Fantastic experience: Just completed my CBT at Cam Rider Ipswich, with two very awesome instructors John and Mike. I had no prior experience riding a motorcycle or driving a car (other then a few lessons many years ago). I started on a manual and fell off the moment I began to move so I carried on the day using a moped. There is a lot to take in so using the moped definitely gave me the confidence I needed. After a successful ride on the road with John we headed back to the test site and I was given the opportunity to have another go with the manual and I found it so much better. Big thank you to John and Mike for being such cool dudes. I’d highly recommend Cam Rider and will definitely be going back to see them when I’m ready to book my full Bike test. lots of love from one out of the two Chloe’s

Fantastic experience: After ignoring the itch for over 20 years I decided to dip the toe with my CBT. John and Warren are both an absolute pleasure and I was left feeling confident before and after every stage. I enjoyed it so much the plan of sitting on a 125 for a year might become the plan of getting back ASAP to DAS. Not a single negative!

Fantastic experience: I booked a CBT for Monday this week and it was easy to do online and when I turned up I was met by one of the instructors. I was made to feel welcome very quickly and got straight on with the course with the other students after introduction. I started in the 50cc moped as that was what I wanted to ride after my CBT (I was abit nervous about riding a geared bike) After listening to the instructions given to another student(Matt) learning on the 125cc geared bike I felt like I had the confidence to ride a geared bike for the first time. I was given 20mins instruction after being asked how i felt havng it a go and was told I was ready to go on the road on a geared bike for my CBT(I think I'm a quick learner but more than that, the instructors made me feel confident and safe) After going on the road and having very good instructions I passed my CBT and have already booked my Motorbike theory test (I only wanted a moped licence but had loads of fun so want my full licence!) Fantastic experience: Done my CBT with Mike at CAM Rider today. I was super nervous but he was patient and motivating me the whole way. Although I’ve been driving a car for years, I can honestly say I left here feeling confident riding on roads and even more aware of what’s happening around me whilst driving my car. Met a few of the other chaps who work there, all of which were great characters and assured me that I was doing great on the day. Would highly recommend CAM Rider to anyone! Looking forward to perusing Mod1+2 with them!

Fantastic experience: The most awful weather (wind, rain, hail, bright sunshine) but a really good day. Booking my CBT was easy - Joanna was great, very helpful. Our instructor John was brilliant - great teacher (I have never sat on a bike!) and made me feel better when I had a panic attack about going out on the road. He was patient and encouraging in just the right measure - didn’t push me to go out but told me I was good enough if I wanted to. I went, I passed! Thank you John!

Fantastic experience: Attended my CBT today with the sexy beast of a John n his bro warren, brilliant days learning they was very encouraging and informative,made you feel welcomed and relaxed. But I wished the CBT was done over a day and a half first day learning to control the bike fully,and a second morning out on the road. About a year later I went back to Camrider ipswich to take my Mod 1 & Mod 2, this time I had jim, Another brilliant instructor and again a great guy, He gave me the confidence and knowledge to be able to pass both first time, A great team and I would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I did my cbt with John and he got me from having never rides anything to being able to ride a geared bike in just a couple of hours the staff were all very friendly and down to earth. At the end of the day I got my cbt and had a good time while I was there

Fantastic experience: I've been riding for 6 years now, so I've refreshed my CBT 3 times. each time I've come back to CAM rider as the atmosphere and instructors are always so friendly. for two of them John was my instructor and he makes you feel like you're being taught by a friend. can't recommend this place enough.

Fantastic experience: I was so scared to do my CBT and have been putting it off since I was 18 when I decided I wanted to (im mow 24) . I was a complete beginner with no experience on a bike/moped and with no knowledge about them either so it was incredibly daunting for me. However i'm so glad I did it with Camrider as they were amazing and put me completely at ease from the very beginning. They taught me in a way that made it easy to remember the information and most of all enjoy riding! The only thing I regret is not doing it sooner as the sense of freedom i feel now and excitement i have for riding is massive. I would definitely recommend them, particularly if you're nervous or doubting whether to do it or not as I'm so glad I did and although I was nervous they put me completely at ease and went through everything from start to finish (reminding me of anything I forgot along the way). I'm so glad I did it with camrider and will definitely be back again to do it again in a few years with them and maybe even eventually my full bike licence! Definitely recommend them!!

Fantastic experience: As soon as I arrived I was made to feel at ease and welcomed by John and Warren. Staff were professional yet laid back and calm. The training was intensive yet enough instruction and support was given to complete each task. As required for our safety the CBT has changed since my last course 20 years ago for the better and our safety was paramount to these guys. The mopeds provided were sound and equipment was provided for those without. I was even loaned alternative gloves as mine were uncomfortable. The experience of the instructors was extensive and they really knew how to get each of us through the course. In all I totally recommend Ipswich Camrider and will definitely be using them again.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible place. My friend went there and there was 3 instructors for 2 students giving them conflicting instructions, they didn't even take her on the roads and took £175 off her and told her she'd need to pay another £175 if she wanted to come back. She showed her skills to an ex instructor I knew and he was beyond baffled why they refused to take her on the road. Absolute thieves. I trust in 1st castle alot more than here unfortunately there isn't one near her.

