Fantastic experience: Excellent teaching from Chris. Went above and beyond with his insights and gave great examples and reasoning for each action. Taught to ride, not to pass a test. Look forward to doing my full license with him in the future if possible

Fantastic experience: To be honest, this wasn't our first choice but the centre we originally went tod me that, as I had never ridden a motorbike before, I wouldn't pass a CBT and should ride an automatic first to get the CBT then come back for lessons. So glad they did as I then found Joyriders! Tony was brilliant on CBT day- gave me the chance to ride a manual, patient in letting me get to grips with it leading to me obtaining my CBT at the end of the day through Tony giving me skills to be safe on the road! Cannot recommend this team enough-patient, confidence boosting and, more importantly, fun!

Fantastic experience: Brilliant guys! So patient and understanding working through everything with you so that you can be safe but still have fun! A great laugh whilst you learn, pricing is really reasonable and in an easy to get to location with good grounds to learn on. Could not recommended them any higher, they are the go to guys for learning to ride.

Negative experience: I booked my MOD2 test with Joyriders. What a shower! Throughout the booking process their communications were hopeless. I never knew what was going on with any degree of confidence. They claimed not to be receiving my text messages, although they replied to some and the network confirmed that all of them had been received. They never called me to question, clarify or explain anything. Finally, when I did turn up for the training and test, I was kept waiting for nearly an hour, then they told me that they'd sold the test place to someone else! This has set me back 6 weeks, cost me a day's holiday and also a totally wasted morning. I'm not impressed.!!

Fantastic experience: Just passed my mod 2 and massive thanks to Mick. He's a great instructor so laid back and makes it impossible to feel nervous! It really feels like he gets invested in you passing and it's definetly about the enjoyment of riding and being the best you can. Can't recommend highly enough how great an instructor he is :) don't look anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: I have just completed my CBT today [07.08.18] at Joyriders. I arrived on time and my instructor Tony was waiting for me at the site. He was very friendly, made me feel at ease and you could tell he has a passion for not only riding but also instructing. Having never ridden before I was apprehensive about the prospect of riding but Tony's welcome really did offset first timer nerves. He went through the plan for the day and explained the 5 stages that we would undertake, starting with the verbal introduction to the CBT and why it was put in place (40% reduction in learner biker accidents since implementation), and introduction to the bike itself, some pad work (enclosed car park riding) and finishing with the 2 hr road ride and debrief. The road section of the test is really where you feel the benefit of good instruction, not only are the directions (over bluetooth headset) clear, concise and well in advance of the action you will take but you are also given direction and positive re-enforcement to build your confidence. I noticed how Tony positioned his bike to create space for my Bike and shield his students from car drivers who can drive too close. You really do feel safe and reassured by these little things and your safety is paramount. As for some of the negative reviews on here they really do not align with my experience in the slightest and I would assume them to be very suspect! Thanks again to the team at Joyriders and Tony I owe you one bottle of Dr Pepper! Fantastic experience: The best in th town

Fantastic experience: I would give 10 stars if I could. Can't recommend enough. I have done my CBT with them.There was 4 of us there yesterday and we had Mick and Tony as instructors. They have great dynamic together and fantastic interaction with learners. The whole day is conducted with a bit of a friendly banter which definitely will put you at ease if you never rode motorcycle before. They are very patient and will not move ahead to next stage unles you feel fully confident you know what are you doing. Great ammount of knowledge and patience between them two! I will definitely be back for my MOD1 and MOD2 gents!

Fantastic experience: Did my mod1 & mod2 training with Mick at joyriders. I don't pass anything first time but passed my mod1 & mod2 first time I can only put this down to Mick's training. I would highly recommend for any type of moterbike training, the bike I used for my training was a Yamaha XJ6, the bike was always clean and ready for me to use. I also did not have my own helmet, gloves and jacket. This was no problems as there were a selection of sizes for me to use. If you are thinking of doing your bike training use these guys! Thumbs up, good work Mick!

Fantastic experience: Great day out for 3 of us doing a CBT. 2 of us had experience and 1 was a total novice, first time on a bike. Tony was fantastic. Great sense of humour and was patient with our biking virgin. All of us came away confident and capable and really enjoyed our day. Will definitely recommend and will follow up with our DAS in the very near future.

Fantastic experience: As a learner (first time on the roads or a moto) this was the perfect place me to start. The instructor are friendly and take away from your nerves by using humour, making it easier to relax. I completed my CBT over the course of 2 days, they did this to make sure I had the confidence and control to advance to the next step. Nothing was rushed, I was able to decide with each step. For anyone looking into doing there CBT I could not recommend this place/people enough to do them justice. Huge thanks to Phil and everyone there.

They are so relaxing and patient. Quality is what they achieve. I will recommend this place to everyone I know who wants to learn to ride. Such a calm atmosphere and the owner Carrie is AMAZING. Fantastic experience: Having a had a bad experience with different motorcycle training business in Gloucester, I approached Joyriders. The other company left me feeling thoroughly demoralised. Joyriders dusted me off & with their professional & calm approach to training I easily passed my MOD 2. My partner is now training wit h Joyriders to get her full licence. I cannot fault their professionalism & the friendly approach puts you at ease m, making the experience enjoyable. The negative reviews on here at clearly written by someone who’s delusion - they must be confusing Joyriders with another training establishment.

Fantastic experience: Personally, I cannot fault Joyriders one bit. They are professional, patient and always guide in the best ways suited to each individual. There is no higher standard that I can see set by any other training body that is currently set by Joyriders. Now, just so all know, there are many negative reviews on here and if you are reading this, trust me...they are all false, misleading and ultimately being placed by a single person as part of a very immature attempt to destroy the reputation of what is currently the top motorcycle training body in Gloucestershire. So before judgement is cast, do some research. Look up Joyriders Motorycle Training on Facebook and see the many many testimonials of past students who have passed their tests. Over 95% pass first time. That is the scope of the quality and pride the instructors provide! I trained with Joyriders personally for my A2 and will be back for DAS. There is no other instructor I would trust with getting my licence....the right way.

Passed both first time and that’s mainly down to the great tuition I received, as I have had next to none experience with bikes until now. Absolutely brilliant service all round. Great instructors, well maintained kit, and nice location to learn. Puts you at complete ease, which allows you to really enjoy the whole experience. Fantastic experience: Just completed my CBT with Joyriders - I’m a pretty novice rider but instructor Tony was brilliant and inspired confidence from the start. Really enjoyed the day, training was a good blend of information and fun and I now feel ready for the next step (DAS - Module 1 already booked in ). Fantastic experience: A wonderful group of bikers imparting their vast knowledge in a very friendly and fun way. I would recommend Joyriders to everyone who wants to learn to ride motorcycles.
