Fantastic experience: After being at a different school I lost interest and confidence in riding a bike. After finding Ride 4 life and speaking to Wayne and Bomber I had my first lesson with Bomber my confidence and enthusiasm was back. Was very nervous / excited and it was extremely well laid out and reassuring to get everyone up to the expected level. Fantastic experience: I did my full license with Ride4Life in 2023 having previously done my CBT on a couple of occasions with them. All the instructors I've had have been good, but I spent a lot of time with both Higgy and Bomber, both of whom were great. In particular, for Mod1 I was struggling with figure of 8 and they let me spend more time practising that skill while others were practising some of the other required skills, and I was very grateful for that. Also, before the Mod1 test Bomber took us to an empty car park before the test and let us have a quick practice - that helped with my nerves too. All much appreciated. Glad I don't have to do anymore training, but if I did I'd use these guys again. Apart from the stress of doing the tests, riding with these guys was enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: I had good few years of riding experience mainly on offroad bikes in different county. I came to ride4life to do my CBT first, to be honest I was nervous to go on a bike after 16 years. It was very relaxing day, instructors are really professional. On a CBT day we had an assessor from DVSA to check the training. Mike has picked me to do the ride with him and the DVSA guy. (NO PRESSURE  ). All went well passed the CBT. I knew, I am in the best place to carry on, and booked my MOD 1 lesson straight away. Bomber went through with us all the Mod 1 requirement exercise, he has a very good eye to spot the potential weakness can cause problem on a test. Then just focussed on these area for further training. What I really like in this place, they are honest, telling you if you are ready for an exam, but not pushing you to buy unnecessary lessons. Successfully passed Mod 1 and Mod 2 for a first attempt, special thank you for Higgy and Bomber for a training and to spot my weakness (mainly to get rid off wrong habits carried from riding in a past). I highly recommend ride4life for everyone who looking professional and friendly instructors who can focus on your weakness and make you ready to pass your exams from CBT to DAS.

Fantastic experience: I had the best time doing my CBT course yesterday! I’d had one previous attempt at a different training centre but Ride4Life is by far the best in my opinion,and was recommended to me. Wayne’s teaching style was very professional but in a relaxed way and this really helped to remove the anxiety and pressure. He has so much patience and makes you believe in yourself. All the instructors I met yesterday gave tips and information to help me on my way to completing the CBT. I enjoyed it so much I want to do it again!!! After I’d completed the training and got my certificate they gave me fantastic advice about where I go from here on my journey to getting my full license. I’ll be back next year to do my direct access training. Thank you all so much x

Fantastic experience: Absolutely cannot fault these guys, did my CBT with them and due to the weather being a bit wet on the day (drowned rats) they let us complete another day, to be honest I needed every bit of instruction I could get to build my confidence. These guys are professional and super friendly with masses of experience if your thinking about getting on two wheels this is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: Couldn't have imagined doing my bike tests (from cbt to mod2) with anyone else. Such a good, friendly, supportive team who go above and beyond to help time and time again. Have a real interest in helping people not just pass their test but also enjoy riding and be the best rider they can be! Bomber especially made passing my tests not only safe and informative, but also made the sessions fun and relatable.

Fantastic experience: I started my riding course off with the cbt course and passed then moved onto the direct access courses and pleased to say that I passed both first time thanks to the training team especially Paul (bomber) his training tactics are top notching straight to the point which helped massively thank everyone

Negative experience: This place was useless to me. I passed my CBT with another riding school, and wanted to go to a school nearer my home. I told them I need help with mod 2 off road test. What they did was put me through the the whole CBT test and mod1, which I had done, and was charged £190. I would have been £200, but having my own bike, they took £10 of. The instruction was poor, he had little patience, and appeared fed up. I was told I needed another lesson with the off road test. This was another £100s. This is what I wanted in the first place. So I am out £290s for something I already had. Did not find them helpful. But they got £290s from me for nothing. I would not recommend them. The cost of trying to get my license is too much. Between having a CBT, and being charged for something I did not need, and more for what I wanted in the first place, my cost was £500s . The idea of having a motorcycle has gone. No bike for me!

Fantastic experience: Excellent motorcycle school, so chilled and friendly. Did my Mod 2 on a very hot day and was so nervous. Bomber Aka Paul was brilliant, and so was higgy on the training, so helpful when I had a mishap on training. Taught me a lot of skills, especially on clutch control. I passed 1st time with them. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I did my CBT here last September, then my direct access this summer and had a brilliant experience throughout. All the instructors were supportive, knowledgeable and always made me feel at ease. As a disabled woman, I was at times really lacking in confidence but with good humor, patience and respect from the instructors I always felt like I could do it; which was really invaluable to me. I spent a lot of time with Bomber and can't praise him enough, I genuinely felt he cared and was invested in my progress. I appreciated the practical demonstrations he gave of the MOD 1 course when needed and throughout he shared his knowledge with the focus being on making me the best rider I can be. I will always be grateful for a fantastic training experience with Ride 4 life.

