Fantastic experience: I went to the training with no experience and passed. My trainers where paul and dave they were supers any mistakes i made the fixed with explanation when i didn’t feel confident they shown me how to. These guys are legends

Had the pleasure of dealing with all of the guys, from cbt with Paul, dave and Pete, went onto do full bike test, where was under petes instruction, honestly all great guys very enthusiastic about bikes and your general safety, fun educational years of knowledge between then, would highly recommend for anybody looking to do cbt or bike test️

Fantastic experience: Honest review, I booked a DAS course with tests at the end, in Exeter. Although I live elsewhere in Devon . ( Exeter is not the easiest place too navigate) Arrived on the first day not knowing what to expect. I was soon greeted by a big smile and a great welcome from Dave G my instructor . Instantly put at ease , knowing he would be with me all the way to test . His teaching style is easy to follow , direct and very patient . Dave's passion for motorbiking is infectious and inspiring , nothing is every to much trouble . An absolute credit to humanity let alone motorbike training . Passed both test 1st time under Dave's tuition . I would recommend J.c motorcycle training to anyone that would like start/further there motorbike Training

Fantastic experience: Really nice and friendly people, teach you all the routes around and in Exeter. I did the three day course with my MOD1 and MOD 2 tests on the same day which I passed both first time thanks to them! 100% would recommend to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I had a brilliant experience here completing my cbt! The guys are fantastic instructors, clear, patient and above all friendly. You'll learn everything you need for riding out on the roads. I'm sure to return for my full motorcycle licence!

Fantastic experience: Me and my son just had CBT training with JC Motorcycle training in Newton Abbott, the two trainers Pete and Pete were excellent and made the training interesting and fun, we had a great day and I would definitely recommend JC Motorcycle training.

Negative experience: Had some training with JC Launceston and in Exeter - passed everything first time apart from MOD2 (probably due to previous experience riding a fair few years ago) , when I failed on something due to lorry pulling out I was told by my instructor 'i was expecting that anyway' (in other words to fail) even though a day before was told had all confidence that I can ride perfectly fine and he wasn't worried ...... Was told to rebook where I could ( exeter or Launceston) and would sort out another lesson and bike etc ..... After finding a cancellation in Launceston I couldn't get hold of JC in Exeter or Launceston for days ..... Went to Facebook to see if overnight they had closed doors as hadn't heard anything at all.... I said I was fairly disappointed due to not hearing anything and in a panick they are ignoring my messages after booking a test .... The response I got was in short ..... I'm busy and good luck finding a bike elsewhere.... So I was ignored due to them being busy , didn't even just say 'sorry I have no availability' ... Just ignored me for days ..... Anyway used another company learned more in 6hours than 3days with these clowns and passed with flying colours .... Don't use JC they are stuck in the stone age and if I didn't go elsewhere I'm more than confident I wouldn't of passed again due to the amount of things I was being taught or not taught should i say.... Don't waste your money and go with a proper school .... JC good for CBT anything else don't bother....even in Exeter when instructor was running late other riding schools said 'yeah that's normal for JC' and also when arriving on the first day asking for JC almost got a look of 'ow your not going to pass with them' .... They have been around along time but especially in Launceston you'll learn enough to pass if your fairly competent already , from a complete beginner don't even bother

Fantastic experience: I took my CBT with Rich, on a quiet Sunday morning. After a previous bad experience doing a CBT in London, I was fairly nervous going in. However right from the get go, Rich was paitent and thorough, taking the time to explain things in greater depth so I understood the science behind why the bike does what it does. After a full day of off road training and on road training, I gained my CBT certificate and am now confident to go on and work towards getting my full license. I would highly recommend J C Motorcycle Training, if you've had a bad experience in the past with other schools, then give them a go if you can build up the confidence, and ask for Rich!
