Fantastic experience: Nick was teaching me, I couldn't quite get the hang of manual but was reassured that I could try an automatic which I found far easier. Everything was pretty straight forward. Even when things went a little wrong nick reminded me that these things happen and that I'll get better in time. All in all great experience, lots of fun and a great teacher

Fantastic experience: Done my CBT with Nick through to DAS with Stew. Very pleased with the service throughout my 5 days I spent with these guys. Just wanted to also pass on my thanks to Jan and Stew for a very quick turnaround and sorting out re-booking my MOD 2 as my it got terminated as the assessor got a flat tyre just as we began to ride. Stew and Jan could of easily have said bad luck as this was out of their control and mine. However they quickly sorted this for me and I was able to take my MOD 2 a couple of hours later. Would recommend KSRT to anyone

Fantastic experience: Having completed my CBT with Nick I moved onto DAS with Stew. Again, I have nothing but positives to say about everyone involved. Stew was excellent and made all sessions engaging and informative but definitely not sterile. He was extremely patient and also humorous and calm. I made him work for my pass and thank him for all his efforts. Jan in the office is super organised and willing to help at every turn. Fantastic experience: My husband attended CBT here, Nick the instructor was excellent, he was nervous as until today he had never sat on a bike and he put him, a complete novice, totally at ease, very clear concise instructions and happy to say he passed. Made us all feel very welcome and comfortable - encouraging questions throughout. As a beginner rider his teaching has really boosted my confidence and it felt great learning how to ride safely. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Kent and Sussex Rider Training more! I was completing my A2 license and had Stew as my instructor. Not only was he a great teacher with lots of knowledge, he was very patient when things went a little awry (my fault!) and always managed to explain things in a million different ways until I found a way that worked for me. Stew also gave up a lot of his time to help me out before the tests and really built my confidence so that I was ready to pass Mod 2 with flying colours! Jan was also great at booking all my tests and being great on the emails so thank you too! :)

Fantastic experience: I took my very first CBT course yesterday and as I am getting on a bit I was quite nervous. However, I just want to say what an absolute pleasure it was. It was mostly all down to Nick who was our instructor for the day. What a top bloke! He had patience, is very knowledgeable in his field of work and made me feel calm with his cheerful, positive attitude. The facilities were great too. Would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you again for a great day. Now to get out and practice a bit more and hope to aim for a full bike license in the future.

Fantastic experience: I did my CBT last weekend, as a complete novice and an old girl. The guys were so patient with me as I was pretty useless. However, they got me through and I have booked an additional couple of hours 1-to-1 this weekend to get me better equipped for my DAS starting in two weeks. I wish them good luck with teaching this old dog new tricks! Also Jan was really helpful with slotting me in for everything after a slight error with my booking.

Fantastic experience: I have now done 3 CBT’s at different Motorcycle Training Centres. This, by far, is the best I have attended. A huge amount of information was provided in digestible amounts and I was trained out of my bad Motorcycle riding habits (I’ve been riding for 2 years on my current bike). Couldn’t suggest it enough!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended! I did my CBT with Nick, it was absolutely an amazing experience. Nick was very professional with subtle banter to take the edge of the pressure of the assessment. From the moment the course started, he introduced himself, made everyone feel comfortable and adjusted his coaching methods to meet individual needs. We went through the basics PPE and the Highway Code, which was a nice refresher. Nick was very patient with everyone throughout the course he delivered over and beyond, although I passed my CBT, this review would not have been different if I didn’t. Big thank you to Nick, you definitely left an impression, hopefully our paths will cross again. Finally, motorcycle school it self was great, great facility, everyone was friendly and helpful including the head trainer who also introduced himself. The rates were very competitive, Highly recommended!

His helpful and fun attitude made the day go a lot quicker since we were still able to have a laugh along the way. Nick my instructor today was all you can ask for in a teacher, and not a shouting stress head that other schools have. If you want to be safe and have a great environment with roads that you can enjo, when you get to do some road craft, this is your place.

