Fantastic experience: Very happy. Great guy and very friendly. My experience throughout my lessons and test's was perfect couldn't have asked for a better instructor 10/10

Negative experience: I asked for a mod1 mock test at Mallusk Test Centre. To which he agreed. Then he messaged me. The only way i was getting a lesson was if i drove all the way from Belfast to Larne along the A8 to a practice area in Larne. I asked for the address of the practice area and said i would ask a friend to hire a van and bring my motorbike and me to the address. He refused to give me the address and said van hire would be too expensive. To which i messaged back. Thanks but no thanks. No sane person drives on a dual carriageway without a full licence.

Fantastic experience: Its was my first time riding a bike and within 10 mins Al had me feeling at home with the bike. We where out on the road and his instructions and directions where perfect. As an instructor hes a brilliant fella and easy to talk to with plenty of banter.. i cant wait until our next ride until my next journey towards my A licence

Fantastic experience: Al is a champion teacher. Very straightforward, no nonsense approach but patient and able to approach problems in different ways. A good variety of well maintained bikes (Suzuki Gladius for me at the time) that can be adapted for riders of different heights etc. My friend and I done our Direct Access with Al and have recommended him to several others. Very accommodating with getting bikes to test centres with retests as well, if needed. Full of good chat too, always a plus! 125, 650, 1000, new riders, returners, refreshers, all could benefit.

Fantastic experience: From my first phone call to book my CBT right through to my manoeuvres test and finally my road test, Alan has been great. Reassuring all the time yet constructive with criticism when he needs to be. I would definitely recommend him for lessons he’s a true professional. An added bonus if learning with Al is he knows every coffee shop and supplier of quality sausage rolls

I've completed my CBT, Manoeuvres test and road test for category A motorbike with Alz Bike School and it was a pleasure from start to finish. Who knew learning could be so much fun!
