Fantastic experience: I have done several CBT and DAS lessons with other riding schools- only to be let down. I undertook lessons with Rab- on a recommendation by another school. I never looked back. He quickly got me comfortable on a bike again, got me through both MOD1 & 2. He explains things in a way that you understand and demonstrates manoeuvres and talks you through them, making it easy to complete. Honestly, I cannot recommend this school enough. Rab is patient, funny and most of all compassionate (I started the lessons in the middle of a mental health crisis). He was fabulous with me. He instilled a sense of calm and belief in me that I never knew I had all while making sure I was safely riding a motorbike. Thanks to him I can now ride the bike my husband bought me. A massive thank you.

Fantastic experience: Nothing but a positive experience from start to finish! I honestly can't recommend them enough. I came to Ray and Robert from having a bad taster session with another school, my confidence was non existent and I explained this to them. They do everything at your own pace and in ways that work best for you to learn. They go above and beyond to get you where you need to be in order for you to sit your Mods. The person dealing with all the bookings is also a saint and very well organised! A brilliant team to have dealt with and after obtaining my full motorcycle licence I will surely miss Rabs banter!

Fantastic experience: Best school ever! =D I didn’t have great experiences with other schools. I tried three different instructors in West Lothian, but they just took my money without proper trainings. I highly recommend High Five Riders. Robert is incredibly patient and explains everything clearly, making sure you understand exactly what needs to be done. Also, good, fast and clear communication with the office. After plenty of laughs and a few tears, I passed my MOT1 and MOT2 yesterday! Thank you so much! =) =)

Fantastic experience: If you're either someone a bit nervous around bikes or scooters, or a woman a little uncomfortable in what can be an intimidating and macho environment, then I couldn't recommend Rab and Ray more. They listened to my concerns, made me feel at ease, and built up my skills and confidence while reminding me to have fun. I walked away at the end of my CBT having really enjoyed myself and feeling much more comfortable on a scooter. Thanks guys!

Did my CBT, Mod 1 and Mod 2 with them and passed my Mod 1 and Mod 2 on my first attempts which I wouldn’t have done without Robert’s training and support! He explains things so well and knows how to make you feel at ease! Also demonstrates a lot which is great as I am such a visual person and can understand things better this way! I was the most nervous for my Mod 1 but Robert books out the test pad to practice on a few days before the test! Genuinely gives you all the tools and training you need in order to pass your tests! Thanks guys! I will definitely be back for some advanced training on my Harley!

Fantastic experience: There are many reasons why myself and north of 180 others have given this outfit 5 stars. I could write an essay explaining my rationale, but I would merely be repeating what those who have gone before have said. When it comes to mentors/instructors, Rab and Ray are right up there. Don't believe us, then book a taster lesson and find out for yourself. Should add I will be returning in the future to get my big bike licence.

Fantastic experience: Passed my mod 2 with Rab today and I couldn’t be more pleased. The rigorous training you get from this school is outstanding, I was fully ready and confident for my test; After coming from a different training school you can see the difference in equipment and knowledge is night and day! Fantastic experience: I'm not sure what new information I can add to convince you to use High Five for your rider training, if 185 previous 5 star reviews haven't convinced you (that record speaks for itself!). My experience with High Five was incredible, from the first time I met Rab I knew I was in safe hands. His enthusiasm for biking is infectious and he's very patient at teaching you the correct techniques. Almost no other riding schools take you to the test pad before your mod 1 and trust me when I say this is the best money you'll spend during your training. It shows in the results, I passed my mod 1 first time and my mod 2 first time. And the best bit is they are the same price as other schools, so you get a better quality product for the same money! Save yourself the hassle and money of going elsewhere and give High Five a phone.

Fantastic experience: Big props to Robert and the team at High Five Rider training. Between the office being able to fit me in on a busy schedule of their own then offering earlier slots as they came available and Robert's knowledge and support throughout, always going the extra mile to make sure your capable and confident it's been a superb experience with High Five Rider training. With them "A spades a spade" and it's been anything but that, thanks very much team!

