Fantastic experience: Stayed in a lodge. Beautiful location by skills course, old golf course. Quiet, pristine lodges, comfortable beds and fully equipped kitchen. Town is close enough to walk to and great pub food if cooking is not your thing. Highly recommended and would be great for small and larger groups

Fantastic experience: Moto Junkies other business, what a gem of a place, I did two days off-road motorcycle training with them and also stopped onside in one of their lodges, stunning location, well equipped lodges, full kitchen facilities in each lodge, beautifully clean, well furnished, proper home from home, everything you could want is here, including a fabulous view of the stars (on a clear night) it is specifically geared for the motorcycle rider but caters for the great outdoors equally, it's an awesome location to base yourself whilst exploring the beautiful Snowdonia, Stephanie, the host, couldn't be more helpful and informative, as a motorcycle world traveller, she really has been there, and done that! The two days of training I did were brilliant, very tough- my fitness let me down a little (need to sort that anyway) but now I feel I could tackle green lanes with more confidence and am really able to assess the obstacles off-roading presents with the knowledge gained, my instructors were patient, professional, knowledgeable and nice people, they really made the whole experience very memorable , I would say to anyone thinking of doing some green laning "get training" it will help keep you safe, and give you the confidence to enjoy your ride more!

Fantastic experience: An amazing location for those looking the perfect base of operations to bike, hike, ride and ramble across the Gwynedd. A very large and clean changing area and shower room is great for getting out of those muddy and wet trail clothes before sitting by a campfire looking over the photos from the amazing locations all around this campsite. Just on the outside of Dolgellau the prices and facilities offered make this a place that will definitely be rebooked several times in the future

Fantastic experience: Having attended an event at MotoCamp in 2023 decided it would be an ideal place to go for a long weekend Camping with our Dogs. As always Steph gave a warm welcome accompanied by Chui & Luna her dogs. Very grateful of the facilities including the ability to dry the soggy clothes in the drying room after a wet day out in the hills. Our two dogs loved having the space to run around without fear of getting lost and Luna was such a wonderful friend to our Mabel by the end of our stay is was brilliant to see all the dogs playing together. Word of advice if you camp in sight of the lodges - bring extra bacon and Luna will be your friend too!

Fantastic experience: I've spent quite a few days at MotoCamp Wales this year, both in the excellent lodges and camping in my little tent. I have only praise for the location, the facilities and especially the people (I was going to say staff, but they are much more and I consider them very good friends after spending time with them). If I could live there permanently I would! Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Attended level 1 & 2 course. Room was great and instructors knowledgable and friendly. Course is very entry level, even the level 2 course. The wales countryside was stunning!

Fantastic experience: Brilliant little getaway accommodation at a great location. Such a cozy little lodge right in the heart of nature, the owners were very friendly and welcoming. I booked last second as I wanted to hike Snowdon and Cadair idris on separate days so needed somewhere to stay. Booked for 2 days at an excellent price but unfortunately the weather took a turn for the worse the second day otherwise I’d have happily stayed longer. Would highly recommend though!

Fantastic experience: Stayed at Motocamp for a get together for a group of adventure bikers. The reception when we arrived from Steph was great and the facilities were perfect. I Didn’t stay in the lodges but some of our group did and they looked great and very comfy. The facilities (for campers) are all clean and very well looked after and there is a really nice chill out area and kitchen which would be great in cooler or wet weather. We used the fire pits outside as the weather was lovely, which were also great. There are lots of places to eat/drink just 10 mins walk away and some of the best trails in the country are just minutes away! Overall very highly recommend Motocamp wales and I’ll definitely be coming back again!

Fantastic experience: Stayed at MotoCamp Wales in our campervan while getting instruction and trail riding the area. Set in stunning grounds the team are friendly and helpful. The showers and toilets were always clean. There is a bar and snug, and a kitchen with kettle, microwave, toaster, cutlery, everything you could need. With things like an honesty tin for fresh eggs, there is a real welcoming family feel about the place. A great place to stay.

