Fantastic experience: Holborn school of motoring is a great central London find. Even though there was a waiting list, as soon as an instructor became available its was an easy process from there. Kem made driving simple for me and went above and beyond to help me pass my test. When the DVLA changed my test last minute he visited my work place to help rearrange the test. I would highly recommend both Kem and The Holborn school.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Holborn School Of Motoring for your driving lessons. I specifically mean Elisio who has been hands down the best instructor I’ve ever had. He is attentive, gives good advice and is the best teacher to learn from. A bonus is that he is not the type to trick you into paying for more lessons and he doesn’t do it for the money, he is an instructor that only wants you to learn and to pass. That is his main goal. Hence this is why I recommend him because I passed with Elisio by my side.

After a terrible experience with Red Driving School I was left feeling anxious to be on the road. But with Richards patience and calmness was up and running in no time. Negative experience: not a good experience with this driving school. I had a foreign driving licence and knew how to drive, I needed some sessions to get back into it wrt UK roads/rules. My instructor George was mad most of the time, to the level that it would make it impossible to focus - I went to and took a test following their advice on how many sessions I would need (I did more than 10 sessions) but I failed the test. The school was quite unsupportive on helping me with the second test, and I have to go elsewhere to find a driver for my new test (contacting them 6 weeks ahead). Don't recommend.

Fantastic experience: Learning to drive in your late 30s can be quite nerve wracking I must say and it also being in central London doesn’t make things better, but Taj made me feel comfortable and safe from the minute I stepped into the car. Today I passed my driving test on my first attempt which wouldn’t have happened without an experienced instructor like Taj, he’s extremely patient and will make sure you’re a 100% ready ahead of taking the test. I can’t recommend Holborn School Of Motoring and Taj enough.

Fantastic experience: Taj Khan was my driving instructor. He was always punctual and prepared for every lesson, and knew exactly what would be asked on the test. It took me two tries to pass the test, but he was very encouraging after the first attempt, pointing out where I needed to improve and where I just got unlucky with a tough examiner. Lots and lots of patient practice sessions across the test routes. Taj is also fun to be spending that many hours in a car with; I learned a lot about British culture! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Jus passed today w Kemal with 4 minors best instructor ever recommended by Rob I only had him for like 4-5 lessons and I learnt so much from both Rob and Kemal in that period on top of that Kemal really helped me psychologically on the test day because I was a whole bag of nerves some reason even tho I was familiar with the area and my general driving but overall both instructors I have had since joining Holborn driving school (Rob and kem) I had in that time of driving were absolutely the best, super friendly, very funny and talkative and making sure they taught me as much as possible and preparing me very well for the test!!! Fantastic experience: I could not recommend this driving school enough!! I had a 5/5 star experience from start to finish and I will actually miss my driving classes with Roberto! I walked in to inquire about driving classes back in 2019, and was immediately impressed by the staff’s politeness as they walked me through the entire process (provisional licence, theory test, etc.). As a non-British UK resident, this made me feel at ease and taken care of. I only got round to starting my classes in March 2023 because I was personally terrified of driving, but that fear soon vanished once I started learning manual driving with Rob. Safe to say I now really enjoy driving, and with Rob’s help I passed my test on the first try! He answered all my questions, made me practice anything I wasn’t confident with, and offered excellent tips on everything from manoeuvres to UK driving customs. On the day of the test he helped me keep my cool and gave me some last minute suggestions, but most importantly he made sure I was calm, confident and ready to take my test. I have already been recommending Holborn School of Motoring to anyone I know who’s interested in getting their UK driving licence, but in case you were looking for a sign to book your first driving class with them, this is it! Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend this driving school more. Roberto was the most amazing instructor. He is a really gifted teacher, always patient and with a great manner in skilfully picking up on what I was struggling with and explaining things in different ways until I "got" them. He took me from never having driven before to passing my test first time in under a year. He was a real pleasure to learn from but also a really great guy; I genuinely miss my our driving lessons!

Fantastic experience: Passed at Hendon at first attempt, all thanks to Richard's transformative instruction. The man will not give up till you lose bad driving habits, and I had so many. May seem overbearing at times, especially if like me you weren't used to safe considerate driving, but bear with it, trust Richard, he knows what he is doing, and you won't regret it. I've booked a few lessons with George as well, at short notice, when Richard wasn't available. Special thanks to him for adding confidence to my multi-lane roundabouts, and tricky traffic lights. George manages to be both chill and demanding at the same time. Amazing! The school's admin was super efficient helping me, where possible, shift the booked slots due to my circumstances. Very professional, straightforward and helpful. No funny business. Thank you Jiji and Roberto, apologies if I'm misspelling the names.

Fantastic experience: Learning how to drive with Richard from The Holborn Driving School was a blast! He's not only a hilarious and amazing person, but also a patient and supportive instructor who made the learning process a breeze. I'd recommend him to anyone who wants to learn how to drive, and I'm pretty sure he can even teach a cat to drive (as long as the cat has a valid provisional driving licence of course)

Fantastic experience: I had a test in two weeks and my last driving instructor said I was not ready so Holborn School of Motoring gave me a driving instructor named Khurram who went out of his way to teach me at last minute within those two weeks and I passed with no faults. I highly recommend you choose Khurram to be your driving instructor.

Negative experience: I had an instructor called Taj and he’s one of the worst instructors I’ve had. He was such a money hungry person that will just make me drive in roads without teaching me manoeuvres he once tried making me do 3 hour lessons 4 days a week and wanted me to pay him 1.5k within that month. He’s is a really terrible driving instructor who just doesn’t care about how u improve and just wants his money. He always cancels and reschedules and then cancels again which indicates that’s he’s not a appropriate driving instructor There was also one lesson I did with him which the tire of the wheel was deflated and he spent my whole 2 hour lesson pumping the wheel. That’s £60 down the drain with this guy I finally found a better instructor who actually puts time and effort unlike taj and I finally have more confidence unlike taj who used to shout and scream alot Don’t go to TAJ! he’s a money hungry driving instructor that’s doesn’t care about you improving

Fantastic experience: I did lessons with Taj, and had a great experience! He is a great instructor, always keeps calm and made me feel confident and comfortable whilst driving. I felt extremely prepared for the test, and he even took me on the routes that I did during my test. I was able to pass my practical my first time thanks to Taj. I highly recommend!!