Fantastic experience: High Five Rider Training took me through my whole A2 process and all I can say is that they are superb. The staff catered my lessons around work and were friendly on the phone. Ray is a great instructor for getting you started in the world of biking who provides invaluable advice. Robert coaches you through the MOD 1 and MOD 2 training and the advice and technique he brings is invaluable and worth its weight in gold. Its a great environment to train in which is all down to the staff.

Fantastic experience: Thank you High Fiver Rider. I would recommend that anyone interested in motorbike training gets in touch. The office staff were very helpful with bookings, reminders before tests & all other enquiries without any delays. Robert has a wealth of knowledge and teaches you how to ride correctly and safely. He explained every step of the process and ensures you are fully prepared for your tests. A great experience completing my DAS for my category A licence. The MT07 bikes are great to learn on.

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Rab and the team at High Five enough! I did my CBT somewhere else last year and knew I wouldn’t go back there. I asked for recommendations for where was best to finish my DAS and High Five kept coming up. From the minute I met Rab I felt at ease. I went from a conversion lesson all the way to passing both MODS (first time) in the space of 2 months. Rab is a fab instructor, he really takes the time to dissect the way someone rides and corrects mistakes quickly. He’s really good and finding alternative ways of teaching so that you get it after a couple of go’s. I’m honestly over the moon to have my full licence and I can honestly say that I don’t know if I would’ve passed first time if I’d gone somewhere else! Thank you again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: Rab put me through my A2 licence. Can't recommend him enough. His Full day Mod 2 training was the way to go, was probably the lesson that improved me the most, allowing loads of time and instruction on the big bike. Even stopped for a Maccas. He'll not waste time or ask you to do unnecessary lessons. He let me drive the bike to my Mod1 test in Musselburgh, basically an extra 1hr lesson on the road. This really helped for my Mod 2.

Fantastic experience: I loved every minute of my High Five Rider Training experience! Ray got me through my CBT and Rab ... got me through everything else. It was my dream to learn how to ride and be confident on a bike. High Five Rider Training realised my dream effortlessly on their part, not so on mine. Module 1 was my nemesis; sweat, tears and the drama that goes with it. I escaped the jail of the Mod 1 pad on my (huh-hmm) fourth attempt! I nearly passed out on the Tarmac, not because of the training or my ability but only due to my nerves. Rab was my rock supporting me every step of the way. He is amazing. His chilled-out manner and spot on encouragement were delightful. Their valuable teachings I'll always keep them safe with me. I am grateful.

Fantastic experience: Rab got me through my mod 1 first time with zero faults and last week my mod 2 first time (i needed a good bit of work so quite a feat btw) he gets to know you and how you ride and equips you with excellent knowledge about what you need to do to get through the tests, and more importantly to give you the skills and knowhow to be safe by having good situational awareness and control of the bike while your out on your own or with a group having fun, if your searching for somewhere to get you through your bike licence stop now and get on the phone to get booked in.

Fantastic experience: High five are fantastic. I did my conversion and mod 1 and 2 with them. Rab is a fantastic instructor, he has patience and really knows his stuff. Having did my CBT elsewhere, I can honestly say High 5 are a class above. Great bikes, well looked after and the lessons cover everything you ever need to know.