The guys were all great, know how to tap in to peoples way of learning to make everything that bit easier. There’s no better place to get yourself test ready. Fantastic experience: Did my CBT on Sunday. Even though I have been riding a scooter and I am looking to move into a larger bike(s) I still learnt alot! Really good trainers, Stu and Tony were superb and very patient, yet still got the job done. I can't recommend them enough!! Cheers boys! - see you for my test..... Now 12 months on, I have done my CBT, Theory, Mod 1 and Mod 2. Through the whole journey Bomber (Paul) has been my instructor and has taught me how to ride a bike properly. Bomber was superb and delivered his instruction in a way that I could take in and process. After a Mod 1 wobble, where I made a complete hash of the figure of eight, Bomber got me to practice and demonstrated how to relax and flow with the bike. Great instructor all round. They made me feel so comfortable and I'm a bit scared of motorbikes but, they made me feel like I can do everything!! And I did! No nervous and good vibes all the time!! Fantastic experience: The guys there are super friendly and really accommodating. While renewing my cbt, I asked if they had any space for me to complete my A2, as initially they said they weren't taking anymore bookings. They managed to find a spot for me in 2 weeks time. I then was lucky enough to have 1 on 1 with my instructor for a few of my lessons. It was really nice, relaxed teaching which calmed my nerves. My instructor was great at giving me more confidence and correcting my mistakes. I had my A2 license within 2 weeks.

Fantastic experience: After 22 years out of the saddle at the age of a lot I decided to get another bike. I wasn’t totally useless but I did need to get out with someone who would show me some pointers and remind me of stuff I’d forgotten. The guy that I was put with was Briggsy , a really understanding and competent rider who was a natural at getting his point across. Fantastic experience: Really great team of instructors! I'd never ridden any motorbike before, but by the end of the CBT I was comfortable on a geared 125cc bike. The pace was very good and everyone had enough time to get comfortable with the bikes before heading out for a ride in the afternoon. Great fun too. Recommended!

I have done my CBT with them three times now as I'm not too fussed about doing my test, and they have never failed to be welcoming, professional and thorough, not to mention hilarious! Fantastic experience: I passed my motorbike test 23 years ago and haven’t ridden for about 19 years. I recently bought my dream motorbike and wanted to get back out there but realised my confidence on the bike had completely gone. I decided I needed to do something about it and that’s when I found these guys! From the first minute they put me at ease, they let me go at my own pace and start on a smaller bike but quickly built my confidence to try the 600cc. Fantastic experience: Outstandingly good tuition and hospitality (with delicious refreshments!) from a really great team; I highly recommend Ride-4-Life Motorcycle Training to anyone wanting to learn to ride. They got me safely through my DAS training with first time passes for both mod 1 and mod 2 with far less lessons than I ever expected I would need. They want you to pass and don’t drag out the lessons uneccessarily. They get you doing your tests as soon as you’re ready and don’t let you hold yourself back. Coming from up near Newcastle, I did my DAS lessons with Ride-4-Life during weekend visits to the parents’ and took annual leave for the test days. Thanks to the calibre of tuition provided I was all set after four afternoons of yard work with Paul (Bomber), Dom and Higgy, and three mornings of riding around York with Dom (plus the rides to/from/to the tests which are valuable lessons in themselves!). I even got a nice cup of tea while they sorted out my certificate. Fantastic experience: Excellent. I cannot fault the training I received, and I would recommend Ride-4-Life to anyone. I had two half-days of training for Module 1, and another two half-days for Module 2. I was trained mostly by Paul (Bomber), also also Dom, Higgi and Rod at various times. They are all very different, and they are all superb in their own ways - I learned much more by having the diversity of ideas and methods. Safe, practical, and friendly.

Fantastic experience: Absolute brilliant guys. Cannot fault the friendly nature and professionalism. Dave, Dom, Bomber and Higgi really are the very best at what they do. First time round for me, completed my CBT, Mod1 and Mod2 first time. Let's not forget Dave's wife and the rest of the family for not only making us feel so welcome, Dave's wife actually supplied bacon or sausage sandwiches on a Saturday. If you are looking at bike lessons, either CBT or DAS, then these are your guys I can't thank them enough.

Fantastic experience: Bucket list at 50 CBT tick. What a fantastic day arrived very nervous to do my CBT but was soon put at ease with Wayne in the morning then a fantastic lunch and out with Dom in the afternoon, great bunch of lads and a real good laugh but there passion for safety and being patience is high on there list of standards.
