Fantastic experience: My instructor Terry Bale was a very good instructor and I was very satisfied with his teaching style. Terry has a very nice personality, a good teaching method by going through things gradually and a good car to drive making him a perfect instructor for any learner driver. Each lesson I did with Terry I felt I made progress with covering different areas of Milton Keynes, he was very well spoken, went through things slowly and made sure you understood where you were going and what you had to do in different situations on the road. Throughout the months I learned with Terry we covered all the main roads and all the manouveres. Terry also had a very calm and easy going demeanour which made him ideal to use if your nervous about going out on the roads for the first time or struggle with anything in particular such as spiral roundabouts or overtaking on dual carriageways. Despite me having to learn to drive whilst working nights at asda and having autism I passed my driving test with Terry with only 2 minors and that was largely to do with Terrys style of teaching of covering different areas, going through things slowly when driving, helping understand priority and mirror checks, doing mock tests too prepare for my driving test, never getting frustrated whilst teaching and much more. On the whole I was very happy with Terry as a driving instructor. I would strongly recommend Terry to anyone wanting to learn to drive automatic cars, regardless of your age, experience, gender, race etc. as he’s an instructor suitable and supportive too anyone with an interest in learning to drive!

Fantastic experience: My Driving instructor Rafi was off the highest quality, very attentive to detail on the road and making sure you learn everything possible for your test. Everything was very quick and smoothly done from the first lesson to the test day. Couldn’t ask for a better teacher to get my license.

He is extremely good at his job- with clear instructions, tons of patience and constant good advice. He is also very professional- his car is always spotless, he is always on time and he is really personable too. Negative experience: I am deep frustrated and disappointed regarding the repeated cancellations of my manual driving lessons. Over the past few weeks, I have had four different lessons cancelled by your team, with four different instructors, despite providing you with four different locations, postal codes, and dates. This ongoing issue has left me completely dissatisfied with both your service and your professionalism. Each time, I have taken considerable time and effort to schedule these lessons, adjusting my personal commitments and ensuring I was available. To then have each lesson cancelled at the last minute is not only incredibly disruptive but also disrespectful of my time. It seems as though Drive Johnson’s is completely incapable of maintaining a consistent schedule or providing reliable instructors.

Fantastic experience: Stephen davey taught me in St Albans could not of asked for a better instructor. Very friendly great person who can have a laugh and be serious with you too during lessons. He was an immense help to me and made me excited to learn more driving every week. Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience with Drive Johnson’s and I would definitely recommend the company to anyone who is wanting to learn how to drive. The training of their employees is top notch. My instructor, Noor from Whitechapel, is a prime example of this, as he was remarkable. With his patience and flexibility, I excitedly passed my practical test on the first go! I honestly couldn’t have don’t it without Noor and his teachings. The cost of learning how to drive today is definitely expensive (especially in London). However, Drive Johnson’s prices are a lot more reasonable compared to some of the other companies on the market. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience learning to drive with Naim, and was able to pass first time. He is very friendly, professional, always on time, and helps explain every aspect of the test, the likely test routes, and what to expect on the day. During the lessons, Naim maximises your driving time whilst also clearly explaining the different junctions and related theory using an iPad guide, which is a great mix. He also takes great care in working on your weaker areas in the run up to your test which gives you great confidence going into it. I can highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Stephen Davey taught me in Watford, Learning with Stephen made me more confident and comfortable behind the wheel. Unlike my previous instructors, who focused only on passing the test, he taught me how to truly drive, which helped me pass on my first attempt.

She helped me improve my driving skills. She is one of the reasons, I passed in my first attempt. She was also promptly available for my test date at a short notice.

Negative experience: I lost £128 with driveJohnson's - be careful I am appalled that the driveJohnson's took £128 from my account because it said that it had "expired" due to not being used within 6 months, even though the driving instructor was told that lessons could only recommence on return from university. Spoke on the phone to Meghan, then to her supervisor, Phoebe, who checked with her manager, Nicki, but all I was told was is that is the Company's policy. Absolutely no justification provided.

Fantastic experience: The biggest THANK YOU to my incredible instructor Kuldip Singh. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. His patience, encouragement and skill in teaching has lead me to pass my test first time, within just a matter of weeks!! Many years ago I started lessons at a different driving school with a different instructor and I had such negative experiences that it made me give up. That, combined with moving abroad several times over the years for work, made me lose hope with my driving and feel like I was never going to pass my test. Just about 8 weeks ago I decided it was time to try again, so I called the first driving school that came up on google when I searched ‘driving instructors near me’ - well let me tell you, I struck GOLD getting Kuldip as my instructor. From the moment I got in the car for my first lesson with Kuldip, his calm manner gave me so much reassurance, more than I’d ever had from any instructor in the past. I was very nervous getting behind the wheel for the first time in years, but Kuldip helped me build my confidence as well as my skill in driving, faster than I could have ever imagined. It goes to show how important it is to have an instructor who believes in you and encourages you- and Kuldip did exactly that. Because of how hard it is to get a slot for driving tests at the moment, I wasn’t able to book a test in our local test centre- I instead booked a test in another town as it meant I could take the test at a much earlier date- Kuldip took the time and effort to take me for lessons in that other town, despite it being out of his usual teaching area. He put in all that extra time and effort so that I would be comfortable for the test and have a clear understanding of the roads around there. Luckily it all paid off, and this morning I passed first time! It’s hard for me to believe that just 2 months ago I was a nervous-wreck and scared to get behind the wheel. Today I have a pass certificate in my hand and can confidently say I am a safe driver and I actually enjoy it!! Anyone in the Windsor/Slough areas needing to learn drive- there won’t be anyone better than Kuldip Singh at Drive Johnson! A million thanks!!

