Fantastic experience: Gary Chappell was the perfect driving instructor. Within 22 lessons he took me from not even confident to turn round corners to passing my test first time with 2 minors. He showed patience every lesson and knew exactly how much information to share and give me throughout the lesson. Gary had great knowledge of the test centre routes and shared lots of tips throughout each lesson. I couldn't recommend any higher. Thank you Gary!

Fantastic experience: Never in my life did I expect that I would pass first time, but Ian helped me smash it. He just teaches you what you need to know, and is very patient, which is the key. He always makes sure your in a good mood when your driving too which helps and knows all the methods to make you feel calm and confident. You know he won't put you forward for your test until he feels your ready either, meaning there is no waste of time, thank you very much Ian for getting me through it, and helping me achieve freedom, I can't believe it!

Fantastic experience: Taught by Gary Chappell, who was very patient and went at my pace for learning (which was slower than the average). He was always friendly and never made me feel inadequate for needing to take breaks or change lessons due to chronic illness. I would recommend him to anyone who might have anxieties about driving. He was always happy to talk me through what the plan was for the drive before we set off and showed me the routes on the map The PassNGo online booking system was easy to use. I passed first time!

Fantastic experience: Gary has been absolutely amazing from start to finish, I had a few other instructors prior to meeting Gary and had really awful experiences with them, with one even stating that I would never pass my test. However upon meeting Gary he was very patient, reliable and made me feel at ease. I also ended up passing my test after a few months of having lessons with him ( lessons once a week ) and past first time which was yesterday. I can’t thank him enough and would 100% recommend him as an instructor to anyone.

Negative experience: Avoid This Driving School - Unprofessional and Dishonest My experience with this driving school has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. I initially enrolled on August 1st, specifically requesting a Yaris as the training vehicle. The customer service representative assured me that this would be arranged, so I went ahead and made the payment. However, after two weeks passed without any progress or updates, I contacted them to inquire about the status of my course. Shockingly, they claimed that they had not received my payment, even though the money had been deducted from my account. I provided them with my bank details for verification, and they eventually "found" the payment. When I asked why it had taken them two weeks to locate it, they refused to provide an explanation, which was utterly baffling. On August 20th, I finally received a message saying that an instructor had been assigned to me, but it turned out that the instructor did not have a Yaris. I contacted customer service again, only to be met with denial. They claimed there was no record of my request for a Yaris, despite their earlier confirmation. Throughout the entire conversation, the representative showed no remorse or accountability, acting as if this was not their problem. Frustrated, I requested a refund immediately, but was told that they could not guarantee it. I insisted on speaking with a manager, and eventually, I received an email confirming that a refund would be processed, provided I submitted my bank details again. I complied the same day. Three days later, the company called to ask what my request was. I reiterated that I wanted a refund and reminded them that I had already provided the necessary information. Several more days passed with no refund, so I called customer service yet again. This time, they initially denied ever receiving my bank details. After I forwarded my previous emails to them, they finally admitted they had the information but then falsely claimed that I had only sent my bank details on the 14th, completely disregarding my earlier communication. Their constant contradictions and blatant lies were infuriating. When I asked them to read out the contents of my supposed "14th August" email, they refused, claiming that the email was their property—even though I was the one who had sent it! After wasting nearly a month of my time, they eventually agreed to process the refund. The entire thing was a nightmare from start to finish, characterized by disorganization, dishonesty, and complete lack of professionalism. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this driving school at all costs. Their customer service is chaotic, and they show no sense of responsibility or regret for their actions.

Fantastic experience: Shoutout to Richard Whareham who helped me from a complete beginner to a certified driver on the road, if you are starting to learn or wanting to this is the place to do so.

Negative experience: Can't recommend: -Waited months to be assigned an instructor -Assigned instructor was chronically late and cancelled lessons -I requested a new instructor only to be added to a new 3 month long wait list -They won't refund my hours so I'm faced with the decision of accept a £300+ loss or wait for another instructor with them, who after the quality of previous one, let's face it will probably be just as chronically late These companies do not care about your business. Once they have taken your money your experience could not mean less to them.

Fantastic experience: I found Pass n Go through a Facebook post in a local group about a new instructor in the area. I started out with Adam Roper for a month or two to get me back into driving, as I'd previously had lessons with another instructor but had to stop. He was great and got me back into the swing of things. I then changed over to Richard Wareham when I moved house, which was a seamless transition as Adam got me in contact with him. Even with his busy schedule, Richard got me booked in as soon as he could and did late lessons to accommodate when I finish work. He was always on time, is a great teacher and chatty in lessons (which helped ease my nerves). The main thing for me was that he always pushed me, which I think is what contributed to my driving skills improving so much. We moved my test back which I was initially upset about, but I knew his judgement was right. After just 3 or 4 more lessons in 2 weeks I booked a cancellation and... I passed first time! Thank you Adam and Richard!

