Fantastic experience: Stephen was really a good instructor with really calm and patient demeanor during my sessions with him. I failed with 1 major in 1st attempt but cleared in 2nd attempt. While I had to find another instructor as my exam was far away but I absolutely recommend Stephen in E16 area if anyone's planning to take lessons. He's calm, composed and gem of an individual

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking to start driving abbies driving school is the place! They are patient and understanding. They have amazing instructors. Mine was a man called Billy he has the most knowledge about driving and made me feel very comfortable/ confident and corrected my mistakes without making me feel bad. I passed with only 2 minors! Fantastic experience: I’m lost for words! I had Ibrahim since April teaching me how to drive around barking. It’s now October and I’ve passed. I will say a few things about this instructor and that is he never gives up on you. He is supportive, kind and thorough! He would always find time in his busy schedule to make sure he slots you in for a lesson. Time and time again he would be so patient and teach you tricks and tips that you can’t forget. Ibrahim has been the best instructor I’ve ever had. If you are looking to learn how to drive and are looking for an instructor I’d recommend going for Ibrahim. He’s is sooo good and diligent! Fantastic experience: Today l passed first attempt at barking center with Abbies Driving School my instructor name is Sabiha . I really recommend her, she is the best so professional and so nice person.

Negative experience: I had Kamrul/ Mohammed Islam for 6 months. Wouldn’t recommend him at all. Didn’t go over everything even though he said I “was ready”. Never went over one way roads, and this lead for me to fail my test. He received over £1k from me so the least he could do is teach everything, and be honest whether I am ready or not. He would only pick up those who live in barking or Dagenham. Not even East Ham despite my address being a 10 minute drive. No support after my test. And had just said “better luck next time” . I am not sure about the other instructors, but I wouldn’t recommend Kamrul at all.

Fantastic experience: I'm really really going to miss my instructor Abi now that I've passed, she has been such a great teacher and support throughout my learning to drive journey. She gets people and what makes them tick, which enables her to flex her teaching style to get the best out of her students. She's funny, kind and incredibly knowledgeable. Her years of experience mean that nothing phases her - she's seen every type of driver both in her car and on the road and she uses her experience to impart confidence into her students. I cannot recommend her highly enough, especially if you are a female student and looking for a female instructor.

Fantastic experience: I would like to highly recommend Driver Instructor Billy, after an emergency change of instructors I have contacted Abbies one week before my driving test, Billy was the one who took my case and managed to squeeze 10h of lessons with home before my exam. He is an amazing person, helped me so much with my confidence as a future driver, and cannot thank him enough as in this morning I have passed my first ever driving exam and all because of Billy patience and good skills in teaching me.

Fantastic experience: If you want to pass, get Hanif. Simple. Hanif was patient and the most encouraging instructor I've had. He had a special way of correcting me which didn't make me lose confidence and confidence was my biggest barrier. Within 4 months of practice I managed to pass and I can say its because I had Hanif. Fantastic experience: My instructor was Ibrahim and within 8 hours he’s taught me how to drive in the real world, understand road markings and road signs. Ultimately I’ve been able to pass first time through the help of Ibrahim and would highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: I have just passed on my 1st attempt at Wanstead with Abbies! I need to give massive credit to my instructor Imz as she had the best approach to get me over the line. She is very patient, very skilled and adapts her approach to all levels of learning. I was really nervous on roundabouts, dual carriageways and with certain manoeuvres - Imz built my confidence up and made sure I made I practiced, researched and practiced again until I nailed it.