Fantastic experience: I recently did my CBT with these guys and they were fantastic! Before hand I was quite worried about being a woman in my 30's doing my moped training with teenage boys. But Warren and John were brilliant, I never once felt uncomfortable or out of place. They were so encouraging that even though I had signed up to learn a 50cc they gave me the confidence to try a 125cc geared bike. Something I never thought I would do. The whole day was relaxed and actually really enjoyable. I cannot recommend these guys enough! If you are a women and feeling nervous about doing your CBT you couldn't be in better hands than doing your training with these guys. Actually no matter who you are these guys are great!

Fantastic experience: John and Warren are so welcoming and are very good at helping nervous students feel at ease. I wouldn’t go with any other company. They are patient, encouraging and will always put student safety first. A tip for if you are going and you are nervous, pack a good lunch with sugary food and drink to keep your energy up throughout the day, it will help a lot! This is the third time I’ve done my CBT over the years, but I’m hoping to work towards my full licence soon and look forward to seeing the guys again! Thank you ☺️

Fantastic experience: I had my cbt today. I would highly recommend these chaps to teach you. They are so chilled, they talk over things again and again to get into your brain. They even have a laugh and joke around. So much more better them my other cbt place I first done (Suffolk riders) but yh I definitely go to this place. I got called someone from call of duty because I was in full blue camo gear .love it well done chaps you smashed it again

Fantastic experience: Had an absolutely fantastic day learning to ride on a twist and go with John and Warren last Friday, they are lovely and chilled, full of laughs and took time to answer my endless questions and I felt comfortable even though I was the only girl there when the instructions were repeated and I didn't get it I changed the way I remembered it to suit me, would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Did my CBT earlier today and enjoyed my experience. I recently turned 16 and was nervous to get onto the road and wasn't confident with my biking skills. Jon and other instructors made the experience enjoyable and although there were some stressful moments they gave me the proper time necessary to practice until I was fully confident with my ability. Really couldn't of asked for a better experience would highly recommend for beginner riders and riders with high ability.

Fantastic experience: Camrider Ipswich (and Cambridge) came highly recommended and for good reason. Did CBT last week in Ipswich at age 50 with a mate, John and Warren were brilliant instructors both round the cones and on the road. They offered great advice, including to experienced drivers (with patience…), a very amusing double act! A really good day and decent value for what you achieve by the end of the day, including all the gear for the day. Can’t wait to go back asap for Modules 1 and 2. Thanks again

Fantastic experience: Travelled up from Folkestone to do the CBT with a mate from Ipswich who said CAMrider were very highly regarded locally. We weren’t disappointed - John and Warren immediately made us feel at ease with their relaxed and comic style. The course was quite intense and serious but interactive and, to coin a phrase “learning made fun”. As complete novices to bikes, we learnt a lot and will be using these guys to progress to the next level!

Fantastic experience: Did my cbt yesterday with John and Warren, both bikers, very knowledgeable, kind and worked with your strengths, didn't put you down when you got it wrong but instead talked to you, encouraged you and made you feel better in yourself . I'm 65 and been off bikes 25 yrs and it showed and I made mistakes, but, with their encouragement, I got better and stopped doubting myself and ended up having a blast. To begin with the playground section was difficult but I came out of my shell on the Road section of the course. Thoroughly enjoyed the day, passed of course . Would recommend camrider to everyone. Fantastic experience: I done mu cbt with the Ipswich guys last week and they were absolutely brilliant. Very funny which made me relaxed and less anxious. They knew their stuff and was very clear when teaching me. They were polite, friendly and was happy to get another female motorcyclist on the road. Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend these guys having passed my full bike test yesterday with little to no previous bike experience. As a lorry driver (John give them toy cars back lol) I do have road experience but these guy have a system in place for younger riders and people who may have no road experience. If my kids decide to ride in a few years i will be sending them here. Cheers guys

Fantastic experience: I first used Camrider in 2017 for a CBT and in October 2022 I decided to get my full bike licence and thought I'd use Camrider again due to such a positive experience with my CBT in 2017. I don't regret it! I've since retaken my CBT last year with John and purchased the 5 session package for a full licence. I've just taken my mod 1 and passed first time feeling relaxed and confident with what I had learnt and I'm now waiting on my mod 2 later next week. I can't fault any of my instructors who have been amazing and have explained things clearly. I have felt very confident during my training and have been left feeling very confident and prepared ready for my mod 2. Never felt discriminated against. Never felt rushed or panicked and the motorcycles are well maintained. The Ipswich team are a friendly and effective team and want to see you pass and succeed with your tests!

The day is progressive and you won't be asked to do anything until you are comfortable with the previous steps. In the space of a few hours you can go from never having set foot on a bike, to someone who is confident -- and safe enough -- to ride on the road. John is a brilliant instructor capable of putting your nerves at ease with his sense of humour and professional instruction.
