Fantastic experience: Thank you so much Dan and Julian for helping me complete my cbt today. These guys are amazing at helping new learners achieve their goals and will teach you everything you need to know from start to finish to complete your test and I can add that they are really nice people and made it comfortable to ride with. Would really recommend anyone who is looking to do their bike test

Negative experience: After several phone calls and emails i never received a reply, therefore they have left me no choice but to leave this negative review. After paying £180 to complete the CBT, i never got to complete the course due to time restraints. I was in a group of 4 novice riders, not enough space for all to ride, time restraints meant that if the modules were not completed on time, you would not be able to go out and complete CBT on the road and would need to return paying anther £130. My partner completed his with just 2 riders on the course a week prior, Another friend also had the same problem as me with too many inexperienced riders, also running out of time. I believe that if there is more than 3 people booked on the course there is not sufficient time to practice the manoeuvres and complete the modules before taking the test. This is their way of insuring you return and having to depart with more money. Don't waste your time with these guys. After further research there are other companies in the area where you pay for the course even if you have to return for whatever reason there are no additional costs.

Fantastic experience: I had a great day here and learned a lot about safety and the use of the bikes. The instructors Julian and Daniel were really easy going and helped when it was needed. They made the day really enjoyable. I would most certainly recommend this place. The only thing if I was being picky, is there wasn’t any spare drinks. It was a hot day and being there all day, I did need some more water but other than that it was great fun and educational.

Fantastic experience: Two of us had Dan carry out the CBT training and test. We covered a lot of theory and safety, offsite manoeuvres and Dan was perfect all the way through. The two hour road test through busy Gloucester had good instructions and we both passed; thank you Dan. It’s a shame that Dan cant take me through the big bike training and test in a few months time.

Fantastic experience: I did my CBT yesterday on a 50cc scooter and passed. We covered a lot of important topics practically and theoretically. The instructors name is Dan - he was very patient in the car park and on the road. If your considering a good place to learn then this is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: Did my first ever CBT today, with my Dad It was my first time on a bike properly. Julian is an awesome instructor. Very patient and thorough with his advise. He helps you improve in area's where you are struggling, and doesn't tell you how to do something if you already know how, which I find allows more time to focus on the area's that need improvement. Very relaxed and enjoyable experience. If I decide to do my Mod 1 and Mod 2 on a 595cc, I'd like to do so with Julian. Thanks Julian.

Fantastic experience: My son went here today to do cbt for he’s moped he got on his bday. Unfortunately failed his first cbt. With Stella motorcycle training. This cbt trainer took my son out and he has passed. Well happy. I’d defo recommend this company.

Fantastic experience: Doing my CBT after over 30 years of not riding was scary. Phil, the instructor, was very patient and tried to put me at ease. The day passed quickly and I definitely benefited from the advice and practice. Completed my CBT and passed my theory 4 days after, I will go back to Riders for my Mod1 and 2. Thanks Phil.

Negative experience: I've been trying to avoid giving this bad review for ages but nobody seems to care about customer service here ,so here we go. Booked a CBT training with them, paid the deposit asked about 2 months in advance and was looking forward for the training day. Took a day off work,Travelled 1 hr to the training centre and 5 mins before my arrival I recieved a phonecall that my test had been cancelled due to bad weather( wich cleared after 1 hr). They said someone will get in touch soon to be rebooked and, surprise, nobody get back to me. Phoned about 3 times with no luck to have a new date so i decided to book with other and I ask for a refund for my deposit. Someone finally phoned and agree to give me my refund and give me a mail shortly after, and 2 weeks later still no email or no refund. I would highly recommend to avoid booking with this training centre as they are unreliable and they customer service is nonexistent.

Fantastic experience: I want to get on a motorbike, so got booked in for my CBT in Gloucester. Had a great day with the instructor Phil, really friendly cool bloke made the whole day very relaxed and enjoyable. Will be returning in 12 months for a Diret Access course. Cheers Phil.

Fantastic experience: Excellent, thorough and patient instruction. Phil is a real character and super informative, offers plenty of time to really explain, experience and nail everything necessary for CBT. Totally enjoyable and successful day. For those it would interest I'm a 54 yr old guy doing CBT for the first time. Recommend Riders (and Phil) every time.

Was so nervous to start but he really put me at ease and I almost couldn’t believe it when by the end of the day we were riding around Gloucester! Can highly recommend.

Negative experience: I have paid the deposit and booked my cbt and when i turned up the gates were closed and no one was picking up the phone

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience with Phil. Really good and patient instructor. Would seriously recommend!

Negative experience: Had four students but only two bikes so spent half the day standing doing nothing, and about an hour standing alone in the open carpark whilst instructor took out half the group as he couldn’t supervise all of us. Had an hour break on top of that. At the end of the day, instructor said there wasn’t enough time to get the full cbt done, and offered us another day to finish it for a large additional fee. If I could give less stars I would, as it was clearly designed to get students to pay for additional teaching time as there was no way it could be finished in a day with that schedule. Went through another company for a cbt after and the instructor agreed it was absolutely shocking. Do not waste your money EDIT: In response to the company’s reply, this was before the first lockdown, and definitely this provider.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this company, this was my first time doing my cbt an I was very nervous and Arthur was very helpful and encouraging and if you make any mistakes he will give you tips an advice on how to correct it, it was an absolute pleasure being taught by Arthur or my I say King Arthur, thanks for everything.

Fantastic experience: I don't often leave reviews, but for something like this I feel like people need to be able to make the right choice when booking with an instructor. Arthur was excellent, the perfect balance of friendliness and guidance, clearly very knowledgeable but also had the time to hear other people's stories from the road. Really can't fault the service today, and am definitely going to book my A1 here. And an added bonus of the day: was relaxed and a really fun day, especially if you're lucky to get a nice bunch of fellow learners. Thanks again Arthur!

Fantastic experience: Very punctual school, it was nice to get there early this morning and everything was already being set up. Arthur was a great guy, very personable and chatty. For anyone who may be a little nervous he will get you through with a smile. He's honest and very knowledgeable, you should have no concerns about this school at all I couldn't recommend enough.

Fantastic experience: I completed my CBT with Arthur (1/03/18). I had never ridden a motorcycle before, so had booked the Pass Plus to ensure I could come back if I didn't pass first time. The day was fantastic! I went from being a motorcycle novice, to feeling confident and calm on the road in just a matter of hours! Arthur tailored his teaching style to suit each pupil, and was so reassuring. I highly reccomend Riders - and will definitely be using them for the next step in my Motorcycle journey.

I consider the day's learning to be good value for money, including the equipment that I needed to borrow, my crash helmet and gloves missed out on all the fun as they languished on the sofa!! After two hours + on the roads of Gloucester, I'm looking forward to lots more sunny days of biking, and I will be back when I'm ready to move on to big bikes! Thanks Arthur