Fantastic experience: I would love to be able to write two reviews, (maybe three, because I did it all alongside my partner). My original 5* review was about my experience of the CBT, with Ray. I feel like the experience with Rab doing the big bike training was similar, but warrants its own seperate acknowledgement. I've also had to edit it all, to condense the review of both in to a more manageable read, that doesn't emulate War and Peace. The 'War' of one's own inability and frustration, then being moulded into the 'Peace,' these bike instructor gurus created throughout their lessons. Firstly, the office were really lovely on the phone, being open and transparent in their charging structure. Ray and Rab will tailor your training to your ability and I didn't once think we had any unnecessary amount of lessons. From the CBT right through to passing our big bike tests, there was always A LOT of time on the bike and we made clear progress each time. Ray is this zen, Yoda-Energy bike Jedi. From the outset he made us feel really comfortable, relaxed and his array of tips and tricks, not just had us riding the 125cc, geared bikes competently, but we both came away from that day, feeling FULLY in control of the bikes. And then we began our big bike training with Rab, who I have Christened 'Moses,' because this other God-like bike instructor guru took us riding over to Edinburgh to do our Module 1 test, one morning. Rab assisted us to get through the traffic by positioning his bike, so that this sea of cars on the Edinburgh by-pass, parted to make safe passage for us. This whole experience was HUGE to me. It was testament to his ability as an instructor, to have got us to a point where he felt comfortable that we were capable of filtering like this and also, that in doing so, we felt really comfortable, really confident and totally in control of the bike. It felt like this ride over to the test centre was also a lesson that had just notched us up a level. The amount of time that Rab utilises to give you more time on the bike, like long rides over to the test centres, I think are invaluable. I'm a heating engineer and I've been involved in training. There's a particular skill set in teaching a verbal instruction for someone else to then to translate that into a practical skill and Ray and Rab are the best instructors I have ever known. I'm pretty sure they could take the most anxious person, chill them out and get them riding a bike comfortably. Their ability to pick out the smallest of detail, feed it back to you in a way that makes sense and then give you tips to improve your riding, is phenomenal. Small things they picked up on and the improvements their instruction made, were often mind-blowing. I've even become a more aware and safer car driver, for having embarked on training with these guys. It is clear that Ray and Rab have an encyclopedic knowledge for what is expected of you from the DVLA and their test standards. Throughout our training, I unlearned a lot of stuff from a couple of previous bike training companies! Companies that put me to test, when I wasn't ready, or ever really felt in control of the bike. I previously failed my Mod 2 as a result. If I had come to Highfive, I would've passed both tests first time, as I have now done. I enjoyed every second of our training and I will be eternally grateful, not just for being taught the skills to ride a motorbike, but to have come away from Highfive, feeling and knowing that I can control the bike really comfortably and well. I still have a lot to learn, but here is where the fun begins. Thank you to you all! It was amazing!

Fantastic experience: Robert got me through my mod1 and mod2 just a few weeks ago with a pass first time on each. I have never passed a driving test first time for my car, or my A2 two years ago - I'm generally very anxious and stressed under test but Robert really made me feel confident, reassured me throughout and found multiple ways to teach me whenever I had difficulties, and I feel with any other instructor I wouldn't have passed first time lol. He is truly a wonderful instructor and a great guy, would definitely recommend anyone looking to get training or even just confidence riding to use High Five - can't praise them enough.

Fantastic experience: Honestly couldn't speak highly enough of Robert and the team! They took me from zero experiance through mycbt 1st time! Helped with my theory test - Passed 1st time, mod 1 - Passed first time and my mod 2- again Passed 1st time! Fantastic experience: Recently sat my CBT with Ray. The training was not only excellent but also enjoyable.The guys couldn't be more helpful. The owner Robert even called me back at about 9 pm one night after i called looking for some advice on buying a bike during the day and has linked me up one to purchase off an ex studant. They do have genuine interest in you as a person and not to just your cash. Ive got a couple of friends hoping to do the Cbt so i know where to recomend they go and ill hopefully be back to sit the full licence with them.Great job guys see you both soon

Fantastic experience: If your looking to get you CBT, A2 or full licence you'll not get better training than with High five rider training. Ray carried out my CBT his experience and patience really helped in settling you in to learn the fundamentals of bike control. Moving on to mod 1 Rab took over any issues I had he allways had advise on why and how to correct got to say I gave him plenty to get frustrated at but he never showed it. He went above and beyond to give us as much training as we needed even booking out te test centre for practice prior to tests. Another thing that helped was riding the bikes to test no turn up jump on with this team. Mod 2 1 week later I had full day training for this with Rab I had a great day and left the training day feeling fully ready for test glad to say I passed. Cheers Ray and Rab really appreciate the time you both put in I will definitely be back for some advanced training once I have had a wee bit fun this spring and Summer cheers Stuart M

