Fantastic experience: It's a late review but I've only just got out on the bike properly today, I purchased a 2017 YZ450F through Andrew here about 3 months ago , what a gentleman he is, and after doing an enduro event today the bike performed absolutely faultless all day what a machine she is, thanks Ryan.

Fantastic experience: As inexperienced ATV owners we decided to go to David Jones in Newtown to purchase our second hand Honda TRX420. Their numerous good reviews gave us confidence that they would help us find the ideal vehicle. Sean, who handled the sale, was very helpful and knowledgeable and went out of his way to ensure we were happy and confident with our purchase. When he delivered the ATV to us he took the time to give us a lesson on how to use it safely and competently. I am now riding it around with confidence and it is perfect for the job we bought it for. I can highly recommend David Jones dealership and Sean in particular for his patience with a couple of total ATV novices.

Fantastic experience: On way to explore north wales and my mate had problem with Honda NT1100. We stopped off in Newtown headed to David jones Honda dealership. They quickly had a look and found needed rear wheel bearing. They had parts and fixed it on the spot. Brilliant company went above and beyond! Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Amazing guys, so helpful, kind and friendly. Toilet, coffee facilities, Motorbike tyre change at a moments notice and only took the mechanic less than half an hour! Record breaker, he must have worked in the pit with the racing boys! Lol. Felt that we were visiting with old friends. 10/10

Fantastic experience: We were recently on holiday in Wales on our Kawasaki z1000sx and unfortunately had an off and snapped the break lever, after trying a few places John and team at David Jones couldn't have been more helpful and managed to order an after market one for us and rang as soon as soon as it had arrived. Fantastic experience: Best motorcycle shop I have ever used in over 48 years of motorcycling. They are a very friendly yet professional team of people and are always willing to help and advise. Prices are always very good and the service is second to non. I travel 150 mile round trip to purchase my bikes and have them serviced as it's well worth it. I definitely recommend this shop.

Fantastic experience: Heros, saints and legends! I broke down just 6 miles away from these guys with a broken chain. 14:30 on a Saturday afternoon! I called ahead and they said they'd be able to sort something if I got it there. They even offered to collect but I had sorted a VERY temporary repair Got there. Super helpful and friendly staff. Literally turned me around with a brand new chain supplied and fitted for an absolute fantastic price in less than one hour! Can't thank you enough!

Negative experience: Stay clear of David Jones Newtown if you're looking for work on your bike. Had a few negative interactions with them now but the latest is the last.. Paid for them to remove my exhaust due to seized bolts stopping me doing it myself and fit a new set of pipes. They told me the exhaust didn't fit so just billed me for the labour to get my old set on and off. I'd seen photos of other XVSs with these exact exhaust fitted so decided to do it myself. Guess what? Bolts still seized, my pipes have never been off. I'd give zero stars if possible.

Fantastic experience: Got a puncture a couple of miles from shop late Saturday afternoon. They came, picked up bike, took it back to the workshop, and got me back on the road in 40 mins. Unfortunately, I had to have a new tyre, but it was reasonably priced and decent make. Couldn't fault the staff, and even had a brew whilst I waited. Excellent service. Thanks

Fantastic experience: I rode up from the Isle of Wight a couple of days ago and stopped at the McDonalds opposite the bike shop for a quick bite to eat. When I returned to the bike (a 2020 Tenere 700) the front tyre was flat. I walked across to David Jones and asked for help, which was immediately given. The mechanic deferred his lunch break to get me on my way quickly and one of the staff came out and refilled my water bottle with ice cold water whilst I waited. It's little details like that, that turn a good service into a great service and I greatly appreciated the help and kindness shown. Thank you, guys. I arrived with my stepdad 30 mins late but without you I'd have ridden a long way without even meeting him. Your service will not be forgotten. Duncan

Fantastic experience: Bought a quad bike via Sean. Fantastic customer service - prompt, efficient and straightforward. Bike arrived safely packed and presented like new with a complimentary user pack including a tyre pressure gauge which is a great touch. Excellent peace of mind that I have bought a good value bike in A1 condition that I can get straight to work on - why I ever thought about buying privately from Ebay or FB marketplace I don't know.

Fantastic experience: Booked my Honda ATV in for a problem I was having with my electronic gear change. Lee, the service manager was excellent, keeping me informed of progress and the various options available to fix the problem. The technician working on the bike, sorry I don’t remember his name, went above and beyond to trace the source of the electrical problem. This turned out to be a poor connection to the ECU. Bearing in mind the age of the machine, and the very high cost of a new ECU, I am extremely grateful that they took the time to trace the fault, rather than just replace the entire unit, which could have cost as much as the bike is worth! On picking up the bike, I was very impressed that the bike was loaded on my trailer by the guys, while I paid the very reasonable bill. On reaching home I tried out the machine. The push button gear change is now working much better than it has ever been during my five year ownership. Fantastic result guys

Fantastic experience: I unfortunately suffered a flat back tyre on my Yamaha motorcycle while on a recent trip to Wales. The RAC trailered me to David Jones at Newtown who could not have been more helpful. They had stock of a selection of tyres for my bike, recommended me one that would match my front tyre (which happened to be on a deal too) fitted me into their full schedule and returned the bike to me, all in under an hour of turning up! Furthermore, when I accidentally left all my credit cards in the store they then contacted me by finding me on FB and then offered to send them to my home address by special delivery. Amazing service from all the team and deserving of a great recommendation

Negative experience: Lovely showroom. My partner is looking for a new bike ready for getting out and about again as Spring approaches. He saw a couple that caught his attention but we were amazed that the sales staff didn't show any interest in us being there at all - so we left. No excuses as there was no one else in the showroom. We will look elsewhere even if it means travelling to another dealership further away.

Fantastic experience: Can't rate these guys highly enough. Used them several times since we moved to the area for both mine and my wifes bikes. Called 1pm today to see if they had an urgent MOT slot as I suddenly realised I'd 'let it slip' a tad.. By 4pm this afternoon all done with a years ticket. Great to see a no messing, very fair MOT tester who wasn't out to fail my old girl and was willing to give his advice for things needed during the coming months rather than cut down another rain forest for the sake of it. Highly recommended.
