Fantastic experience: Started in August with Nathan, he quickly got me confident on the road being able to practise test routes to gain the most experience behind the wheel. Which had me confident on my test passing with 5 minors.

Fantastic experience: My instructor was Rich, he was a great driving instructor and just a really nice guy also. I would 100% recommend people to go to him as he helped me pass first time even though I was feeling a bit under the weather. Thanks Rich!!!!

Fantastic experience: After having two negative experiences with other driving schools, I made the best decision to book my classes with The A Team. I had no prior driving experience and was too scared to think I would ever be able to drive. Thanks to Tez, I’ve gone from that fear to becoming a confident driver. This week, I passed my driving test with just two minors! Tez is the best driving instructor I could have hoped for. He teaches skills for life, not just for passing the exam. He was my third instructor (the other two were from a different school in a different area) and he really brought my confidence up. Fantastic experience: I decided to try out the A-team based on online reviews and I wasn’t disappointed. I took classes with Mo (initially) and Neil because I was trying to decide between manual or an automatic drive. Both tutors were really pleasant and I passed my test with no minor/major faults. I absolutely recommend the team.

They answered me the same day giving me Mo’ s phone number . I called him and we agreed for 4 lesson . Mo has been very professional and he gave me all the professional and training I needed . Fantastic experience: I came here because of the five star reviews....and I'm happy to add another to the list. I did the PassPlus recently, and my instructor Tez was fantastic. Tez is extremely knowledgeable on the theory behind driving and learning alike. He has a very calm manner and has a way of instilling confidence in the learner to allow you to achieve what you want to. The PassPlus includes driving at rush hour, on motorways, country lanes and at night time. Although daunting at first, a few minutes behind the wheel under the expert guidance of Tez allowed me to achieve experience in all these areas that the standard driving lessons don't cover. I highly recommend the PassPlus, and specifically Tez, as he made me a better and more confident driver, always full of useful tips that will last you lifetime. Top man, thanks Tez

Negative experience: Awful customer service. It seems like a teenager is running it - phone line never works and communication is done through messages which gives very poor unprofessional feel and look to the business. The tone and the grammar was off through messages, often had to wait weeks for reply or message multiple times just to get a reply - WAY to much hassle just to get an instructor - it’s quite ridiculous - or maybe there’s only 1 or 2 instructors working? I don’t know but I waited over month and a half for an instructor to become available and still couldn’t get one - it’s waste of time I found one elsewhere within a day! So don’t waste your time with this business as there’s no professionalism nor available instructors like ever

My instructor Ifty, was amazing, filled me with confidence and picked up on everything I needed to work on. After a negligent driving instructor let me down after my test i had to find another driving instructor which was quite stressful. Fantastic experience: We contacted the team after an unsatisfactory experience with our previous driving instructor who had let us down one week before a driving test date. This came after a recommendation from a friend. We were lucky that Richard contacted us and with some re-scheduling was available for my sons test date and a lesson before. Whilst he did not pass his test at first attempt this was due to his confidence being knocked from his previous experience, coupled with needing to get to know a new instructor and car. Richard worked with him over the subsequent lessons and we are thrilled to say we now have a qualified driver! Richard was friendly and approachable, always happy to discuss progress. Highly recommended and we will use this company again.

Ifty was very good at squeezing me into his very busy schedule and always made me feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel so that I was as prepared as possible for my test, which I passed with only 2 minors. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend, can not fault any part of the experience from day 1. Andy is great at making you feel at ease and in getting you confident behind the wheel. He is knowledgeable, patient and makes so much effort to teach you in a way suited to how you learn and understand. Also I passed first time, one fault. That says it all.

Fantastic experience: Both my son and daughter had Richard as their driving instructor. He taught them in a very methodical way, each time building confidence. The children enjoyed the lessons and built a good relationship with him. My daughter had swapped to a different instructor for a short time because of Covid but it wasn’t the same and she went back to Richard to prepare for her very delayed test. With my son, being post covid, he took the theory test asap after his 17th birthday and we booked the driving test immediately for 5 months later as he was so keen. Richard worked with us to add in extra lesson some weeks so that we could get practice in with home asap. He passed first time with no minors. Richard also lent us a mirror so that we could use our own car and the kids took all their later lessons in our car. This worked so well because it gave us flexibility over the test dates. Richard dealt directly with the kids to arrange lessons which was good for them but was always willing to update us on progress. We would recommend Richard to our friends. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Rich is a credit to driving instructor's. Not only did he listen to Luke while teaching him to drive. He also went the extra mile by making sure Luke was relaxed and confident before taking his test and passing first time. Rich really does have a great way with people and is genuinely not just one of the nicest people out there, but by far one of the best instructors. Rich was super accommodating and managed to squeeze me into his schedule just 2 months before my test date. He worked around my budget and hours, was very patient with me and pushed me hard to ensure I got everything right. Honestly couldn’t have done it without Rich and would recommend him to anyone.

He was very friendly, calm and patient. Lessons were so fun that I will genuinely miss them now that I have passed. He made sure that I was test ready and gave me a pep talk just before my test to help with my nerves.

I was not a very confident driver to begin with but Ifty helped my understanding through his structured teaching methods. He is flexible in terms of his schedule and would always find the right times to fit me in for lessons. I would recommend Ifty to anyone learning to drive.

Fantastic experience: I was taught by Neil back in 2017. He was absolutely amazing, really boosted my confidence and I passed my practical test first time! I had a bad experience with a company prior but Neil got me back into it and I passed my test quickly! Cannot fault him at all, we had a right laugh and I would recommend him to EVERYONE!!

Fantastic experience: Ifty at the A-Team driving school is a cut above the rest. Like all gems, I heard of him through a personal recommendation. I'm an older learner at 28, and I didn't take to driving naturally. We started late December 2021 once a week, and slowly increased the lessons as my test approached (which he accommodates to the best of his ability). Ifty cares about you becoming a great driver, not just someone who can pass the test. His students tend to pass the first time, and even for people who struggle like me, I passed the first time yesterday with only 1 minor fault (you're allowed 15 in a test). Ifty gets you to better-than test standard. He's been teaching for over 20 years, and he doesn't miss a thing. He wants you to develop good habits for when the driving really starts, which is after you pass the test. I had a great experience with the A-Team Driving School, and the result speaks for itself. Fantastic experience: I had Ifty as my driving instructor, he was very patient during lessons, helpful when giving tips to improve my driving and also when providing instructions. He was extremely flexible with schedules and always managed to fit me in for lessons. He gave me so much confidence in my driving ability since the off and therefore has allowed me to pass my test first time. I cannot recommend him enough to new learners.

Fantastic experience: Had failed 3 tests before I found Richard, had my confidence knocked and beaten, but Richard was clear, calm, and patient. Helped me boost my skill and confidence so that my first test with Richard I passed with one minor, can’t thank him enough. Nice guy, great instructor!

Fantastic experience: I had Richard as my driving instructor. He was patient during lessons and very helpful with instructions and tips to improve my driving. He was always willing to try and fit in lessons with me especially as I had limited time coming back home during university holidays. We had to stop our lessons during COVID and then I went off to university but Richard has given me so much confidence in my driving since I’ve been back and enabled me to pass now. I highly recommend him to learner drivers and he’s now teaching my younger brother!