Fantastic experience: What can I say, if you want to learn how to ride a motorcycle you won't find anyone better than High Five Rider Training. I sat my CBT test with Rab in July having never ridden a motorbike before that day. I then went on to train and pass both Mod 1 & 2 tests first time by November, this is all down to Rab's first class tuition. His knowledge and skills as an instructor along with his passion for motorbikes is first class. When it came to booking training days and tests the office staff were also brilliant! Fantastic experience: Thorough training at High Five, Rab can and will point out any development points. Not forcing you through a test early and good long training days ensured I was prepared in good time and breezed through both Mod 1 and 2, even after failing Mod 1 the first from a silly mistake. Worked out cheaper than anywhere else and certainly learned a lot more within the training. Fantastic experience: Great company, great training, Rab (the owner and trainer) who I did my A2 training with is brand new, Ray who I done my CBT with was great as well and the customer service from the office is unbelievably good, very friendly and nice to speak to and managed to move my tests around to squeeze me in to get my license before my 20th. I did my CBT, and A2 here and was fully passed first time on all my tests within a month and a half. If you’re considering getting your license this has to be your first and only choice. I’ll be back in 2 years for my A license

Would recommend to anyone looking to get their license - also managed to get tests booked very quickly for me so no long waiting lists.

Fantastic experience: After not having been on a motorcycle for many years and feeleing nervous about collecting my new bike I gave High Five a call. They immediately understood my position and explained how they could help. I arranged a Return to Riding session that started with a 125 in the car park and then swiftly moved up to a 750. After a few more pointers and practice we were out on the road. The session was just what was needed. The instruction was superb, delivered in a friendly way and all my questions were answered. Most of all it was really fun. Thank you very much, I look forward to returning for some more advanced training once I have a few miles under my belt.

Don't expect to be namby pambied, you will be told straight when you have mucked it up, but with clear description of where you went wrong, and good instruction on how to correct. Equally, when you do something well, you are told you done well, and why. With Rae's instruction, demonstration, and encouragement, my confidence built over the day and felt, apprehensive, but ready for road work. Again, out on road, Rae's instruction (via headset) was on point. Felt safe under his instruction. Highly reccommended.

He answered every question I had and was immensely patient with me and overall a great instructor who kept me relaxed on the actual test days. Fantastic experience: I chose to do my CBT with High5 because of their excellent online ratings and the guys live up to their score. I am a new rider and the instructor on the day, Ray, made sure to take extra time to explain things in a way I understood and made sure I was confident with each exercise before moving on to the next. Rob and Ray are both excellent teachers and value the comfort and confidence of their students, which as a new rider was very helpful and settled a lot of nerves. Can't recommend them enough.

Having completed my CBT twice over the years with schools through in Edinburgh I was very pleased with my decision to travel through to Falkirk for my DAS. Fantastic experience: Great experience very good instructors much better than other places in the Falkirk area for motorcycle training, I did my cbt and mod 1 and 2 with rab, was a breeze to pass first time on all with rabs experience and expertise. And if you are nervous going into it they will settle your nerves with there great banter that you won't find anywhere else so if your contemplating going for your CBT or any other aspect of biking go for it highfiverider is the school you should be picking .

Fantastic experience: Did my taster session today with Rab. The one hour session ended up being more like 90 minutes. Rab is a great instructor. Very patient and confidence-inspiring. Looking forward to doing my CBT with High Five Training now. Updating as I’ve now done my CBT. Ray was today’s instructor and he was also excellent. Straight to the point but without making you feel stupid. Really encouraging as well and we did 2 hours on some really busy roads and junctions at evening rush hour and with some heavy downpours and at no time did I feel unsafe. That’s got to be down to great instructors as I was an absolute beginner just 10 days ago. Had never even sat on a bike until the taster. Highly recommended
