Nik, was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, making sure I felt comfortable and confident on the bike. The facilities are spot on, with well-maintained bikes and excellent training aids. The rural location is perfect for learning, offering quiet roads to practice on before hitting busier areas. I also appreciated the free taster session, which helped me decide that Bike-Moore was the right choice for my training. Fantastic experience: Did CBT then the daunting Direct Access course with Nik. Great experience, top notch instructor who brings out the best in you. I hadn't ridden a bike for well over 20 years, so any residual skills I had were well buried and needed bringing out, dusting down and polishing. A good tutor can do that and Nik certainly falls into that category. The site at Shennington is quiet and perfect for CBT/Mod 1 training and helps add to the whole experience. All in all, really glad I chose Bike-Moore for all my two wheel training and a top notch recommendation from me.

Fantastic experience: I’ve not ridden since 2013, and became a Mummy in the intervening years. My bike was parked in the garage (I’m now working on getting her back up and running! ), and I wasn’t entirely sure if I’d ever be willing to ride again, the only thing stopping me from selling my XVS250 bike is that I’m short (5’2”! ), and finding a bike that fits can be a pain. However with my youngest now a bit older I felt the pull to get back on the bike, but wanted to do it properly and also needed a bit of a confidence boost, and so I contacted Nik. What a fantastic instructor! He suggested the best thing for me might be to effectively do the CBT day, meaning I get a whole day on the bike (the Honda CB125R did the job fine for my stature), and I got a solid opportunity to rebuild my confidence and comfortability with both being on a bike in general, manoeuvring, and road riding. Nik has the ideal disposition and demeanour as an instructor, he’s clear, considered, thorough, and calm. Honestly, I could not have asked for a better day and instructor to get me back out there. Fantastic experience: Just finished my cbt with nik he was firm fair and really easy to talk to he keeps reminding us not to worry and to relax. Fantastic experience: Just done my CBT with Nik at Bike Moore, very thorough and explained everything with detail, very professional and will be doing my DAS courses with him very soon, would highly recommend anyone with no experience or with experience to use Bike Moore, I was also on the course with the lad who commented below and his review on Nik is unfair, everything was explained very well, ample time and patience was given but as you would hope someone in Niks' position would do he wouldn't allow them to take the bikes out on the road ride as they just weren't going to be safe on the road. He also took time to explain everything they needed to work on to be able to come back and complete the cbt at a later date. Riding bikes on the road is definitely a better safe than sorry circumstance.

Negative experience: Worst experience ever would not recommend if you are young. nik is absolutely useless he did not teach me anything. Nik told me how to do something and I was expected to do it without any demonstration I got failed after 3 and a half hours of riding, the minimum a cbt should take is 6-8 hours and I was told I need more time on the seat of a bike even though I could do everything I was told to do he rushed me and my friend to a failure he made us feel so embarrassed to even be there he doesn’t understand things take time so he made me waste 150 pound even though I could do everything he asked of me. I can’t wait to take my cbt somewhere I know has good staff and is actually capable of teaching because nik is ridiculous

The training given is well structured with very experienced instructors that seam to work very well with all levels of rider experience and confidence and any personal problems are dealt with on an individual merit. Fantastic experience: Iv done cbt with nik few times over the years but hadn't ridin on the road for roughly 6 years, so decided to go for the full test recently, from the off nik showed stacks of patients with my rusty skills through cbt,mod1 and eventually mod2. Fantastic experience: I was recommended Nik by two others who were also trained by him. He is an excellent instructor, being methodical, patient, calm, consistent and caring. Fantastic experience: Nik at Bike-Moore got my Brother and I through our DAS course first time with ease, the course was thorough, ensuring we had the tools to complete our course with confidence. Nik knew exactly the right areas we needed to focus on and was able to pin point exactly where we needed improvement during training aswell as how to adjust our riding to make sure we were riding to our highest possible standard. I'm usually quite nervous in test environments but the training I received here left me feeling like I could go to test and pass without any worries. Nik has a very professional approach to training his students, he's polite, very patient and also a pleasant and funny chap to have a conversation with. Another good thing about going with Nik at Bike-Moore is that he uses banbury test centre and Brian, who carries out 99% of the Mod2 tests is extremely friendly and is good at keeping you at ease during your test. If you want to pass your test first time with confidence, with an instructor that takes pride in his work then look no further!

Really surprised how much easier the bigger bikes were to ride than the 125's once you showed the tiny changes to make in steering using feet and hips. No more Slalom's for me! Fantastic experience: I’ve been riding motorcycles for 38 years and this course was the best one I’ve ever attended. Nik knew how to communicate the rules of the road, rider safety, and motorcycle riding techniques to both me and my 16-yo son as we both went through the same training course. The venue is perfectly located in a private former airfield. then around country and city roads. My son and I are better, safer riders after the course. Thanks, Nik!

Fantastic experience: I recently completed my CBT at the grand age of 31. I have a know-it-all attitude it was quickly humbled by Nik as I relaxed myself in his presence. His personality exudes in his teaching techniques and this really shows. Very calming and incredibly knowledgable yet very constructive in criticism always getting the best from you and learning every step of the way at your own pace. This shines through with different levels of riding in the group as everyone seems to be of the same attitude which is refreshing. Very good instructor that is very understanding and forgiving yet always makes sure to let you know what you’re doing wrong without sounding too aggressive or angry. Fantastic experience: Nik is really an excellent teacher. I've only ridden dirtbikes in the past, and he has a rigorous, systematic approach to acquiring the skills to safety road ride. Most importantly he is a patient instructor who changes his approach to bring out the best of his students.

