Fantastic experience: I passed in the first attempt thanks to Josh (Taylor’s Driving School). I had only 4 months left before my theory expires and Josh did everything in his power to help me achieve my goal. Taylor helped my husband pass in the first attempt also. I think Taylor is doing an amazing job helping Josh help others like me. Josh is very calm when it comes to teaching and learner making mistakes as well as a good coach to help the learner keep calm during driving. What I liked the most about Josh and Taylor is that this school is focussed on creating safe and confident drivers and not just passing the test. I can tell from my experience how much Josh helped me bring myself out of test mode and just focus on learning to drive as being in test mode was the reason for making mistakes I would 100% recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had a great learning experience with my instructor, Dean. He is extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. He gets to know the student and caters his teaching styles accordingly, which made such a difference in my driving. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Taylor's Driving school for new and experienced drivers applying to get a license in the UK. Dean, my instructor, was a very supportive teacher. He helped me understand the rules through printed materials during our driving class and made sure I practiced all the mirrors, signalling, blind checks, etc till it became natural for me to drive with those checks in mind. Fantastic experience: I cleared my UK driving test recently and I'm very grateful to Elton & Dean from Taylor's driving School on helping me navigate the journey. I'm an experienced driver and there were a few nuances that needed correcting. The crew at Taylor's driving School has a very pragmatic approach to teaching, and exporting the "Taylor's Way of driving", which focuses on much more than just clearing your test. The goal is to bring good and safe road users, and Taylor's does an excellent job at that. The lessons are prioritised on areas you want to develop, along with a holistic learning on all other areas. If you're learning to drive, or are an experienced driver moving to the UK, I highly recommend Elton, Dean and the crew at Taylor's driving School.

Fantastic experience: I had started with Taylor’s driving school 4 weeks before my test date having come from another instructor who wasn’t great. Although I had taken upto 12/14 lessons beforehand I still lacked confidence when driving. Josh at Taylor’s driving school was honestly the best instructor I could’ve asked for and I genuinely wish I would’ve had him from the start of my driving journey. Josh is very professional, calm and reassuring. It is very evident in his teaching style that he enjoys teaching and genuinely wants to see you do well and succeed. Josh very quickly helped me fix any small habits that weren’t working and did it in such an easy and understandable manner. He simplified the concept of driving so much that I had wondered what it was that had me feeling so overwhelmed. Josh is an emotionally intelligent teacher who will work through your thoughts and worries with you to in order for you to become the most confident and safe driver you can be. Fantastic experience: I cannot praise Dean highly enough. I passed my test 30 years ago, but have lacked the confidence to drive properly since, despite having refresher lessons at various points. Having lessons with Dean has been a game changer and I have driven everyday this week, quite happily. As an instructor, he is calm, encouraging, positive and a phenomenal multi-tasker! I honestly can't imagine anyone better skilled in the job. He is also a super lovely person, and I very much enjoyed chatting with him for two hours each week.

Fantastic experience: My first intention was to do automatic, I had already done some driving lessons with a different school but couldn’t see any progress for myself. I Ended up doing manual as waitlist was shorter. Dean, my instructor helped me build my confidence and made me feel at ease on the road. I’ve always been able to schedule lessons to my convenience and office team provided smooth communication all along. I’m so glad I didn’t give up!

Fantastic experience: I started to learn to drive in 2021, I have had about 5 different driving instructors. I was being taught by another instructor when my boyfriend started learning how to drive with Elton, my test was coming up and I thought I was ready to take it. My boyfriend came home and told me how great Elton is after their lessons, and he wasn’t joking. I was convinced into starting couples driving lessons with Elton and my boyfriend. My first lesson was a great learning experience, now remember I was super confident in my driving and I thought I was ready to pass my test, I literally sped around a corner in 3rd gear at about 30 miles an hour, Elton and my boyfriend were both holding on for dear life, we can joke about it now but it was no joke at the time I realise how horrendous it was and I can’t believe my other instructor was telling me i was ready for my test, after this lesson I got rid of him!!! I was so upset when Elton told me I am no where near ready for my test but he was so understanding about it and handled it so well. I told him how my past instructor would huff at me when I did something wrong, Elton helped me to understand why am doing things wrong and the process of it all. He took time to understand what techniques worked for me when learning something we tried different ways of learning, had recaps at the beginning of our lessons and at the end too, he helped me unlearn all the bad habits I had developed over the time I was learning how to drive before him it was not an easy task. Honestly I cannot praise him enough he really helped me understand how the car works and helped me to build confidence with the tools. He made learning how to drive a fun experience, he helped me understand why I made mistakes and how to fix them, he was so patient with me. I recommend him to everyone who asks. This was such a great experience. Elton is the best driving instructor I’ve had and I urge you to give him a try you will not regret it!!! I passed my test on my first attempt! I was initially an extremely nervous driver and Dean helped me to build my confidence and gain the skills I needed to pass my test on the first attempt, which I never would have expected when I first started taking lessons. Dean was patient, meticulous and professional, and always knew what to say to encourage me! I appreciated being asked at the start of lessons whether there was anything in particular I wanted to do, and how much verbal help I wanted while driving - this made me feel in control of my learning and helped me get the most out of my lessons. In terms of booking lessons, Dean was punctual, organised and accommodating, and I was always able to book lessons at times which were convenient to me. Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Elton for learners or drivers who are anxious, looking to gain confidence or refresh their road knowledge. I passed my driving test in 2013 but - after 10 years of living in London with no car - I was very out of practice and incredibly anxious about driving. This anxiety was made worse in 2021 after a few lessons with an instructor from a big driving school, when I had a traumatic experience and suffered even more setbacks with my confidence. After reading reviews for Elton, I signed up to his waiting list - and it was worth the (short) wait! He was always very calming, patient, encouraging and helped to pinpoint the cause of my anxieties so we could develop strategies to overcome them. He used a range of methods, including visual aids, to teach road rules, improve my driving skills, and to constructively communicate how I could improve if I made any mistakes. My anxiety steadily reduced and I transformed from being nervous on mini roundabouts to confidently driving on the M25. Last week, I picked up my own car and completed a 5+ hour journey across the country on my own. At the start of the year I never would have imagined I could achieve this in 2024. Thanks, Elton!

