I can't place his name but the redhead worker was very friendly, walked me through the different types of bikes they had and when I asked about training he went through what to expect with my cbt and further lessons when I was ready and gave me a card. Positive experience: Very professional and everything accurately described on my 1200x. However Upon further inspection I was disappointed to find the air filter was absolutely filthy and one of the brake pistons was ceased closed but apparently passed it's pdi on the brakes! It's just a factual account that's all! I'm sure Dan and the owner appreciate this feedback ( as I think they have very high standards! However on this occasion they were let down ! Great Comms btw! I would recommend them as they are constantly trying to improve their service!

Negative experience: Bought a Brand new bike from them and after running it for only 4 months. The bike does not wanna get started. Talked to the person in charge for getting it repaired under warranty and told me it does cover warranty as i have not serviced it from them. Quoted my £2500 for only £100 as part exchange. Complete rip off. Would not suggest anyone buy from them.

Negative experience: Went to the store over 3 weeks ago to hopefully purchase a scooter that they unfortunately didn't have in stock, however was told to leave details and they would be in touch. The service to show the bike was non existence as they didn't want to even interact. Maybe because I came around 4pm and no one wanted to even serve. The main reason for the negative feedback is when I pushed to have info on the purchase of the bike, I got asked to leave my name and number and then forgotten about. The 2-4 week lead time on the bike meant it could have been purchased and nearly here if they actually followed the sales and not leaving customers wondering. Good luck but I won't be wasting my time here again

From the moment I stepped into their showroom, the team made me feel welcome, offering great conversation and a cup of coffee. I ended up purchasing a Mutt Mongrel 250cc in impeccable condition. Although I noticed a minor squeaking noise when I first took it for a ride, the team assured me it was just the new brake pads settling in, and true enough, the noise disappeared after a few days of riding. Fantastic experience: Bought brand new sv650 few years ago. Due to high mileage I have to get it regularly serviced as well as replacing tyres etc. Have found Gibson's to be very helpful and will try to book me in at short notice. Work is done efficiently and cost is very reasonable.

Negative experience: I purchased a bike in July 2022 from here and paid for extended warranty, since purchasing this bike i have had to return for mechanical work 5 times within 6 months, with an extra fee of over £300. This garage has carried out work which was not why it went in for which i was not consulted about until after the work had carried out, which subsequently cost most than i anticipated. i went to the shop today due to another serious fault with my motorbike, which they have again told me that the bike should only be used for very short distances, as i was being advised by the mechanic something different from the sales team as i feel they only wanted the sale. I have now been told to wait till friday to wait for a manager to contact me regarding this. leaving me yet again without transport to and from work. this garage is not taking responsibly or taking me seriously for the requests / information that i have been giving them. i feel that the garage has sold me a vehicle which is not fit for purpose, or safe in a sense towards my safety.

Negative experience: The bikes seem to be in good condition and fairly priced however IV visited on couple of occasions when looking to purchase new bikes over space of couple of years and they just don't seem to be interested they might say are you ok? To Which my response would be yeah just having a look at what you have in stock and they just walk off no offer to help me find something for my needs or price range not even a follow up offer of "well if you need something let me know " I don't know maybe I just catch them on bad days? I'm sure it's no skin off their nose but I'll be taking my money elsewhere

Fantastic experience: I purchased my ducati 1199 from Gibson Daniel was very friendly and helpful straight from the moment I walked into the dealership and was happy to show me everything about the bike I was interested in. The bike is in brilliant condition and Daniel was proud to show this bike (nothing to hide here at Gibson) and allowed me to have as much time as I needed to look over it too, test rides were also welcomed!! The whole process was very smooth and I was exceptionally pleased which the whole experience, Daniel even went to the lengths of ordering a missing battery cover off the bike, not many dealers would have done this for me Bike was sold with warranty up to 3 months so long as I can get it back to them if I do have an issue (hopefully not haha) Thanks Gibson I’m very pleased, And Thanks Daniel for the sale

Fantastic experience: If you are in the market for a motorbike, I cannot recommend Gibson Motorcycles highly enough. These guys are friendly, knowledgeable and no pushy sales tactics which make for a great experience. The bike (Suzuki GSXR600) was purchased online without viewing in person (which is something I don't normally do) but the high resolution photos put my mind at ease. Came supplied with a fresh service and MOT and due to lockdown and not living very far away Dan delivered it for free. Looking forward to visiting them in person when lockdown is lifted as I have a motorbike buying addiction!

Fantastic experience: Updating this now I've had the bike for about a year: The service from Gibson has been brilliant from before purchase to now. Daniel gave me a good trade in value for my 125cc hairdryer and even held my new bike for me until I was ready to buy. I've had no issues with the bike and there haven't been any surprises with service costs. Very impressed with the standard of service from the whole team.

Fantastic experience: Brought a 2011 ZX10R this week and Really happy with my experience with Gibson's very relaxed sale no pushyness or typical salesman stuff. Staff didn't pounce on me as I walked in. Just allow you to look over the bikes in peace and are there for any questions. There was no hesitation in getting the keys and starting a bike up for me and very competative prices. The delivery was completely pain free and very quick for a very cheap price. Would definately go back again. A* from me.

Fantastic experience: I bought a cbr from Gibson’s last month without viewing the bike in the flesh which is something I don’t usually do unless it’s brand new. Daniel was great on the phone and described the bike very well which gave me the confidence to go through with the sale, he sorted out the courier and kept me informed regarding the delivery.
