Fantastic experience: What can I say that's not already been said, Willem is a old school gentleman, a gentle giant with plenty of patience. He doesn't raise his voice, he is straight to the point. He tells it like it is in a polite calm way you can take in and understand. I've thoroughly enjoyed the whole process thank you Willem your a bloody good instructor whom I highly recommend. Willem is a great character and easy to get on with and most importantly he is passionate about motorbikes. I came to them with no prior experience with riding a motorcycle and managed to pass both my mod 1 and mod 2 tests on the first go. I opted to go for an intensive course and I managed to learn to ride a motorcycle in 2 months. What I have learnt from the instructors extends beyond just riding a motorcycle and is something I will keep with me for the rest of my life. YOU WILL NOT REGRET CHOOSING WILLEM OR CHRISSY AS YOUR INSTRUCTOR!

Fantastic experience: What can I say about this fella! An absolutely top tier teacher and what’s even better is that he’s a great character as well, there was never a dull moment and I’m sure his former students would say the same! He really cares about perfecting your skills so you can get through your test as fast as you can but also with the highest possible degree of excellence and training. At the end of the day when you get on a motorbike safety is vital and Willem really does ensure those factors are instilled into your brain, so even if you’ve never ridden a bike before don’t worry because he’ll help you with everything. Would highly recommend even if you’re a novice or have prior experience and want a few refresher courses! I’d give him 6*’s if that was possible!!

Having completed my CBT at the beginning of May and then having an accident in my garden and unable to complete the rest of my course. After passing my CBT with Willem last September I got back in touch with Willem to progress to my big bike test. After 2 big sessions (one of which was extremely wet) I passed. Great friendly service, always better having one on one training Graham.

Fantastic experience: Willem, was a great instructor, made me feel very comfortable and at ease. The one-to-one sessions were very constructive, addressing and working on my weak points and building my confidence. Even though my test was postponed 2 times (due to COVID lockdown) Willem made the necessary arrangements to rebook my test and squeeze in extra refresher lessons. Fantastic experience: Today is a very important day to me. Thanks to Willem , I passed my mod 1 and mod 2 motorcycle tests back to back. I can now say proudly I am a motorcycle rider. All privileges like nodding to all other riders , the weekend nip to the seaside for tea , along with some serious touring are now mine. I can’t thank you enough. If you want to pass (and what I really mean is pass very very well!!!!) then Willem is the man to help. Clear instructions, supportive , constructive criticism , but with praise when it’s due! He builds on what you can do and helps with anything that’s not so natural . The one to one tutoring in my opinion made my journey to licence holder a lot quicker. Fantastic experience: Willem is extremely attentive, and has shown time and time again throughout our training that as well as wanting you to become the best rider you can be, he is also considerate of the welfare of his students and ensuring that a plan can be put together to ensure that you are able to train based on your needs and around your schedule. When personal issues meant that I couldn't focus on my training, it was also easy to reschedule and rebook sessions.There was even a session when I was struggling to ride at my usual standard, so Willem advised we stop and rebook it for another day. He understood that there was no point in continuing if I couldn't focus and we couldn't have fun. Willem being both an experienced rider and instructor, as well as a kind person, will do whatever he can do to help his students, which is a perfect combination of qualities for anyone who is wanting to learn to ride.

Negative experience: I originally had a few lessons with Willem after contacting him on his website and there is no doubt in my mind that he is an excellent instructor with whom i very much enjoyed our time together. However it should be noted that he is not an instructor full time and getting in his diary can be difficult. Back in October i paid £250 for a lesson that we had to cancel due to the rain. Due to my personal circumstances, i originally wanted to complete the training in a month. I have since moved away from Doncaster due to work and re organising a lesson (which was offered) here no longer made sense (220 mile round trip). Despite constant chasing over the past 10 months, through which time i have had responses, disappointingly i have still not had a refund and used "friends and family" on paypal at his request, so cant lodge a complaint formally. Its with a heavy heart i leave this negative review as i do believe he is an excellent teacher, but his position when it comes to money has completely soured the experience. Reply - i did not cancel any sessions, original one was rained off. No opportunity to rebook another workable session from my point of view. Help was provided to try and rebook another session, but never just to actually give a refund for money owed.

Fantastic experience: I met Willem today 26/06/2020 and he should keep what it is like to ride a motorcycle. His teaching is amazing, I would not ask for a better coach. After going to do my CBT at another place and didn't really get along very well, Willem took me and should me the proper way of riding. We had a laugh and he certainly knows his stuff about motorcycles. Fantastic experience: Wow what a great instructor, so calm with a great sense of humour. I have just taken my CBT with Willem and I have to say it was a really fun experience. He has boosted my confidence out on the road and has certainly made me a much safer rider. Willem is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of motorcycle training, and rightly so he takes it very seriously, but with some added humour to make it a really fun experience. These are difficult times and Willem has clearly worked very hard to put in place all the necessary Social Distancing measures to make the day safe for both parties. I run a mid sized factory and understand Health and Safety extremely well. I can say that the measures Willem has put in place are well thought out and worked very well. I would definitely recommend training with him and I will certainly be back to complete the rest of my motorcycle licence with him.

Fantastic experience: This is the second time I have gone to Willem for my CBT, the first time was spot on around 3 years ago and after it ran out I wanted to do it again and I did it with Chrissy this time, again it was a smoothly run day and I really enjoyed it, I would definitely recommend Update: I have now passed my A2 test, I can’t fault Willem or Chrissy with the help and support that they have provided me with, they make sure that you’re test ready and comfortable and I will be going to them again for a 3rd time to do my full bike test in a couple of years.

Fantastic experience: I started from scratch 3 months ago. I had purchased a 1969 classic Honda CB 350 and I was itching to take her out for a spin. Willem is the best motorcycle instructor in Yorkshire. Without a doubt. He will mould you into a rider with confidence, ability and his training will keep you safe out there on Yorkshire's roads. Fantastic experience: 1st class instructor. Patient, calm, flexible with times, great bikes. Direct Access done and all passed 1st time under his training within around a month from relative novice; does exactly what its says on the tin.

Training by someone clearly passionate about what they do and seems to focus on turning out riders who know how to ride rather just passing a test. You will be well prepared for your test and more importantly prepared for when you have passed.

Fantastic experience: Willem Louw is the best Motorcycle instructor by a country mile, very patient, extremely knowledgeable and he knows how to have a good laugh. If you can ride, he will tell you, iron out a few bad habits and turn you into an advanced rider in no time. If you can't or have never been on a bike, he will teach you in a very unique way. We had a lot of set backs (ice, snow, cancellations etc) but this never stopped Willem. He doesn't do stress, he doesn't get angry or wound up. He's constantly calm and collected. Fantastic experience: Sound patient guy. Respectful of your experience or lack of experience. Teaches you good riding techniques. Used him for a CBT and will be going back this year for direct access. Won't even consider going elsewhere
