Professional Biker Training

Fantastic experience: Today I did CBT there, really good people in their place. Thank you for your time and patience. I recommend this place to everyone to start their adventure with motorcycles.

Fantastic experience: Space and Sam are a great teachers. They care for you to learn how to survive uk roads and have fun riding motorbike. Thanks to them it took me 6 days to do my full cat A license (would take 5 days if I didnt make silly mistake on my first mod 2). They are very friendly instructors but will not hesitate to tell you off when you do something dangerous. If you want to ride bike I cannot imagine better school!

He will also tell you when you balls things up too!!!! I had a fantastic experience and would recommend to anyone wanting to ride a bike wether it’s CBT or full license

Negative experience: Didnt even get booked in for training called the number provided and was met on the other end of the phone with a grunt the person I spoke to didnt identify themselves or even say that i had reached "Professional Biker Training" when i asked for availability they simply said no i have nothing until mid july without giving me any dates or asking if id be interested in booking later that month very unprofessional and i would personally choose to support a different training company.

Fantastic experience: This is 1 of the if not the best motorcycle schools in the country I have done cbt mod1 and mod2 and passed both first time with space he is an awesome guy to learn from he makes it a fun experience and eases your nerves he finds the technique that works for each student he understands not everyone learns the same way and takes the time to find YOUR WAY if I was to need any more training this is the only place I would go infact im going to send my daughter there for her cbt top bloke space thank you best in country

Fantastic experience: After a few bad experiences with other schools I passed Mod 1 first time with PBT under the tuition of Space, his methodology of training harder than the real thing pays huge dividends when doing the test, he's a really smart guy who knows so many facets of the motorcycling world and plus he's the kind of bloke you could have a pint with comfortabley, I believe this made for a great experience all round. I will not hesitate to be back for the Mod 2 ASAP :)

Fantastic experience: I did my CBT with these guys having never had driving lessons and having close to no experience with motorbikes, and the way they demonstrated the basics and talked through road safety was fantastic. As a complete beginner, I felt confident on the road under their wing, even though it was my first time on public roads. I was the only one without a full car license whilst the other students had full licenses, and the instructors never talked down to me, and they took us through the basics and advanced on only when everyone felt ready to move on. Definitely recommend for a true beginner or an experienced driver wanting to try out motorcycles.

Fantastic experience: A great experience all round. Fantastic that they are still open for Key Workers in these trying times. Space, the instructor, was fantastic. He took time to assess my prior experience and tailored the course around it. I highly recommend PBT.

Fantastic experience: I had never had any sort of experience on a bike before, I have always wanted to do it so I bit the bullet, I went for the option of learning on a geared bike as I knew it would be that bit more challenging than a sit and screw. I was totally nervous and tense whilst learning the basics on the trailer park, to the point I was telling myself I couldn't do it and was almost ready for throwing the towel in to save myself anymore embarrassment, the instructors were brilliant. Despite my lack of confidence the patience they had was unwavering, I was told I could do it and I just needed to relax more. They totally understood that I was a novice and they wasn't patronising in any way shape or form. With their encouragement I got my bottle up and went out on the road, once on the road I was a lot more comfortable and came out with my certificate with relative ease. I would 100% recommend these guys. They didn't turn it into a lesson, they made it easy to learn, and we had a bit of fun along the way. 5 stars from me.

Fantastic experience: Great biker training school. Completed both CBT and DAS with Space the instructor. He provides a really tailored approach to understanding your individual needs as a new rider. Everything you could want, friendly, realistic, straight talking and most of all he'll get you through your tests. If you've always wanted to get your motorcycle licence and be competent and confident, this is the training school for you!

Negative experience: Untrustworthy and lazy. Make sure you get an invoice before you pay, I paid for a 3 day course that they convinced me I needed - paid upfront and in full. There was a cancellation on the second day to put me through my mod 2, the instructor knew it would be a waste of time going through with another days training, so we went over to Wakefield to take the empty test slot and I passed with no issues. When we got back to base I mentioned squaring some money up; the instructor agreed in principle as he could see I hadn't had the three days training which I had paid for. He came up with some lame excuse, then went something like "I'm not very good with the internet banking, I'll get my partner to sort it out tonight." After no progress and a few days of being ignored by the instructor mentioned, I then got a very rude phone call from his business partner. We argued for over 10 minutes, and as I was busy away with my girlfriend, I kind of conceded as I didnt want it to ruin our trip or to drag on any longer. His argument was that because we had started an hour earlier on the second day, I wasn't entitled to any of the 150 pounds that they had kept for the full third day. After a long time explaining that we could come to an agreement to deduct an hour from it, and I would be happy to pay for the extended day 2... he tried to get rid of me with a 25 pound cash offer (ridiculous) but as I said I was away with my girlfriend and settled on 50 pounds back even though I was insulted and angry. They are very crafty/lethargic in how they eat into your training time by drinking coffee in their shed and talking nonsense for hours on end. If I were to give any advice to anyone, I would suggest going to a proper firm - not two old blokes working out of a shed
