I decided to start driving an automatic to reduce the number of things I had to think about and thought I should have some lessons first. Sam was flexible in arranging lessons and happy to practice whatever I decided that I needed most. Negative experience: I'm very disappointed and shocked at the service received considering the 5 star reviews on Google. I contacted Lesson Plus due to the great reviews, but the driver I was allocated (Faisal) ended up ignoring my attempts at booking my first lesson. I then messaged a different number obtained from their Facebook page, he replied saying he will chase up Faisal and that was the end of it, I heard nothing. So had to go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: July 2024 was the first time I was learning to drive and I came to the right place with the best instructor - Mr. Naeem! He was so accommodating with the timing of the lessons. I was so afraid to drive especially manual but it gave me more confidence the more I learnt with him. As a psychotherapist, I was more appreciative of how Mr. Naeem was aware to my mental and emotional blocks when it came to driving and he will break down every part of my fears and anxiety to address them safely. I have always struggled with not being perfect but learning to drive with Mr. Naeem by my side, through my errors he never stopped believing in me and kept checking on me and helped to address the faults until I passed. I am grateful to have had a great driver and “therapist” who has helped me achieve my goal of being a safe and confident driver today.

Fantastic experience: I booked lessons with them and assigned Mr Farid as an instructor. There are couple of things which I particularly liked about mr Farid. First, he scheduled my lessons according to my convenience as I’m full time employed. 2ndly he was always on time. 3rd I was impressed by his experience and attention to the details while driving. I was not a very good driver but after getting lessons I was able to pass my driving test on the first attempt.

Fantastic experience: To begin, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Mr. Faisal Mirza for his invaluable guidance and support, which enabled me to successfully pass my driving test on the first attempt with only one minor fault. Initially, I sought driving lessons from another instructor from my home country, believing that it would be easier to understand and a smoother process. However, this instructor proved to be quite the opposite, lacking in motivation and constantly discouraging me. After the third class, I decided to discontinue lessons with him. Subsequently, I obtained Mr. Faisal's contact through a friend and arranged a driving lesson with him. I informed him that I had prior driving experience, having hired a car four times and driven in the UK. Nevertheless, he insisted on assessing my driving skills before making any judgments. During our first session, he acknowledged that my driving was generally good but suggested areas where I could improve. In addition, I have already scheduled my test for July 31st, which is a very short time frame. Furthermore, he has another student's test scheduled for the same date and time. Later on, I searched for an alternative date and fortunately found an availability on September 13th at the Colwick center. During my training, he demonstrated exceptional patience and instilled confidence in my driving abilities. Remarkably, he never discouraged me at any point. Whenever I made a mistake, he handled it calmly and patiently, assuring me not to become tense. Overall, this driving school has had a positive impact on me, and the instructor has been exceptionally supportive. Fantastic experience: When I first started learning with Sam Malik, Lesson Plus Driving School Nottingham, I was really, really nervous due to past bad experiences with another instructor. Very quickly, Sam Malik made sure to assure me that I was safe and that it was okay to make mistakes and share if I was not ready or comfortable with anything at any point, which made me feel instantly at ease. Even when I would make silly mistakes or judge things wrong, Sam was always quick to step in, correct it and discuss calmly what happened- he is never anything but calm and professional which was so important as an anxious, low-confidence learner. At all times I felt listened to, genuinely cared for and that Sam put 100% of his focus and attention on each of my lessons. For a time, I was absolutely convinced driving wasn’t for me and that I didn’t have any hope at all in passing, but it truly is down to Sam’s friendly, expert guidance that I was able to pass today with only 2 minors on my first attemp at Chilwell Driving Test Center Nottingham. I cannot recommend enough to learn with Sam Malik!!
