Fantastic experience: My first driving lesson was with John and he really helped me pass my test in just over 6 months of driving. This is bearing in mind I took 4 weeks off during the summer and only had a lesson every other week during the university term time. Would really recommend John to anyone wanting to learn to drive.

Negative experience: Truly appalling driving witnessed today which I have videod and sent to the police. Racing a car which attempted to overtake you when you were not giving a lesson but driving slowly along a clear road is an offence. Anyone who thinks this is a good instructor needs to think again. You are a dangerous arrogant idiot

Negative experience: Never taught my daughter clutch control- taught her to move off by lifting the clutch and only then, when the car moves forward, to use the gas- this worked in his car as it’s an up to date modern vehicle. The problem is in an older model you need clutch and gas and to learn the biting point in order to move. Now having to re teach my daughter in order that the car doesn’t keep stalling. Has really knocked my daughter’s confidence. Will not be using this company again!

John was brilliant and had her driving within half an hour of showing her everything to do with set up and how the car works. Fantastic experience: My driving instructor was absolutely superb in taking me through exactly what I need to do for the test as well as going to the test centre several weeks beforehand to practice some of the trickier routes. His overall instruction was absolutely brilliant, giving clear and concise instructions whilst keeping the lessons interesting and fun. Duncan also sent me extensive resources that proved invaluable, from the simplest of bay parks to the trickiest of roundabouts. His lessons are carefully planned out and build in difficulty at a rate that is comforting and exciting. Without Duncan I wouldn’t have passed first time with as little as two faults. I could not recommend him highly enough; if only I could put six out of five stars! I will miss driving with him and our hilarious conversation. Thanks so much Duncan!

Fantastic experience: Duncan was my driving instructor for about 7 months, before I passed my test first time with only 1 minor at Lee-On-The-Solent. He was always able to fit lessons around my schedule and was happy to change them at short notice if needed. He even helped me improve my driving outside of our lesson time, by recommending appropriate routes I could practice with my parents and by sending videos / website links which really helped me gain confidence with my skills and learn the area in which I would be taking my test. During the final few weeks Duncan had no issues with letting my lessons overrun (without charging extra!) so that we could head down to the coast and practice actual test routes that he knew, thanks to his many passes down there. Thank you Duncan for making me a safe driver- I will greatly miss our weekly lessons!

Fantastic experience: I imagine I've had a somewhat different driving background than most on here - not starting until the ripe old age of 38 and lessons somewhat impacted by Covid. But looking at reviews, it's been similar in terms of the excellent L to P experience I've had. I started driving lessons with a different school before moving to L to P. Jeremy made feel comfortable and at ease from the start, giving me constructive feedback but never making me feel bad about mistakes I made (which will happen to most / all) and always noting when things went well. Driving lessons were personable and relaxed, helping create an extremely safe and productive environment. I joined L to P from my previous driving school extremely nervous and self conscious about my driving, but soon got to the point of actually enjoying and looking forward to the drives each week. I can't thank Jeremy enough, I wasn't sure if I would ever get there before moving to L to P and I'm so glad I made the switch.

Fantastic experience: Duncan was my driving instructor for 9 months. He was very patient and kind and always seemed calm and relaxed. He was great at providing encouragement even when my nerves sometimes got the better of me and his approach really helped me gain confidence quickly. The lessons were always fun and varied and the feedback that Duncan provided using the MyDriveTime app was really useful at helping me to keep track of the progress I had made along with what I needed to work on before the next lesson. Duncan was also very flexible if I needed to change the time of my lesson at any point due to work or study commitments. He is very kind, patient and cares very much about maintaining his students' confidence. At the same time he is very meticulous and gives very precise instructions and explanations. And he certainly trains you out of bad habits so you not only pass your test but also become a good and safe driver. Plus you certainly have many a good laugh during the lessons as Duncan has a lovely sense of humour and enthusiasm. Definitely would recommend Duncan for both mature learner drivers like me who have been practicing a lot but without proper instruction and those just starting.

Duncan is a great teacher, and always went the extra mile to make sure she was happy and that the lessons fitted in with her busy life schedule. Fantastic experience: The absolute best driving school in the area! I contacted Jez after getting back home from travelling for 2 years, super keen to learn to drive quickly but also carefully and considerately. Fantastic experience: I have just passed my driving test first time after learning with Jeremy. I started off with a couple of his sessions on the Dunsfold track when I was 16 which was great fun and good for getting used to manoeuvring the car without all the added distractions that you have to deal with. As soon as I turned 17 I started lessons on the road. We started off somewhere that was really quiet and Jeremy was really good at making me feel at ease. We progressed quickly but only ever at a pace that I felt comfortable with until I was happily driving to Guildford and back. Jeremy helped me with all the things that examiners will be looking for so that I could get into the habit of doing things right. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jeremy as he is an excellent instructor.

He was great in every way - calm and professional, with a great sense of humour, even while wearing the obligatory face mask for 1.5 hours in a melting heatwave. Fantastic experience: My 15 year old son, Sampson drove for the very first time today with Jeremy at the Dunsfold Aerodrome. Sampson found Jeremys friendly coaching style very positive and informative, which made it a thoroughly enjoyable experience. If Sampson needed any corrections Jeremy would help Sampson to help himself by asking why the correction was needed in such a way that didn’t undermine Sampson’s confidence. Sampson was able to successfully complete all of the tasks and manoeuvres which he couldn’t stop smiling about, which as parents we couldn’t have asked for more. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend LtoP. Thanks Jeremy!

Fantastic experience: Our boys are about to be 17 and so we booked with Jeremy for a session at Dunsfold. Really great - an hour and a half means they do actually get to grips with the mechanics of driving a car. They both thoroughly enjoyed it and are really looking forward to learning more with him.

Fantastic experience: Jeremy has been a really great driving instructor. He explained everything very well, was professional but also friendly, putting my daughter at ease. She was very well prepared to take her test in March but unfortunately it was postponed due to current circumstances.
