Negative experience: Came over an hour away to view a bike on a Saturday and even though there own website says they close at 4. Got there at 1pm only to see the owner closing. When I said there site said they close at 4, he couldn't have been less interested. Will never visit again

Negative experience: Olivers advertised a Himalayan 411 on Auto trader. Decided to buy the bike and contacted them on the price of having it sent to Devon, they told me they would not sell it to me unless I viewed the bike in person. Why advertise on a national website if you refuse to sell it nationwide. Surely it's down to me if I buy sight unseen. Nowhere on your advert does it state you will only sell in person. My review is not malicious as I am only stating my experience in my dealings with Oliver's

Negative experience: I asked them to fix my 125 scooter that I bought from them on March 2024 brand new scooter,the issue was the bike started to do a big noise in the motor and very difficult yo get it stater ,after one week they deliver the bike the same I payed 183 pounds before I realise it wasn't fix,called them a few times and asked what did the mechanic did and the answer was always the same...the mechanic isn't at the shop and when They can they would asking him what he fix.very rude staff,

Fantastic experience: I honestly cannot recommend Oliver’s Motorcycles enough! I recently bought my first motorbike from there, the service and support offered are the likes you would expect from a manufacturers dealership and more. Oliver and his staff are very friendly & professional and make you feel more like a friend than a customer. Having dealt with my fair share of small car sales companies and experienced the nightmares that often go hand in hand with 2nd hand vehicles, I can say with confidence that anyone who deals with Oliver’s Motorcycles will always be very well looked after.

Negative experience: i was selling motorcycle to olivers they said yes last thursday sent my bank details as requested phoned friday told them my bike on sorn monday phoned again tuesday phoned wednesday went to their office we are coming to view bike phone again thursday we will phone you friday phoned ollie direct after some bull we now do not want your bike now 6 PHONE CALLS I VISIT the staff do not know what each other is doing ollie dont know his a-- from his elbow i wasted a whole week at home waiting for WHAT??

Negative experience: Was booked in to do my CBT but let down by this company at short notice (5 days). Just rang me up and said we don’t do CBTs or any bike training anymore and refunded my deposit. Poor service, wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Not much more to say really. Just thankful there are other more reliable companies around. In response the Oliver’s Motorcycles, I booked my CBT by going on your website and finding the details there. If I have infact reviewed the wrong company then please direct me to the correct one on google, separate website etc. Although I suspect you won’t be able to do this & interesting that when you get 5* reviews praising the CBT and training etc you didn’t tell them that they reviewed the wrong company.

Fantastic experience: If you want to get your motorcycle licence come to Oliver's! Before I came to Oliver's I was previously with another riding school that made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe - I went to Oliver's and Martin (& in fact everyone in the shop) was extremely supportive, kind, and made me feel very welcome. I did my Mod 1 and 2 with Martin and he helped me such a lot with my confidence on the bike and was fantastic at teaching me to ride the bike! I just passed my mod 2 yesterday and I am going to go buy my first big bike this week. Thank you to Martin & all the team for being so brilliant and supportive - I couldn't recommend the guys more!!! 10/10!!!

Fantastic experience: Re-took my CBT today and highly recommend the team at Olivers. Excellent from start to finish and Elliott our instructor was outstanding. He was encouraging throughout, good humoured and explained / demonstrated things with clarity. Really enjoyed the course - refreshed my skills and learned new stuff…. Then got back out on the Vespa this afternoon with full grin in the sunshine! Thanks again.

Fantastic experience: My son and I completed our CBT together with Oliver’s and have to say the experience was fantastic. Our instructor, Elliot, was great, super informative and made the day a pleasure…we would highly recommend Oliver’s for anyone looking to start their biking journey. We’re now both loving the freedom of biking and can’t wait to do our next module.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic bunch of chaps with a fantastic little shop. I had a problem with my rear passenger pegs while on route and needed a spare bolt to secure it as I had my son on the back. they fitted a new one & had a good chat while doing it thanks again chaps & a great bike night see you at the next one.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience today for my CBT. Clear, consice instructions with added support when I lacked a bit of confidence. Fingers crossed I'll be back next year for my test.

