to you and teaching you how to do it, when to do it, It like becomes second nature to you and sharpens your driving even more. Fantastic experience: I carried out my driver training with Sirens Driving Academy in Brill to upgrade my class 2 licence to a class 1. I had Stefan as my instructor he was patient, calm and very knowledgeable and he could answer any questions i asked. Fantastic experience: Really pleased I used Sirens for my C+E course. I opted for the 4 days training/5th day test package which was perfect. Had good instruction throughout from Luke, I liked his training style, of giving me the info/tips I needed without micromanaging or overbearing, allowing me to understand the vehicle myself. I used the depot near to Denham/Rickmansworth which was ideal, then carried out the reversing part at their main facility in Brill. The vehicles are all in good order and reliable. Really happy I chose Sirens and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anybody looking to move up to C/C+E licences. From an organisation point of view, communications was always clear and quickly, Julia in the office kept me updated with plans/test details etc etc. really happy, Thanks Sirens

Fantastic experience: Thank you to Sirens Driving Academy for assisting me in acquiring my Cat C licence. All the staff are so welcoming and friendly and Stefan is a brilliant instructor. He’s patient and very helpful with regards to instructions and corrections. Looking forward to my practical training for Cat C+E in two weeks.

Great teachers, very patient but they also take you through things very thoroughly and explain things in a clear and memorable way. I learnt a huge amount in a short space of time due to such excellent teaching. Steve is the best instructor you could ever ask for. He’s got all the knowledge and is very patient. I love his sense of humour too. He made me feel confident behind the wheel and helped me relax before my exam. Would definitely recommend for anyone learning to drive! The owners are very nice, helpful people who genuinely care whether you pass or not and try their best to make the process as pleasant as possible. 5*

Negative experience: Training wasn't adequate I spent a 4 hour session with a trainer who was on there phone for the whole session. My new instructor Luke didn't enough time to train me with the skills required to drive a class 1 vehicle. I wish I had him from the start as another 4 hours with him could've done the job. I was supposed to be booked for my test at a certain time when we arrived at the test centre the time arrived and it became apparent that the test wasn't even booked and we had to leave their premises. Once on the m25 my instructor received a phone call instructing him to turn back round as a last minute booking had been made. This resulted in me having to arrange child care at last minute, which anyone with a child would understand is very stressful. After reading Sirens reviews this was not the service I believe I would get, I'm very disappointed in the lack of training I received and organisation. Being a single father I'm now not in the position to proceed with any further training, you have made so many peoples dream come true but you have broken mine. Very disappointed.
