Fantastic experience: Went to the trail riding taster course at the Footscray Kent centre with my son as a present. Had a very enjoyable session with Vince as the instructor. He was very professional knowledgeable and experienced,about trail riding and biking in general,giving us tips on how we should be positioned on the bike , hazards we were likely to come across and what contacts we should make should we wish to progress. The bikes and kit were all well maintained. I would certainly recommend the taster course if you have never ridden off road before.

Fantastic experience: Great day on Salisbury Plain. Signed up for the entry level 1. I went mid-week and was lucky enough to have one to one coaching from Justin. Very patient guy and obviously enjoys his job. Felt I improved rapidly throughout the day and left wanting more. Thanks Justin!

Fantastic experience: Did Level-1 last year, came back for Level-2 this year. Had a great day with Justin. You couldn't get better for instruction, guiding and a great day out. Phoenix provide the bike, all the gear and lunch. Justin knows Salisbury plains like the back of his hand. I ended up with 6hrs of one-on-one tuition/guiding. With their instructor ratios it will only be 2-1 at most. Looking forward to going back again next year. No need to look anywhere else, best value by miles.

Fantastic experience: Had a great day with Justin and Dennis today. I was really out of my comfort zone but I was given the confidence to be able to conquer my ‘fear’! Had a few moments but was still laughing at the end. I would totally recommend anyone to use this company and get out there and do it. I had a lowered Honda due to my inadequate inside leg measurement and am looking forward to learning more skills going forward. The course is tailored made to ability so no matter what your level or experience I would check these guys out!

Fantastic experience: From researching where to do an off-road motorcycling day to receiving joining instructions, and then attending the day, Phoenix were brilliant. Everything was professional and clear. Our instructor for the Salisbury Plains centre, Justin aka ‘The Salisbury Plains Stig’, was exceptional. He was relaxed, friendly, and hugely knowledgeable. I learned so much regarding getting the fundamentals of enduro riding correct. He challenged the group as we progressed through the trails and gave concise and workable feedback. This course with the SP Stig is highly recommended via Phoenix. Find them online.

Fantastic experience: Easy booking process with convenient dates available. Justin is an excellent instructor with many years experience of trail riding to pass on. Started off in the field for the Level 1 course working on technique and bike control before heading off to the byways. With great feedback from Justin my confidence built over different surfaces pitched at the right level. Covered 50 miles in the day and returned for a cuppa and the I've ridden with the Salisbury Plain Stig sticker! A great fun day out with brill lunch and amazing views. I've booked Level 2 already!

Fantastic experience: Excellent day with the Salisbury plain stig! You’ll learn at a pace which is just enough to make you feel like you’re really making good progress, but not so fast that it feels unmanageable. There were 4 of us plus 2 instructors on our ride and we always went at a pace all could cope with. You will likely fall off but the stig will help you gain your confidence again by pointing, laughing, and taking photos! Couldn’t reccomend pheonix enough for anyone wanting a taste of trail riding in a fun environment where you arent just thrown in the deep end. Lunch is included at a local farm shop cafe and is honestly fantastic! You’ll also bag yourself the much sought after and exclusive ‘i’ve ridden with the Salisbury plain stig’ sticker, not available anywhere else and worth the price alone! Book yourself in!

Fantastic experience: An excellent experience and genuinely a 5 star day. I thoroughly enjoyed the day from start to finish. Justin was great and built confidence from the field at the facility to blasting along rut alley at the end of the day. The small group size max 4 (may change) was also excellent. Incredible value for a whole days riding with so much ground covered and of various types and terrain. If you require it then all the kit you need for the day, is also available from Justin and is included in the price! I will certainly be returning for another day and would recommend this to all riders to try something new or continue to develop your riding skills. I learnt lots, but most of all I had an a huge amount of fun doing it.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant fun! Justin is a great tutor, teaching us the basics before letting us loose on Salisbury Plain. Confidence built very quickly and by the end of the day we wondered why it all seemed tricky earlier on in the training field! My road confidence also improved too especially with the current state of our roads!! Don't think about it, just do it!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely awesome day on the trails. The guys took us on some wonderful routes with spectacular views, long stretches of trials. They really tailor the route to the trainee.

Fantastic experience: I tried trail riding with Phoenix for the first time yesterday and had an absolute blast! I'm a fairly inexperienced rider and the skills I learnt yesterday will, I know, help my road riding considerably. The instructors couldn't have been better, fab skills, lots of patience and plenty of laughs. It was hard work, very muddy but super fun. Can't wait to go again.

Fantastic experience: After riding for nearly 45 years I had an end of life crisis and bought a Honda CRF 300l to try green laning ,soon I found out that it was totally different from road riding So I decided to go on a course to try to improve my riding .it tuned out to be a fantastic experience and a great day ,the greeting was great and straight away made me feel at ease even the tea was good ! although I had all the gear I only use my boots as they supplied every thing else .The structure of the course was excellent and built up the skill level and confidence level with each demonstration and practice and never made you feel under any pressure at all there encouragement was superb ,so after the basic training we then were taken out to the local byways to practice which again were pitched at the right level and again with lots of encouragement from Adam and Paul the instructors after a stop for Lunch and a total of around 45 miles we then returned to base. In conclusion a great day can’t wait for the next .Well done
