Fantastic experience: I decided to take the plunge and go for the full A license last year. Being a bit nervous at first, Jess and Kurt took me through the entire process from basic training right through to passing (first time!). I had no previous motorcycling experience but thanks to them I gained confidence very quickly. I was hooked after day one! Every lesson was an absolute joy. They are incredibly easy to get on with and are great teachers. I’m glad I chose them. Highly recommend. I’d do the whole process with them again if I could!

Fantastic experience: Just two months ago, I had no idea about riding a motorcycle. I had never even sat on one in my life until I joined a training session with Abbey Rider. From the very beginning, starting with Jess during the CBT course and later with Kurt during training on a big bike, I felt completely taken care of. I went into the course thinking I was already a decent rider, but Kurt showed me just how much better I could be! Fantastic experience: These guys are absolutely amazing going above and beyond I sadly got my license revoked and these guys got me back on the road in no time, even using their spare time to get me through it quicker, and teaching me stuff other bike schools don't even bother saying cant thank these guys enough I'd recommend them to anyone!!

I did my CBT with Jess, she was very helpful as she managed to get me dates suitable to my timetable and quicker test dates. Kurt trained me for my full licence test. He was very informative and gave me helpful advice for the test as well as other safe riding insights. He was very patient with me and listened to me as well. Fantastic experience: Both Jess and Kurt are great! They will come up with a plan for you based on your own riding rather than standard courses. Helped me pass MOD1 and MOD2 first time. Couldn’t recommend them more.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a good school to learn motorbikes and want to do your Direct access course, this is the best school, lot of my friends have passed on first go at the Mod 1 & 2, Kurt and Jess are really good, Kurt knows his stuff and has good analysis when it comes to finding where you are going wrong, this school has access to actual TEST Centre which is a big help. I recently passed my exams and could not thank enough to both Kurt and Jess. Do keep in mind that it is best to visit them as they are constantly busy as both Kurt and Jess teach. Jess had gone above and beyond when it came to fitting me into the time table as I have full time job, big thank you to both Kurt and Jess.

Fantastic experience: Just passed and I can't stress enough how comfortable this place (mainly my instructor Jess, big up) made me feel on the bike. She understood that my mental problems get in the way sometimes and ensured I got breaks for when that happened and I was looked after. I really recommend this place because they don't push you unless they see you can do it. So overall go here it's genuinely good and they respect any background.

All requirements clearly shared before each lesson and took me to a first time pass, not just teaching you to ride to test standard but making sure you pass as a safe and confident rider. Fantastic experience: Passed my Mod2 today on A license ! Hurrah !! My journey and experience with Abbey Rider: Did my CBT with Jess ( Excellent instructor, calm and makes you at ease, very professional )Failed my Mod1 after an excellent lesson with Kurt ( Lesson was separate with visit to test centre and doing at DVSA centre over weekend )He is very patient and explain things in simple terms. Another attempt on Mod1 and I had a long lesson( including practice at test centre)and specially before your test there is a warm up lesson. Enjoyed that , which made me confident and I passed Mod1 without any minors. Then came Mod2, excellent professionalism from Kurt and as expected went through test routes, clear instructions and as usual very calm. Failed Mod2 ( One major my mistake). Rebooked and Jess helped with dates as per my and test availability. Finally today another warm up session and passed without any minors. Based on my ride also got good info for my first bike. Overall my experience with Abbey Rider has been excellent. Five stars to the team ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: I have just passed my DAS course,for which Kurt and Jess prepared me for. I have to say they have been amazing from the very first moment. They've both been extremely helpful and patient throughout. I did the inital training and the CBT test with Jess, which was really relaxed in a way where I didn't feel anxious. Her bubbly personality helps you enjoy the learning process, rather than feeling nervous about the things that you might do wrong. After this, Kurt prepared me for my Mod 1 and 2 tests with increadible knowledge, patience and attitude. He is definitley the best instructor I have ever had. For him, it's not just about ensuring that you pass your tests and off you go, he actually goes beyond and above and provides practical advice as well. As a first time motorbike rider, I have actually passed my Mod 2 test with flying colours which was with zero faults. This is all thanks to Kurt and his approach to teaching. I am very grateful.