Negative experience: I registered my interest in lessons with this company a month or so ago and on three separate occasions now they have contacted me via text or email to let me know they have availability, I've called up and have booked in a lesson and received confirmation, and then they have called me back a few hours later to tell me that they don't have any availability and will have to cancel my lesson! Would be bad if it had happened once, but for it to happen three times is ridiculous. If you don't have availability, why are you contacting me to tell me you do and I should get in touch?

Fantastic experience: Rob Thomas was an amazing instructor. He knew everything and helped me through everything. A genuinely down to earth person and it was a great time learning to drive with him.

Fantastic experience: Drive Johnson quickly helped me find a terrific instructor, Kalaa, who I’d highly recommend. Kalaa is experienced, patient and able to really explain complex driving manoeuvres (like roundabouts) in ways that are easy to understand and take on board. He also is really encouraging and lets you know when you’re doing well! Passed my test with his help!

Positive experience: I passed my driving test 2 weeks ago and I am absolutely over the moon about it. However, I have had to give this review 3 stars as I started off with a terrible instructor by the name of Clio Opposun, she only had me circling Horsforth and not taught me anything else such as parallel parking and never gave me any clear instructions when driving and I felt that I was being extorted for money by her. I had to part ways with her as her organizational skills and attitude was completely abrupt. She caused me to push my test back and caused me 4 weeks set back with no lessons until I was assigned a new instructor and pushing back my test date Moving onto the positives, Saleem was absolutely outstanding when it came to improving my driving, he identified the gaps I struggled with straight away and that he was in agreement that after the last instructor improvement was needed. I failed my test first time around, but I was grateful that Saleem was able to give me an earlier date. Thank you, Saleem, for helping me pass the test, and I am looking forward to getting my first car.

Negative experience: Honestly 1* to this company these guys I told them I had a test however they decided to set me up with unprofessional driving instructors each time, this is me being honest I thought it was just once so I booked another 10 hours with same company they did same thing and each time the instructor I found it hard to understand what they were saying.When my booked hours were are almost up they would both say there not affiliated with drive Johnson’s and charge higher prices for the lessons £37/38 also unprofessional meaning they would be talking on phone whilst in lesson (i did tell them) and my second instructor would ask me to stop the car in my lesson to pick up the phone and also not informing me, who has a test upcoming that they’re each both going on holiday!! 1* and never booking with this company

I just passed my exam today in Bletchley and I am so grateful to my driving instructor Thomas, he has been so nice and professional each driving session, he provided me with learning materials and booked me for driving lessons every week, despite his busy schedule, he managed to offer me driving lessons in the weekends to accomodate my work schedule (I work Monday-Friday). I struggled so much with roundabouts and all the manœuvres, but his techniques are very easy to learn and memorise, I feel so comfortable to drive everywhere now. I recommend him as a driving instructor to everyone, if you think about starting your first driving lessons soon or you're looking for a new instructor, he is very patient, calm, he never shouted at me even once, he explains everything very well, in a way that you can understand it. He was always able to offer me advice not just for driving, but for life in general. It was an honour to be his student and I wish him all the best. Again thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: Rafi has been an excellent driving instructor! He has been very supportive and really brought my confidence back. He was reliable and honest. He helped me recognise my skills as well as areas of development and guided me along to a first time pass. Learning to drive has its highs and lows but I could always count on Rafi to pull me through the tougher parts until I achieved my goal. Fantastic experience: Stephen Davey taught me in St.Albans and i passed first time no faults thanks to his lessons. He taught things in simple terms which made it really easy to pick up and understand concepts while being honest and critical where it mattered in preparation for my test. He was also a calm and relaxed instructor who I felt comfortable driving with and came to enjoy with our chats. I never have to have lessons with him again which is probably the biggest compliment to a driving instructor!

Fantastic experience: Johnson's Driving School is more than just learn how to drive, is confidence, is safety, is a good conversation trying to keep nerves under control and much more. The car is just what people need, easy to drive and doesn't matter if you lost a bit the control because the instructor has also the control of the vehícule with the instructor pedal set ready to stop any collition or just to fix any inproper movement. Added to this you have the app wich allows you to know everything about the test and some techniques to make your driving experience more easy and enjoyable. Johnson's Driving School prepared me so well that the driving test was just like any other lesson, relax because I knew what and how to do any single request coming from the examiner. Actually I passed the first attemp. I have nothing to say but thank you for your help, knowledge and pattience. I couldn't choose a better deiving school.