Fantastic experience: I just successfully completed my DAS with Nik. I did a complete course from CBT, to MOD 1 and 2. Nik was a great instructor throughout. Very patient and thorough. Nik knows when you can do better and is keen to push you to achieve a safe standard of riding. He never pushed me beyond my limits and would only move on the training until both he and I agreed that I met the standard. The whole experience was great and Nik is an obviously very experienced rider and instructor and I would be confident in recommending bike-moore to anyone looking for rider training.

Fantastic experience: CBT. Nice relaxed introduction, followed by training guidance and instructions before going out to the actual training area on the bike of your choice to go through the basics of bike riding. Nick is calm but firm on what he wants you to do but also very reassuring to the less experienced rider. In the afternoon it’s off into the local town of Banbury to put the things you’ve learned earlier into practice, again lead by Nick, who communicates to you via helmet radios. Excellent day, great training and great instructor.

Fantastic experience: I did my DAS with Nik. Overall, it was great to do the course with him. At times he can seem a little too sure and firm, but his intention is for you to pass and to have the right habits for the road. After all, the stakes are high for it going wrong, with repercussions for all involved. With me, he was happy to give me tips on bad habits I had picked up along the way. Simultaneously, he also taught me new ways to ride a bike, which were not shown on my CBT and helped with bike handling. Given the timescale to learn how to pass the test on an unfamiliar bike, you can't go wrong with going to Nik to set you straight. For those wondering, I was riding a 100kg Honda CG125 to work and back and then riding a 180kg Yamaha MT-07 during the DAS. Quite different bikes! Thanks again Nik. Fantastic experience: I did my CBT here with Nik this weekend. Honestly it was fab, I chose the place based solely on the reviews and it was absolutely the right decision. Nik was super friendly, very knowledgeable and great at explaining everything to a complete newbie such as myself and putting you at ease from the get go. There were three of us on the course and all varying abilities but this didn't stop us from all getting the information, help and tuition we needed. Fantastic experience: I went to Bike Moore on the recommendation of my brother in law and I am so grateful for that. Nik is absolutely amazing, his instruction goes above and beyond. I'm a forty something year old female and started my journey a few years ago. I picked wrong 125 Bike, twice, to learn on, lacked skill and more importantly confidence. Nik could not have been more patient with me if he tried with the endless questions and huge amount of nerves I had. He explained everything clearly and is the most calming man I've had the pleasure of dealing with. I can't rate Bike Moore highly enough and would recommend them to anyone who asks. Nik, thank you for helping me to finally get out on the open road, have some fun and enjoy my riding.

Fantastic experience: I did my MOD1 and MOD2 with Nick at Bikemoore. I passed both tests and now have my full motorcycle license. He was a little intimidating at first, but he's actually a really nice guy. The bikes are powerful and it can go wrong quickly. He just wants you to learn the right way and be safe. So no, I don't agree with the review about his behaviour or attitude being appalling. He gave me an extra hours lesson when I felt I needed them and he was supportive. Fantastic experience: Two years ago I went to bike moore on the recommendation of a friend, I'm so glad I did. The quality of teaching is excellent and I have no doubt in my mind that I passed (first time) thanks to the superb training and in spite of myself. I can't recommend bike moore enough, if you're thinking of taking your motorbike test go to bike moore. You won't just be taught how to pass the test, you'll also be taught how to be safe on the vehicle. This year I can take my A license and I will definitely be going back to bike moore.

Fantastic experience: I used bike-moore to gain my CBT last year, then go through the Direct Access Scheme this year. All sorted, straightforward. Nik is a good instructor, he knows how to teach, encourage & correct until you're ready.

Fantastic experience: I attended a CBT course here, I found the instructor to be fair but firm person. His information in the class was clear as to were his instructions on the training pad. On the ride out even though I've rode for yrs he wasn't patronising, when I made a mistake he told me and we worked at it till I got the mistake correct. At the end he went over the problems I had which helped me understand my faults and helped me to learn the importance of correct road positioning as well as junction approach. I would definitely recommend Bike Moore to any one as I was. Thank you I can't seem to add another review so I've added to this. Fantastic experience: I went to Bike Moore for my CBT which was excellent, and then kept on for my DAS course thereafter which was equally good quality. Nik is the most patient teacher, very professional, very calm, encouraging and understanding. I live an hour from Banbury and I wasn't sure before I sign up but it was worth every single minute, money and effort. I absolutely love riding my bike. Fantastic experience: Great place to get your training. Went from having never been on a motorcycle to getting my full license through the DAS course with confidence in my skill as a rider. Nik is a very laid back person with a very keen eye for detail, he will give you advise on even the smallest adjustment that will make a massive different on your riding experience. This makes the whole experience very friendly and relaxed.

Fantastic experience: I've redone my CBT with Nik, and then passed my Direct Access recently - (mod 1, second time & mod 2, first time - yay!) Nik was great to train with and really helped improve my riding with the few sessions I had with him. In particular he really helped improve my confidence with tipping the bike through bends. Communication was great all through the lockdowns as well with having to reschedule training a few times. Thanks Nik!

Fantastic experience: Nik is an excellent and patient teacher with a calming influence - which was much needed as nerves can really get the best of me. He got me through the whole cat A process from CBT to passing my module 2, through covid-19 cancellations and various other challenges. Can't recommend Bike-moore highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Amazing place to to train, nik is one off the easiest guys I’ve met down to earth friendly and mostly helpful, I did my cbt with nik to be able to do my full bike test (DAS) the training was on point, that I passed first time on every test! This is not your standard driving school, this is one on one training at its best to get the best result! A PASS, highly recommend for anyone learning or wanting to extend their licence!