Fantastic experience: Abbey Rider delivers exceptional confidence inspiring tutoring in a tailored manner that works for you! Back in 2018 I took my A2 licence with them and passed my MOD 1 and 2 with NO MINORS! And today I passed my full A licence with yet another faultless MOD 1 and 2. That’s all 4 tests with not one fault, and I owe it all to Abbey Rider. The teachers Kurt and Jess are really friendly people, it was really easy to book my lessons and they have lots of great knowledge to keep you rubber side down. If you’re unsure about where to start your two wheel journey or pick up where you left off years ago Abbey Rider is the training school you need. Kurt has been teaching for many years and it shows. They use detailed annotated diagrams of various local road intersections to guide you before you turn the key, and then follow up on this on the real road. I don’t live in Swindon, I traveled quite a distance for them and I’d do it again and again… not that I need to now. 100/10 recommend Abbey Rider Thank you Kurt and Jess!

Fantastic experience: Jess is a very friendly person who took the time to sit down with me and talk about my Worries About Being Dyslexic and sitting down taking test. She made learning fun Which made it easier to learn new things. From my ferst time on a bike ever. To getting my CBT. And helping me planing to take the Theory test. By going over Practical test and talking about what il need to look at more to past it. I am happy to go back soon and take the next step in the test to a get my fall Licence with Jess. Fantastic experience: What can I say about Kurt and Jess..after my 1st Swindon school let me down, knocked my confidence and told me “it’s very rare for someone to fail a Mod 1 to be honest, well you’ll lose that money now!”, we popped down and Kurt invited me to sit in on a theory lesson with 2 students. I knew right then with how thorough he was and how he explained it, that these were the guys to go with. A few lessons later and I passed my Mod1&2!! Kurt took his time to calm my nerves and explain things in a way that made sense to my learning style. Jess was brilliant in getting me booked in and bringing the test forward due to the icy weather due. I wouldn’t have done it without these guys, gave me everything I needed to get me through. Fantastic experience: Absolutely incredible! Kurt and Jess were amazing, genuine and the best teachers I’ve had. If you are worried there is no need to be they make you feel so at ease. I just passed my full license with no minors on my mod 2. They are really friendly, helpful and supportive. I couldn’t recommend them enough. Me and my partner just rocked up one day to figure out how we went about booking it all and within a couple months we have both now passed.

Fantastic experience: Completed my CBT with them back in October 22, excellent instructions and good fun! Just completed my A2 license with them. Delivered all of the training perfectly and identified what I needed to work on with extra training but it was well worth it! Passed both tests with no faults, thank you guys!

Fantastic experience: The team at Abbey Training believed in me more than I believed in myself. As a 63 year old first time rider it was a surprisingly quick 6 month journey from CBT in the playground to successful Mod 2 last week. Their patience and guidance is second to none. A great learning experience. I cannot recommend then highly enough. Jess and Kurt have some lines that really stuck. My two favourites: Jess 'They are called roundabouts not straightabouts!!' and Kurt 'There is no law against acceleration!' Great fun. Great training. And now I have the freedom of the road. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone, and especially newbies like me. Thanks Abbey Training.

Fantastic experience: Both me and my partner decided to take our full bike tests 4 or so weeks ago taking a trip down to blade. We were greeted by the Abbey rider trainers (Kurt & Jess) with a warm welcome and easy going atmosphere. Jess sorted lessons out there and then and kept up the amazing communication throughout the whole experience. Both full of little tips and knowledge to help you not only pass your test but become a better rider ! They helped me to pass both my mod 1 and mod 2 with 0 faults thanks to their amazing guidance. 100% would recommend!