Fantastic experience: Just renewed my CBT at Oliver's. Elliot is very good at what he does. Explains everything clearly, demonstrates it all and puts you at ease, he's a natural teacher. Even though I've been riding for two years I still get nervous. Highly recommend and I have also done training with Martin before who is very calm and knowledgeable so whoever you get, you will be in good hands.

Fantastic experience: Did my CBT with Olivers, today. Great guys who made me feel confident as soon as the course started. As a complete novice I was quite nervous about it, but Elliott, our instructor, was great. I certainly felt like a better rider by the time the course finished.

Fantastic experience: I did my CBT here on Sep 3rd. They were all great to talk to and the instructor I had for the CBT was amazing and you could have a laugh and a talk with. Their experience with bikes was great and of great help. I did my CBT on a manual and he gave good advice and took extra time with me to allow for clutch control and gearing.

Fantastic experience: Can't fault them at all! I did my CBT & gear conversion courses there as a very nervous new rider and everyone was so encouraging and helpful. The clothing is a good price and when I bought my used 125 from them they sorted some minor rust on the exhaust at no extra cost. They're just generally really friendly & helpful and on a couple of occasions they went above and beyond what I expected, when I was struggling to get to grips with riding. If you're nervous and on the fence about getting into riding I highly recommend getting in touch with the team at Oliver's, cheers guys!

Fantastic experience: Did my CBT there recently. A great day with fantastic instruction from Elliot who makes you feel really at ease, explains everything and keeps the training relevant, light, informative but really fun. I started out on geared but swapped to a scooter after consulting with Elliot, best plan ever. So much so I went back the next day and did a gear conversion which was a great way to move onto a geared bike. Subsequently been down and kitted myself out, The guys in the shop are great, helpful and know there stuff and offer fantastic advice. Now the proud owner of my first bike and putting into practice what I’ve learned. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Olivers as your goto for all your bike needs.

Fantastic experience: Completed my CBT today and it could not have been better, i hadn’t ridden even a push bike for over 30 years, but the training was better than I expected, everything explained as well as demonstrated, time was spent on each person making sure they were proficient. When we were ready we had a couple of hours on the road and by then the confidence instilled from the training was there to successfully complete the training. I can’t thank these guys enough and will be back for the next stage when I’m ready to move to the next level. Thank you Oliver’s Motorcycles

Negative experience: 13th of April I came to the Olivers Motorcycles for booking my CBT test. Guy at the cassier taked my driving licence - checked them, took £50 deposit and book time for me on 18th April. Today 18th April 08:45 I came on time to the my CBT test. Instructor take my driving licence and said licence was expired. Said sorry to me but I can't pass my CBT test. Need change driving licence and come back with new licence. Guy at cassier said that he can't refund my £50 deposit and can't rebook my CBT test. I lost my £50. He laugh and said I need pay one more time £50 deposit for pre-booking new CBT test. It's absolutely scamm...Avoid this place. I hope guy cassier will be rich for this £50. Poor customer service and unwillingness to compromise. Very bad experience with Olivers Motorcycles.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience with these guys had my cbt done on the 30th of September with them, wasn't quite up to scratch but they put in some extra one on one time at their expense with me to get me out on the road. Can't thank them enough, drove my first bike away that day purchased from them a wk scrambler 125 so happy with the bike an the service they provided, use it daily for my work comute an it's amazing! Back today to get my first service done on the bike will be usi g these guys for all my biking needs! Definitely a 5 star crew an business. Thanks again guys

