Fantastic experience: Just done my CBT there felt extremely looked after even out on the road the instructor was extremely patient and allowed me to take my time and not rush. Parts of the CBT after going out on the road for a bit we stoped at a petrol station and rested were he answered questions i had and showed me how to manover which made me feel more confident with going around aroundabouts and junctions. Made sure i was comfortable on the bike and didnt rush me he took time to build up my confidence which really helped me with operating on the motorbike.

Negative experience: Bit dangerous in a public car park.outside their office....gloves wet did not fit ..Motorcycle with Greg overheated ..you want to learn in a business park ok...and the barking dog ..name forgot...on each occasion prior to A1 test sort of meet you and can't be asked.. Mature riders keep cleat.. ginger dog...

Fantastic experience: I recently completed my Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) at RTS Lisburn and found it to be an exceptional and well-organized training program. My trainer, Damian, demonstrated extensive experience and professionalism throughout the course. Despite not having ridden a bike for several years, Damian's expert guidance and provision of vital information, coupled with his own experiences, proved invaluable. I intend to return to RTS in the near future to undertake my full license training. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Frank Miller, the backbone of RTS, for his unwavering support and assistance during my training.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking to get your licence or even just your CBT then RTS is definitely the place to go. In just less than 5 months I managed to go from someone who had never rode a bike to now having my full A license . The company are easy to use and very friendly. You can borrow helmets, jackets, boots, gloves etc for lessons if needed.. The instructors Greg and Damien are very patient and make learning seem fun and easy while still being professional.. I'll actually now miss my lessons lol..

Fantastic experience: I booked a full access course with RTS which means zero to hero basically. Having never rode a motorcycle before i didnt know anything about a motorbike. RTS took the time to explain every single aspect about safe and responsible riding whilst training me on the likely off road tests routes. They were always available to help me and the instructors Gerry and Damien (they have other teachers but i only ever seemed to get the same 2 teachers) were brilliant. Really nice team of people who will help you as much as they can. A great bunch of lads! I could say more but i will just finish by saying i would highly recommend RTS.

Fantastic experience: Great value for money. I did my Direct Access which included lessons, helmet, jacket, gloves, boots, Bike hire for both tests (When i started my lessons I didn’t have any of the above) with RTS and from start to finish they were nothing but professional. The instructors that took me Gregg and Damien are both very patient and knowledgeable. The days before both my tests I got booked in for a lesson (2 hour lessons) and both Gregg and Damien made sure I was leaving confident and well prepared for the test the next day, spending extra time with me before my Module 1 test to make sure I was ready. Frank the owner was very helpful throughout with making sure I had lessons booked in especially day or so before the tests. Due to the bad weather my Module 2 was cancelled, Frank contacted the test centre and organised a retest date for me, this was months earlier than what the test centre gave me. The bikes are well looked after and very easy to handle. Would highly recommend RTS!!

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Colin, Frank and Damian for the great instruction and helping me along the journey to get my licence. Fairly relaxed training and generally welcoming. I did the direct access course and was on the road within a couple of months. You will do your off road training moves in a car park area in an industrial estate, which maybe isn't ideal but it forces you to keep within the lines and prepares you well for mod1. Cheers guys!

Fantastic experience: Want to say a massive thanks to Frank(for putting up with all the constant booking of lessons and test and then getting cancellations ), Greg and Damien for putting me through my CBT, Mod 1 and Mod 2 for the direct access licence. Having not been on a bike since a massive smash in 2006 they gave me all the help, training and tips that I needed to get everything passed and back on the road for this coming summer. Highly recommended RTS if you are considering doing your bike tests

Negative experience: Similar experience to what others mentioned, booking and organisation is all over the place. Said they'd call me to complete the second half of my CBT (which I'd already paid for!) as soon as a slot was available, after waiting 3 weeks I called and they just said the same thing - never heard from them again.

Negative experience: Poor instruction, old bikes using a cheap one way communication system. Sent me out on a bike with a dead battery if the bike stalled it needed bump started. Didn't inspire confidence

Negative experience: Booked for my son's CBT 2 weeks in advance, both took a day off work at our own expense being self employed, drove from Belfast to lisburn with a very excited son only to arrive and be told by Frank that there's no instructors, leaving myself and son extremely disappointed and upset, not even as much as an apology, ended up booking with Ian's driving school, do yourselves a favour folks and avoid this Mickey mouse set up like the plague, worst experience I've ever had with a so called professional business, should be ashamed of themselves

Negative experience: Booking is the worst about this place, building is very awkward to find as there is a one way system to get into the place, got booked in for 25th October and drove from Belfast to Lisburn over 30 minute drive and got told that instructors are off with covid but are available for tomarrow which makes no sense, not good

Fantastic experience: Unreal experience, sound environment, great instructor... I felt extremely comfortable from the get go, I'm usually very nervous when it comes to things like this but genuinely felt so comfortable after 15 minutes. 10/10 Go RTS and you won't look back ;)

Negative experience: Unprofessional, I was double booked and ended up having to go the lisburn branch. Belfast closed but they didn't tell me even though I was booked into the belfast site. The instruction was incomplete, I've since found out parts were missed. The person training with me complained ( correctly) about the way he was spoken to by the instructor. Like I say unprofessional from start to finish!!!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic school with down-to-earth professional instructors who are willing to work with you. I was able to do my CBT over 2 separate days with a friend. I also Cannot recommend Stevie in particular highly enough, fun and down to earth instructor who puts no pressure on your shoulders. Full of real world advice and tips. With the occasional joke thrown in of course .

Fantastic experience: Great motorcycle school. Have done CBT in years gone by and got category A later on. All my family got their licences through here too. They have branches at Boucher, lisburn and larne and always good availability for lessons. They prefer small groups (2 learners) or lone riding so don't worry about being lost in a pack, you'll get individual attention at your level with things phased in - less experience and you work your way up to a 600cc from a 125 and 400 rather than dropping you on a big, heavy bike! Colin very level headed guy, great teacher. Thanks guys!