Fantastic experience: Went through my CBT and my A2 licence with Abbey Rider Training over 5 years ago and I cannot recommend them more. They were patient and understanding with my anxiety, as well as being extremely knowledgable on all elements of the tests. Without them I wouldn’t have passed. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Jess & Kurt were really good with me I only had one day of riding experience which was my CBT and I went to them they got me test ready & I passed within a month! I also missed one lesson before my MOD 1 which was my fault but they somehow adjusted otherwise I would have had to cancel my test but regarding the lessons, the quality, instructions, tips and tricks were top notch especially the lesson in the parking lot before MOD 1. The on bike time was really good and they covered most test routes too which helped if you’re giving the test in swindon

Fantastic experience: Thank you Jess and Kurt for being great at what they do and love. My CBT ran out when I was 18 (6 years ago) and didn't want to take my A2/A1 and then go and get an "A" license. So I decided to wait 6 years until I was 24 to retake my CBT and start the training and go straight for my "A" license. Jess was great at getting me booked in quickly and communication was spot on and can always ask questions and have a laugh with either Jess or Kurt. Both Kurt and Jess were great at the training they gave. I passed my MOD 1 & 2 first time and am so happy as its been a long wait! Thanks to both of you of making my year in helping me get my licence as its my escape and passion. See you on the roads ️

Fantastic experience: I have had the best time learning to ride with abbey rider training. Kurt and Jess are very pleasant people to deal with and are very good at what they do. Initially, I most certainly did not feel confident with the slow manoeuvres in Mod 1 training. Kurt watched what I was doing and ironed out the doubt in my mind in no time! He left no stone unturned so I could really get all the subtle details I needed In order to pass on test day… I passed on the first attempt with 1 minor! When it came down to Mod 2 practice, I felt pretty good with how I was doing but still needed to hear those all important pieces of information, which is crucial to understand, in order to not rack up those minors on test day. I applied everything I was taught to the best of my ability and this resulted In a first time Mod 2 pass with zero minors! I could not be happier with my overall experience and would not recommend any other training school. Abbey Rider all the way! :)

Fantastic experience: I got my CBT, A2 and now A licence with Abbey Rider on the recommendation of my father, and I have nothing but good things to say about them. For both my A2 and A licence, I phoned up spur-of-the-moment, and Jess was very accommodating to fit me in as soon as possible. It took them all of 2 weeks to get me through the upgrade to A from A2, and they only reason they couldn't have done it faster is there were no test slots available any sooner. Kurt is pragmatic and knowledgeable, always tailoring his training to your skill level and what you're getting right or wrong. Simply put, if you listen to what he says, you'll get through the test no problem. A note for anyone shopping around, the prices they quote to you will be higher than other schools. But these are all-in; no hidden costs, no clever tricks to keep you paying more. They are always straight up-and-down with you. Every time I've gone to them, I have never felt like I could have gotten the same for less. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone from a beginner looking to get a CBT, all the way up to an anyone doing a full-power licence. They know what they’re doing and they do it very well.

Fantastic experience: Without a doubt the best experience. I had used 2 prior Motorcycle training centres locally to me in Bristol to obtain CBT and MOD 1 however having heard very positive feedback about Abbey Rider Training made the longer journey to embark on MOD 2. The team are superb! no egos just clear , concise training, great consideration of individual experience, needs and areas of apprehension. Just the best and highly recommended. I'll be going back for advanced training..

Fantastic experience: Jess and Kurt have been amazing. Looking back, I didn't realise what friendly, supportive and experienced hands I would be in. Beginning with my introductory lesson (first time on a bike) right through to getting a full licence it's been such a rewarding experience and quite a ride! They've both given me skills, not just what it takes to pass my tests, but skills which will make riding a bike safer for years to come, that I can build on. Fantastic experience: Without a doubt the best motorbike school in the Wiltshire area! I completed my CBT with another Swindon school and the gaps in my knowledge and confidence were immense! Kurt and Jess didn’t just teach me to pass my Mod1 & 2 but they taught me how to ride to different situations and gave me the confidence I needed too! Nothing was too much trouble and when I felt I needed a little more time on the test centre, they made time for me outside of their normal times. It’s clear from the start that they genuinely care about making you a great rider and you’re not on a conveyor belt of customers. The professionalism and value for money are second to none! I’ll be back to complete my advanced rider training soon and would not consider sending my teenagers anywhere else to start their biker journey .