Fantastic experience: Just returned from a Excellent couple of days camping , the setup and facilities are first class, made very welcome by steph , if you plan a visit for off road motorcycling or walking camping very impressed and hope to visit again in the near future.

Fantastic experience: This is a great venue. I stayed in one of the lodges. Each lodge has 3 twin bedrooms, a bathroom, hall and open plan kitchen-diner-lounge. Very luxurious, you need for nothing but your food, clothes and toiletries! There are also camping Pods available as well as plenty of space for tents and vans. The site is secluded and really handy for the road links. Barmouth with its long sandy beach is about 20 minutes away by car or motorcycle. It's a great place for a base when riding the unsurfaced roads (commonly known as Green Lanes or Green Roads) in the area. Many of them are quite challenging. I will definitely be back, it's a great place in a wonderful area.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic spot for an overnight or as a base for touring the local roads, trails and the TET. Community spirit for bikers and nice, clean facilities. Walking distance from the town with great pubs and my favourite ever bakery! So welcoming, can't wait for next camping season to go again!!

Fantastic experience: I was on a PEMC motorbike club weekend at Moto Junkies / Moro Camp Wales last month. I'm a road biker, so going off road was really entertaining. I had one of their 3 " PODS", nice and cozy, there is a solar charger in the pods so at least you can charge your mobiles or rechargeable torches. The toilets and showers are down in the main block, and the showers are excellent, large round shower heads deliver loads of hot water to wash away the aches and pains of off road riding. There is an Honesty bar available, but you can also bring your own. The food was absolutely outstanding, we started the day with a cooked breakfast, toast, teas and coffees. Lunch was had in local cafes. The off road riding was fun, and with the 2 guides we spent at least 6 hours out on the roads and off the beaten track. The dinners were gorgeous, and the entertainment was exceptional. We all had a brilliant weekend. A big thank you to Steph and her team for putting on a magnificent weekend. Nev Campbell

Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed our few days here. The location is out of town up a steep hill with beautiful views and peace and quiet. The lodge is clean and well appointed and sitting in the front room looking out at red kites, chickens and Stephs dogs wandering was just perfect.

Positive experience: A large area, quiet, clean, friendly and good value. You are left with the impression that they could make more of the space available

Fantastic experience: I have attended a few guided weekends with the team now.. big bikes.. small bikes..the accommodation is spot on.. the food is great and the team are friendly knowable and patient.. I would recommend anyone to give them a try..

Fantastic experience: Can't I add more stars? It needs them. Stayed here for a two day training course. Steph and her crew were brilliant. Jack and Sam managed the course brilliantly. The hire bikes were perfect for what we were doing. This particular course was for beginners; Jack and Sam pitched their training perfectly. It was obvious that they were able to ride and train at a much higher level, but they were always positive and encouraging. The accommodation was great too. What more can I say?

Fantastic experience: Fantastic location and a friendly welcome. This place has it all especially for those involved with two wheeled activities. Despite the Moto designation its also a perfect location in the Snowdonia National Park (or Eryri if you prefer) for other pursuits such as hiking and other outdoor activities.

Fantastic experience: Steph and her team deliver a fantastic laid-back facility for your biking pleasure. The lodges are excellent value, really comfortable and are missing nothing. The site is in a beautiful location and everybody is so friendly and welcoming even the dogs & chickens.

Fantastic experience: Stayed in one of the lodges for a road skills course recently and was really impressed with the setup. We had a twin room with shared bathroom & living area including kitchen. Breakfast was self service with high quality ingredients! (Best bacon & free range eggs ever!) and we were fully catered for in the evenings with locally home cooked food which was perfect after a long days riding! Brilliant atmosphere & vibe. Looking forward to visiting again!

Fantastic experience: What a lovely bunch of people. Situated in a glorious hillside destination with fabulous views, what a base to start an adventure from! Facilities are spot on, safe and dog friendly and even if you are not riding it would be an ideal place to stay and explore Wales from. Looking forward to returning next year!
