Fantastic experience: Me and my son had a cbt today with instructors Paul and Ian I’d like to say a big thank you to the team they are so professional and patient they take the time to help you get things right before moving on to the next step unlike other companies in Southampton that have no patience and just want to squeeze more money out of you . Today has made me feel so comfortable with these guys I’m going to book in for my full license thank you guys

Fantastic experience: Had my CBT with Paul. Absolutely loved it. Really supportive and helpful. I would definitely recommend ADT if you need any motorcycle training. I was really nervous when I arrived but the staff made me feel comfortable and relaxed after I asked probably too many questions. I look forward to seeing these guys in the future

Fantastic experience: I wanted to do my CBT in preparation for using an electric bike in London. I asked if I could learn on a manual instead of an automatic just to get experience and this was really easy to organise and adjust via their Facebook Chat. The staff were so helpful and honest. Ian trained me with another young guy. I felt like such a noob at first as someone in their 40s with 27yrs car driving experience being on a geared bike was such a difference and it took me an hour to really get a hang of everything. But I was never patronised or made to feel awkward, I did that myself! I had a brilliant time and my confidence grew quickly because Ian was so kind and straightforward. All of our time on the real roads I felt safe and looked after and I passed feeling really positive. Pros: ADT provided the kit needed for being on the bike. The training area was clean and large and in sight of loos. The roads for the 2hr test drive were varied and good to get experience. The staff were very helpful and positive and knew their stuff. Ian didn't mind me asking a few questions I didn't feel hurried. Cons: The classroom was a shipping container and was very cold especially when you are feeling nervous. Other training teams came in while we were doing classroom portions and it was very noisy and distracting which stopped me from being able to concentrate and focus well. There were no drinks or snacks available as the sports centre was barren and we could have used a snack break to keep us going. Overall I am really pleased with my training and excited to put what I learned into practice. I really recommend this team.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend ADT for anyone starting their motorcycle journey. My instructor Ian was very patient and encouraging, this made the learning process smooth and enjoyable. His commitment to safety will forever be my foundation as a novice rider.

Fantastic experience: I've just got my full A licence following the 6 day course (direct access scheme). I completed my CBT with Paul and the remainder of the training with Deano. They are great blokes and excellent, patient instructors. A special thanks to Deano who helped me make really fast progress, having only ridden scooters before, over a decade ago now. Thanks to him I was well prepared for my tests, which I've passed almost perfectly (one missed observation in module 1). I highly recommend the instructors at ADT, these guys really know what they're doing!

Fantastic experience: I recently did my CBT and direct access motorcycle training with ADT and I’m glad I chose them to do it with! I did my CBT with Ian and lee, both were very good instructors, very helpful and informative. Then I did my direct access 5 day course with Deano and he was an amazing instructor, very informative and patient, do as he says and you can’t go wrong! I passed my motorcycle test with a clean sheet and I have Deano to thank for that. If you are thinking of doing your motorcycle test I would highly recommend ADT to do your training with, they have all the facilities to get you ready for your test and pass with flying colours.

Fantastic experience: I recently took a 6-day direct access course with ADT Motorcycle Training in Southampton and I couldn't have been happier with the experience. The instructor, Deano, was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, and he took the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly. He made sure that I felt confident in my abilities before I took the tests, and I passed both the CBT, and MOD1 and 2 first time. Overall, I would highly recommend ADT Motorcycle Training to anyone looking for any motorcycle training. They offer a great service, and all the instructors I spoke too during my time learning were helpful and great to be around. In 6 days I went from not being able to ride a moped, to passing my test on a fully geared bike, and I couldn't have been happier with the guys who taught me, particularly Deano who was with me the entire course.