Fantastic experience: Fantastic people to deal with and prices are great been searching for awhile for Honda NT700V these chaps had a perfect one for me. Placed a £100 deposit Saturday and picked up today 3 days later. Had to do a 280 mile round trip and get my brother to drive it back. Worth it yes sometimes if you go up North you get a bit more for your money. Bike was already for us to take with a 12 MOT drove like a dream (But not a Honda 250 Super Dream that's a joke ! ). Had to make a quick purchase so not to lose out making room in garage. Recomend these chaps 100%. Photos not great as bike down my side passage till room in garage made. Better side than rear. Fantastic experience: Passed my Module 1 & 2 with Oliver’s Motorcycles, every step of the way was a positive smooth transaction with them keen to help and guide me in the right direction. Every time I had a query, question, needed equipment or advice they were on hand to help. Furthermore with no notice at all they have allowed me to bring my bike in to get it fixed in order for me to sale it and upgrade to a more powerful bike. The guys behind the desk are polite and warming with a good sense of humour, Martin the instructor is talkative loves a sing but knows his thing and enables you to relax and progress without feeling pressured. The shop has everything you could want for riding and I haven’t paid full price for a thing as of yet which is great because they’re always willing to look after their students. Finally the test itself I passed without any pointers and I’ve gone from a CBT to full bike license in less that 100miles on my current aprillia 125cc which is a credit to their tuition. A massive thank you to all Martin - Oli - James - and the mechanic (sorry lad I don’t know your name )

Fantastic experience: Attended for a 1-to-1 lesson on their dedicated training area with one of their instructors, as I have limited scooter and motorcycle experience. Gordon was lovely, with a reassuring but confident manner and put me at ease with his style of instruction. Not only did we get going on the scooter, he (as he'd promised at the start of the lesson) got me changing gears on a 'proper' motorcycle. I've now booked to do my CBT later in the month, and look forward to doing further training for my 'big bike' tests in the future.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely the best experience I have had with taking any motor vehicle to any garage. You would be hard pushed to find better. Olivers had my pride and joy bike in after I had been hit from behind and the effort these guys went to provide a VERY fast and friendly service was unreal. I would highly recommend anyone to use Olivers as you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Great service, knowledgeable staff, had numerous bikes worked on by the garage and service has been brilliant! Also did my CBT,MOD1 and MOD2 through them, training was great, both instructors have a wealth of knowledge between them!

Negative experience: I bought a KTM from here. it came with 12 months mot from them and I was assured it was HPI clear. The advert stated it came with 3 months warranty. I had so many problems within the first month it was a joke ! I travelled long distance and trailered it back as id only ever had good experiences from dealers before this. Day 1 the led brake light wasn't working, I rang them and asked how it past an mot with no rear light. I received a snotty answer and told it was working. Within week 1, fuel lines started leaking. I had to take it to a local garage who showed me all the original KTM fuel connections had been hacked off and replaced with cheap fuel hose, copper pipe and hose clips. I called again and they said it past their 100 point check ( or whatever they called it) They said to bring it back and they would look at it but they new full well i was 3 hours away. week 2, Fan started to run constantly. After much inspection we found the wiring loom had been altered and ran through the front header pipes and melted to them. Again they denied any such issue. I asked if I could give it them back as id had so many issues but he stated that as he had knocked me £100 of the asking price I waived writes to any guarantee and it was classed as a trade sale. That was news to me ? So after spending hundreds of pounds on it to get it right, Iv today tried to put the steering lock on and found it to be broken ? So I decided to HPI it ( yes I should of done this on day one) and surprise surprise its listed as stolen recovered. So what do I think of Olivers Motorcycles ??? Cowboys !

Fantastic experience: Brought my first motorbike form Olivers Motorcycles- I was very impressed with the service that they provided, it was extremely efficient with the bike being registered and delivered to my door the next day. They were also very helpful with helping me get all of the right safety gear without needing to spend an arm and a leg. I would highly recommend to anybody.

Fantastic experience: Excellent garage. Took in a 2006 Bandit that had been stood for over a year, uncovered and exposed to all the elements. Needless to say it needed a great amount of work doing to get it on the road again. Just picked the bike up and its sweet as a nut. Honest, approachable and very reasonable priced. I am a very happy customer.