Fantastic experience: I want to thank Taylor's Driving School for organising refresher lessons with Aaronwill. I moved to the UK from Russia a year ago and needed to get a full UK license. Although I had driving experience back in Russia, I wanted a few lessons to get used to the rules and road layouts here. I contacted Taylor's Driving School and, while the biggest downside was waiting almost 2 months due to a long waiting list (I applied in Nov 2023 and started lessons in Jan 2024), they were upfront about the wait and kept me informed. Aaron is an excellent teacher. He explains everything clearly and is a pleasure to talk to. I had a great experience with him: it took me 6 lessons (12 hours in total) to pass the test on my first attempt. I took the test in Erith, which has one of the lowest pass rates in the UK, and I passed flawlessly without a single minor. I was very comfortable with Aaron and asked him to stay in the car during the exam. My wife recently started lessons with him. She had never driven before and was very nervous, but after her first lesson, she came home beaming. Aaron was reassuring, and she found her start amazing. She's now enjoying her lessons and looking forward to passing her practical exam. I highly recommend Taylor's Driving School and Aaron, in particular. Thanks a lot for the great experience!

Fantastic experience: I HIGHLY recommend this driving school and my instructor Dean. From the booking process, to getting the learners pack, to learning the theories and all the driving practice sessions with that lead me to getting my license. Dean was super thorough with the syllabus and making sure what we're learning are applicable day-to-day. He's also patient and accommodating since I'm a very nervous test-taker. They don't just prepare you to pass the test, but also for you to drive safely well in the long run!

I've been driving in the United States for almost 20 years and when I decided to take my UK Driving Test there were a lot of habits and ways of driving that I had acquired over the years that Elton was so very focused on helping me with. The lessons felt incredibly personalised and not only highlighted what areas I needed to improve on but also the areas in which I might become anxious or worried during the test itself. Fantastic experience: Passed my driving test at the second time of asking with Dom I had around 30 hours of driving and each lesson was made easier as I had done some research in between. Although I failed at the first attempt for something very harsh, I was able to sharpen up for the test with a lesson 24 hours before hand. I passed at the second time of asking at Sidcup. Dom’s guidance and patience helped massively. Definitely recommend the school for new learners in the area!

Fantastic experience: Dom (Dominic Stewart) is an experienced instructor and he listens to what I needed to boost my skills and confident for driving. It was also fun taking lessons with Dom as he creates an easy and approachable learning atmosphere for learning. Fantastic experience: I hadn't driven at all in 20 years and needed some refresher lessons before an upcoming road trip. Elton is an excellent instructor, very clear and careful in his explanations and understanding of my situation. We started with the very basics: using the pedals, gearstick, signals, before moving on to tackling some junctions. Once I was comfortable again with these we practised some more complex junctions, got used to being amongst other traffic and finally covered motorways and country roads. All of these things will be very useful to me. I had five lessons with Elton and I already feel much more confident returning to the roads. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I was late to pass my test at 29 following a crash at 16 that knocked my confidence and ultimately delayed my desire to learn. Elton really helped me build up my confidence in the car again after learning on and off over the years and helped me to build safe habits. He was super flexible and punctual with lessons and helped me fit a block of lessons in during a period of time off work. Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic learning experience at Taylor’s! My driving instructor was Dipak, originally a new instructor to the school. Even though he was considered “new” he had over 10 years driving experience in London and was clearly trained to teach absolutely anyone. He was professional from start to finish, however we still managed to form a close personal bond on our once a week lesson. He was calm, clear, and concise. I learned things I could never learn from the book, nor I believe from any other instructor, such as tips, tricks, and easy ways to remember complex manoeuvres. Not only did I pass my exam the first try, but I feel I can confidently say I have learned how to be a safe driver for life !