Fantastic experience: Passed my CBT training on a 125cc today with Ian & he was amazing! I had never ridden a manual bike before & after half an hour I was off on my own riding with no issues. I had never been on a motorbike before and Everyone was so helpful from Deno on day 1 (my CBT), and Lee on my DAS. Fantastic experience: I have completed both my CBT and DAS course through ADT and would not hesitate to recommend them to others. The pace and level of teaching is excellent and the adaptability to specific learning needs is second to none. The instructors are happy to take extra time to support and develop their students and keep the pressure low. I felt like the instructors are genuinely invested in your progress and seemed almost as happy about our successes as we are. Cannot pick fault with the set up and would highly recommend. Fantastic experience: Did my geared CBT here today and what a great experience it was. My instructor Ian was absolutely excellent in all aspects of teaching. Knowledgeable, patient and motivating - a good laugh too. As someone who was quite nervous, he put me at ease straight away. Highly recommended. Will be booking my wife in to take her CBT here soon.

I have to admit, I was not the easiest student to teach but Henry was very patient with me. I’m so happy with the result. You could not meet a friendlier bunch and laid back atmosphere. Fantastic experience: With my only riding experience being the CBT a few weeks ago, this week I completed the Direct Access Course and passed to obtain a full motorcycle license. Professional, patient and experienced with a coherent method to instruction, ADT Southampton provide a top notch service all with a good sense of humour thrown in. Fantastic experience: I had a very bad experience at a different training facility previously where my training was cut short because of my confidence problems so I wasn't sure if should go back, pay £100 to redo 1,2 modules or should I redo the entirity of my CBT somewhere else would be a great idea, but i'm so glad I did! Everyone I met at ADT was super helpful and put me at ease from the first moment! Paul -my instructor- and both the training was professional and never 'half-arsed'! Clear instructions and great communications at all times! The area also has a great selection of all sorts of roads around, perfect for driving around and experiencing everything...that earpiece was a little uncomfortable tho' :) Definitely will redo my CBT here or even upgrade to a full license!! Do yourself a favour and go to ADT!

Fantastic experience: In September 2021 I completed CBT with Paul and Ian, yesterday I completed my Direct Access by passing the MOD2 thanks to Lee and in particular Henry. All the instructors were friendly, calm and very patient. I would definitely recommend ADT.

Fantastic experience: I've just completed my DAS with ADT. What a week! Henry is a fantastic instructor, incredibly patient and knowledgeable. I couldn't have done it without the instruction he gave me. The other instructors down there are friendly and welcoming. Bikes are in good condition. Could invest in some better ear pieces for the radio's though? Passed my mod1&2 first time. Fantastic facilities to learn with and to be honest learning to ride around, through and in the New Forest is awesome on it's own.

Fantastic experience: I was delighted to discover that the centre was open again for business following the covid lockdown and reassured that measures were in place to keep myself and my instructor (Richard) protected from infection. I was beyond nervous but Richard put me at ease. Patient, caring and 'superb' tuition. A huge thumbs up and many thanks indeed.

Fantastic experience: i spent couple hours practising on geared bike in the area but decided i wasn't ready to go on road with it so did cbt on scooter, instructor Bev was really good, i am deaf with cochlear and was bit nervous to be on road but as soon i got on road, i knew i smashed it. i will be buying a geared bike but wont go on road till i practise the clutch control, couldn't have done it without bevs help. HIGHLY recommend this cbt course, especially if you have disabilities or are deaf and nervous about doing it, go to this one, you wont be disappointed

Fantastic experience: I was an A2 rider for around ,5 years and Henry kick all the bad habits out of me. Patient and thorough, he ensured that I passed my test after 3 days of training and I learned some new tricks too. For sure get your CBT or higher licence training with these guys!

Fantastic experience: Had my CBT on a geared 125, great day even though the weather was awful. The instructor, Paul, was fantastic, kept instructions simple and easy to understand, he was really patient and reassuring which kept me nice and calm throughout. Thanks Guys, hopefully see you when I'm ready for a bigger bike.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend doing your motorcycle training with ADT, from the booking to the training they were extremely helpful and supportive. I had never ridden before so went for the 6 day DAS course and never regretted it. Within a week I had passed my CBT and with the expert tuition from Dean I passed my MOD 1 & MOD 2 with flying colours. So even if you've never ridden or had previous experience I'd always say go with ADT for your next training.