Fantastic experience: I started riding just over a year ago during summer 2020. Jess from Abbey Rider Training took me through the CBT, Making it a fun and achievable goal for a complete beginner with her down-to-earth approachable demeanor and excellent instruction. I can highly recommend doing your CBT with Abbey. I choose to focus on allowing myself to gain experience of riding my 125cc all through the seasons until I decided to go back to Abbey a year later in 2021 to complete the direct access path with them. Kurt was my instructor this time around. He taught me everything I needed to know to feel confident and safe on the 600cc, as well as more crucially, getting me ready for the MOD1 & MOD2 tests. Due to the great training I received I passed both tests first time. Even having to take my MOD2 on a wet an windy autumn day with damp leaves on the roads. A great place to do your motorcycle training

Fantastic experience: Spoke with Kurt about booking my CBT, he asked about my previous riding experience (almost none!) and encouraged me to take advantage of their introductory lesson, once having spoken to him, booking was simple! I will update with my review of their teaching once I’ve completed the course. However, given previous reviews I’m certain I’ll come away feeling confident in starting my riding career!

Fantastic experience: These guys are amazing, I had my cbt renewed with them last week and the entire thing was smooth and enjoyable. The other two riders doing their cbt alongside me were nervous as it was their first time but our instructor (Jess) did an amazing job of keeping them calm and making sure they understood everything. No matter what level you are, Jess and Kirk would make you at ease, set your own pace and teach you not just to pass the tests but to drive practically on the road and safely. Fantastic experience: Went back for 1-2-1 lesson 2 years after passing my full test with Abbey. I wanted to address some confidence/handling issues and technical skills. Kurt gave me superb knowledgeable person tuition and directly addressed my riding skills. Spoke at length about suitable bike choice for me. These guys have really been faultless in helping me enjoy get on 2 wheels safely.

Fantastic experience: I've been with these guys from my CBT at 18, right through to passing my full A Licence today at 22. Really know what they're doing and I would recommend them to anyone who was new to bikes and looking to get their licence. Kurt and Jess are both great people and they're very patient and encouraging. Always giving you helpful riding tips through the process. A very relaxed atmosphere and can have a good laugh too . Can't put them wrong.

Fantastic experience: Today I completed my CBT training and what a fantastic day I have had. Everyone at Abbey Rider were so welcoming and friendly. Rod was my instructor and I couldn't recommend him enough. Very knowledgeable and a great teacher. Fantastic experience: I have completed my CBT and then have gone through to complete my A2 full licence with Abbey Rider. The service that they provided was excellent and I couldn't fault them. Fantastic experience: Abbey Rider Training are the best. I took my CBT last year and wanted to do my A1 license this year. Jess was my instructor and helped me through every step. Jess is a fantastic instructor and it's also to her credit that I passed my A1 mod 1 with flying colours, followed by my A1 mod 2 with a completely clean sheet. Fantastic experience: I just want to say a great big THANK YOU to all at Abbey Rider. I recently redone my CBT training with them. What a fantastic day from start to finish. The instructors were exceptionally kind and professional. They made the whole experience so much more enjoyable than my last CBT which I done with Riding in Action. The 2 companies are like chalk and cheese. When I done my CBT I found the Instructor to be exceptionally rude and very unprofessional and demeaning. He had no time or patience for people making mistakes. He talked down to you. Where as Abbey Rider Training were the complete opposite. I would recommend them to anyone. So come on ladies and gents. Book Abbey Rider Training for all your Motor bike training. I promise you that you won't be sorry.

Fantastic experience: Did my CBT and A2 with these guys and they were absolutely fantastic. Prices are honest with no hidden fees, and are amazing for the level of training you receive. Instructors were friendly and very informative, but not overly strict which made the learning fun and enjoyable. Practice area is a very good size, and closely resembles that to the test centre which makes it more accurate to the actual test. Would definitely recommend Abbey Rider Training to any friends, family or even strangers who want to take up motorcycle riding, no matter what level of experience they have.