Fantastic experience: R.Wood the instructor really a nice person

Fantastic experience: I went in for the CBT to Direct access package. Over the course of five days, I went from not having been on a motorcycle for a number of years to passing both CBT, Mod 1 and 2 first time, with little to no minors. The training I received was enough without the unnecessary frills of over doing it. The same can't be said for my own head, as I was bricking more than I should have. My Das instructor (Stew) gave me everything I needed to pass, the rest as he says was simply getting on and just doing it. Which, luckily, I did! Thanks to the team for getting me on the road!

Fantastic experience: I've done my CBT a few times here and the team are fab. Doing your training on a MOD site might be distracting for some but everything is well equipped. Heating provision has really improved recently, there must have been an upgrade. Toilets, kitchen and kettles all provided but bring your own sandwiches, I don't remember seeing a microwave. The day is a good mix of practical and theory so read your Highway Code before you go otherwise you might be disappointed. Had Nick this time round, one of the newer instructors but very competent, an experienced rider and a very calm and friendly instructor. Fab day.

Fantastic experience: So I came to these guys for my bike test had to do a Cbt mod 1 and mod 2 So first of all started training on a Saturday with nick/roley For my cbt they made it as fun and interesting as they genarlly could whilst still keeping it fully professional Then on the Sunday I met Stewart he seemed a nice chap thorough and professional We had a play around with the bike he explained it’s heavier higher bigger and faster being a 650 We went out on The road had a lot of bad habits but my god Stewart made it known they was wrong which I’m so grateful for On the Monday same again out on the road got better on some things worse on others is what it is no one’s perfect right Then on the Tuesday mod 1 Rode to the test centre Passed yay Wensday mod 2 by now the nerves was kicking in Went for a coffee warmed up went for my test aced it 1 minor knew the moaning from Stewart was so worth it What I’m trying to get at is if your thinking of doing your bike test Kent and Sussex rider training are the perfect people to do it with they are friendly and will help you along the way with all aspects weather it be a cbt or a das course your after just give these people a go you won’t be disappointed

Fantastic experience: Training provided by Stewart was excellent. Good communication, patient and adapted the training on the go to suit the needs of the students. Riding routes were varied which prepares you well for the test as you are able to deal with any situation. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Top class constructive and fun tuition completely sorted out my Car, Scooter and 125 cc experience to a safe first big bike level. Fantastic experience: Had a lovey time at k,s,r,t doing my c,b,t yesterday came away with a pass very happy and the instructors were brilliant 10 out of 10. Loved the ride out it was good feeling being back on the road again.

Fantastic experience: I started with a CBT with Roly in the autumn and this enabled me to start riding a 125cc on L plates. This led to some brilliant DAS training from Stewart and great work from Jan too in securing a last minute Mod 2 slot. I can't thank them enough for the whole service. Wholeheartedly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I have just passed my DAS with K&S Rider Training and I've been on a high since! I passed my CBT on a Saturday with Nick and then met Stewart on the Sunday who had the almighty task of teaching my friend and I how to ride 'big bikes' to pass the MOD 1 and MOD 2 tests. He is firm but fair, uses real world experience to teach and injects humour in to make it enjoyable. I would recommend this rider training business to anyone wanting to learn to ride a motorcycle, big or small.

Fantastic experience: I’m sat writing this having passed my full A class motorcycle test 9 days from my initial CBT- I think this speaks volumes!! I attended my CBT with Roly having never ridden a geared bike, Roly gives you all the basic tools to pass the CBT you simply have to listen and job done. I rode a 125 for my CBT then the very next day I was on a 650, an excellent bike for my DAS intensive training 4day course with Stuart. Both Roly and Stuart are extremely experienced riders and they have all the tools to making you a safe, responsible rider you just need to listen. Stuart had a structure to his training, the bike was always ready and he instilled great confidence in me. Sunday CBT- PASS. Wednesday Mod 1-PASS. Tuesday Mod 2- PASS Probably the most important person at KSRT is Jan, if she hadn’t answered my call and been excellent with planning my training and tests for me to have no worries I wouldn’t have been here today. I contacted another local company prior to KSRT for my DAS training and they chose to ignore my correspondence, very unprofessional and glad this was far from the case with Jan at KSRT I cannot recommend KSRT enough if you want to pass your CBT and further motorbike licences and not waste time these are the people to go to. Thank you all for your guidance and support.