I really can't praise them enough . . They got this 64 year old guy through his test easily . . My advise to all you prospective motorcyclists is to use them you won't regret it . . Fantastic experience: Never ridden a bike before but decided it was time aged 54. Did my CBT late May, got a 125 to build some experience, did a DAS in mid August, passed full test on the 14th August, purchased a future-classic CBF1000 GT a week later. Not stopped grinning since the CBT. Thanks Richard & Deano for taking me through it all with patience, professionalism and great humour.

Negative experience: Edited 2021: After completing a CBT somewhere else, I have realised the original 3 stars was too generous. The teacher was patronising to students and was extremely impatient. He did not take the time to build confidence in the people doing the course, and seemed like he just wanted the day to finish as early as possible.

Fantastic experience: Did the CBT course a few weeks ago for a 125cc geared bike. I had never ridden a motorbike until that morning and, albeit more nervous than I thought I would be, I felt incredibly confident with Jim’s expert tuition. Out on the road, Jim made me feel very safe and was a calm and thorough voice in my ear! Couldn’t recommend these guys more highly- fantastic day and I’ll certainly be using them for further tuition to get on a bigger bike. Thank you chaps.

Fantastic experience: I completed my direct access with these guys earlier this month having no real previous experience - the entire course was fantastic.. perfect amount of riding time, instructors were EXTREMELY patient and knew how to explain everything multiple different ways and in all honesty, they were a laugh too. Bikes were amazing, kit was good.. would absolutely recommend ADT! I even travelled a couple of hours each day just to use these guys! I passed too, first time.. thanks to the big boss man himself! A big cheers to H and Deano - just in time for the summer.

Fantastic experience: Today I completed the CBT course and Deano was my instructor. I had an absolutely fantastic time. I have had a car driving licence for 25 years, but this was my first time on a bike. I was a little worried I may not be tall or strong enough to manage the bike, but those concerns soon vanished. Deano and the other instructors were really friendly and supportive. I spent plenty of time on the bike and Deano was very patient, enabling me to get out on the road with confidence. I would recommend ADT if you're thinking of having a go, no matter your age, size or gender!

Fantastic experience: Did my A2 course with ADT towards the end of December and can highly recommend it. The instructor Henry was very helpful over the 4 days and I passed both the Mod 1 & Mod 2 exams first time.

Fantastic experience: Did my A2 training with Henry at the end of last month. He’s a great instructor. Extremely patient and thorough when explaining what we may need to improve on or are doing good at. I passed my Mod 1 and Mod 2 without a fault. I highly recommend choosing ADT.

Fantastic experience: This is a little bit late, I did my direct access Training at the begining of November, i Booked a four day course & i can say it was money well spent, I have always gone with ADT for all my CBT's four to be exact & every time i have always been made welcome from day 1, this is why i chose ADT for my direct Access. I was a bit apprehensive & very nervous about taking my big boy test, but from day one when i arrived & was greeted by Deano my instructor, well there is not enough words that can describe him as an instructor, he made me feel at ease straight away, if i had any questions nothing was ever to much trouble weather it be a silly little question or a big question, the way he instructed & directed Maneuvers to me me was very clear & precise, Deano was A top Bloke. I highly recommend ADT, & of course Deano is incredible, Thanks to Deano I am now enjoying my Yamaha tracer 700 all thanks to him, Thank you Deano & ADT

Fantastic experience: Did a 2nd CBT with Deano about 18 months ago, as I had been to Fatboy Motorcycle Training shortly before that and was given a CBT when I was in no way in control of the bike. Deano was shocked that they had even let me do the on road part of the CBT, let alone given me a CBT certificate. Anyway Deano got me in control of the bike and through the CBT course. I then did a 4 day DAS course last week with Deano again. I got though Mod 1 with no minors and Mod 2 with 1 minor. Many thanks especially to Deano for getting me though both the CBT and DAS courses. Would definitely recommend ADT Motorcycle Training. Stay well away from Fatboy motorcycle training!