I was quite hesitant to start driving after being in a car crash, however, from day one John was really helpful, patient and kind. He is an amazing driving instructor and he's excellent at his job. Fantastic experience: Purpose based training and great instructor Pass N Go helped me to get through my practical test in a matter of weeks. I was new to the UK and was not familiar with UK laws and driving manners. Sudi Hora, my instructor had over 10 years of experience in training drivers and was able to quickly identify the issues with my driving. This was assessed upfront, and I was given intense training with a focus on developing these. Sudi’s coaching has helped me not only to pass the test but also to improve my overall driving skills. Sudi is very clear with his communication and has a method of training by explaining the logic and safety risks around each mannerism and actions to be observed during driving, which I thought was very effective. I had to change my test date one time due to some personal commitments and Sudi helped me to accommodate the test slot into his schedule by moving other things around. I have had driving lessons from multiple countries and with different instructors before coming to the UK, I would say Sudi is no doubtably the best of all, with a great passion and commitment towards what he is doing.

Negative experience: Without a doubt, the worst company I have ever interacted with. They are a sham and I advise everyone to STAY CLEAR. From the reviews and my experience they seem fine so long as you have no problems. I have been trying to get a refund for around 2-3 months now because they charged me for lessons a driving instructor did not turn up to. I have called their phone number almost every day and emailed once a week too and I have received not ONE singular response. Customer service is abysmal and the only reason I haven’t given up is because they have taken £600 off of me. What sort of company puts so little effort into customer service?!

Negative experience: Hi Lee Dunbar I understand you have difficulties in life that you had to cancel my first session twice last week and this morning. But it is very difficult for me as well to prepare my time for the session but being told later on that it's been cancelled without notice after you not showing up. Moreover even impossible to contact you to speak up of what's the solution for the problem. If you cannot provide the service at least let customer know before the session start with potential solutions like rearrange a time/change instructor. As other persons might also experience difficulties and need to pass the test, I am not happy at all with all the services I have paid for. Ian.

Negative experience: Waste of money and waste of time. My driving instructor Simon was the worst driving instructor ever!! He didn’t teach me anything properly all he did was teaching me how to drive on empty roads. He did not pick me up on my practical test date ! Do not waste your money avoid this company. Also when I rang the company to say I want my refund there is a guy called Martin he made me cry over the didn’t listen one word I said and hung up on me. I DID NOT PAY YOUS TO MAKE ME UPSET AND CRY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL….

Previously I’d been a very nervous and jumpy driver but I felt very relaxed with Richard and in control of the car. As someone who has failed past tests with other instructors and found the whole experience of driving stressful, I can’t recommend Richard enough as I have my full confidence back now after just a week with him and actually enjoy driving now! Negative experience: My daughter bought 10 lessons and was assigned an instructor. She informed him in advance she had already had over 50 hours driving with a previous instructor but decided to switch to Pass n go when he told her to cancel her test as he didn't want to work over Christmas. She has had 4 hours of lessons and he is going over all the basics again. She had done all the maneuvers and been on motorways but the Pass n go fella is just taking her around streets. He has been late for each lesson. Pass n go no longer have a contact number, probably because of all the complaints, but they don't answer any messages. She has asked to be assigned a different instructor but it is impossible to get any communication from this sham of a company.

Passed my practical driving test today after approximately 40-50 hours of lessons throughout the year. Would definitely recommend David Eden for automatic lessons in Newcastle and Pass N Go as a company. Very nice examiner at Gosforth, made me feel comfortable and calmed my nerves.

Fantastic experience: 10/10 for my instructor George Cata couldn’t of asked for a nicer person - he has excellent teaching methods and took his time to teach me in the best way to suit me. Every lesson was planned out and I was always looking forward to my next lesson and in the past that wasn’t the case with other instructors! I would recommend George for any new learner as he made me feel at ease and confident for my test However the customer service for pass and go aren’t very good as I phoned up before I pre paid for some lessons just incase and they said I would be fully refunded for the remainder now they say I need to pay £10 admin free or give them to someone else who is learning who I know

Negative experience: PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE - Paid £648 for 24 hours and then tried to book lesson with an instructor who was unable to take me and then given a 12 week waiting period. Requested refund since the wait is long and have been charged £15 admin fee to process the refund. Told 12 week is written on their website which I obviously cannot see. Pathetic customer service. Never coming back to this school ever again and recommend not paying this company upfront. Fantastic experience: Ciprian has been a fantastic instructor. He was very good in explaining the rules and road signs in UK driving. I was very anxious about driving after long break but he ensured that I understood the concepts and explained with lot of passion. He believed that I can do and motivated to take test. Gave an opportunity to learn through practices and mock tests. Gave valid feedback after each tests. I should be thankful PNG for providing such instructor else I would have not passed my test in first attempt at the Gosforth test centre, Newcastle upon Tyne.