Fantastic experience: Update on my post from one month ago. Passed my CBT 4 weeks ago, did my theory a week later and then immediately got support from KSRT to have DAS training from Stewart in the run up to my direct access course. In spite of the howling winds, crazy rain, and generally difficult conditions, I passed Mod 1 and Mod 2 this week and am now full A license qualified, all in a really rubbish October. Used my own GS 850 in the end as I did my training on it . Stewart is an outstanding teacher, very calm, patient and takes time to sit and explain the theory behind road awareness and safety, then talking through examples live on the road as you ride - makes learning very easy and then simply makes you a better rider. Can’t recommend him highly enough and I think he’s a huge reason behind me sailing through. An outstanding experience with KSRT all in. Thank you all, massive thumbs up from me, and a wholehearted, enthusiastic, recommendation to anyone thinking of finding a great instructor.

Fantastic experience: 1st rate, the only word to use. The instruction/ers where first rate, totaly focused on ensuring I was capable and safe, and even though I failed the initial practical (nerves got the better of me, even though I had been riding bikes from the age of 19, I had not ridden in 12 years). So following the CBT rules introduction I had to start again (but that in my mind was the right thing to do) they made the right call on the day but most importantly very very understanding and supportive of my position and embarrassment. I am going back for a retraining session (again where the school have been unbelievably understanding and supportive). I would not hesitate to recommend training at this center to anyone. Being safe is paramount, so the best training is the way to confidence and safe. 4/6/22 update. Just retook my training AND PASSED! Again awesome training and understanding. Tottaly focused on building my confidence and safety. Needless to say I am proud as punch and owe it all to the standard of training I received. Even though it was a re-train not one corner was skipped (I was amazed of the amount of information I heard on the initial course had embedded in my memory) Again I would have no hesitation in advising anyone to engage with this center. Ps. the road ride was not just a 'jog'around the block but full on and accompanied by superb comments when required. 10/10 in my book. Pps. thanks to all the team again for their understanding, tollarance, encouragement, and most of all professionalism.

Fantastic experience: While I couldn’t find an early enough space with other training centers (had to wait for weeks), Kent & Sussex were able to provide me a spot on the immediate weekend. I had Stew as a trainers and he was excellent. You didn’t feel bored with his teaching as he has a nice way of delivering the course, so I absorbed everything he had to give. The ride outside was excellent and gave me great confidence. I would recommend this center to everyone

Negative experience: My son took his CBT here last year and one of the instructors behaved in a very unprofessional way. Shouting aggressively into the face of a 16 year old rider is not the best way to train people.

Fantastic experience: I was a total newbie to motorcycles so this was a truly fantastic experience. Roly was a great instructor on the day, thorough and professional, with a lifetime of experience. It took me a little while to get to grips with the manoeuvres in the car park but Roly was patient and his instruction was calm, well-structured and effective. Out on the road I felt well-prepared by the morning’s training, safe, competent, and had an amazing time…I can’t wait to get my own bike! The other attendee on the course was a bike owner who had done a CBT 2 years ago…his feedback was that this training was far better than where he’d trained previously. I thoroughly recommend this professional, well-run, and highly experienced family business. Thanks for getting me on 2 wheels!

Fantastic experience: Just done my CBT absouluty petrified as I had never riden a bike before, the guys there helped to calm me down get me used to riding and I walked away at the end of the day alot more confident and alot wiser on bikes. Brilliant service and amazing support.

Fantastic experience: Just did my CBT today and had an excellent time, Stew was a great laugh and very supportive pointing out areas for improvement and also giving lots of positive feedback which definitely made me feel more confident whilst out riding. The theory and lesson structure was also fantastic and very involved. Even though it was raining buckets, Stew was a great character and ensured that the energy stayed high throughout. Highly recommend using them for any training!

Fantastic experience: I had my cbt yesterday on the 30th of January and I just want to say I suffer really bad with anxiety problems always over thinking very negative attitude towards myself I turnt up very nervous believing I couldn’t do it but with a fantastic instructor Roly just simply being himself the way he taught was very at eased and relax while making the rules of the Highway Code very important I just want to say a big thank you in believing in me pushing me to my fullest I definitely recommend this riding school especially with roly so if anybody has nerve issues like me I definitely would say this is the best place to get your cbt done if your looking to
